Patient, caring staff. Experience of dementia was invaluable for the care of my mother. Carers were empathetic and kind. Good communication with the office and management and quick resolution of any problems or the need for urgent care cover. all staff friendly, respectful, polite and professional.
Best wishes.
Helping Hands Home Care (Exeter) have been an absolute lifesaver. I lived over 200 miles away and was wholly reliant on Helping Hands Home Care to care for my mother after my father, who was her carer, passed away. Words are not sufficient for the outstanding service we received. They went above and beyond on countless occasions. I have no hesitation to recommend them to anyone.
Best wishes.
My Mother received excellent care, couldn’t have asked for better. All the girls who attended to my Mum were fantastic, extremely proficient and very professional. Mum was very well cared for from start until she passed away.
I'm really happy that you've taken the time to leave us this feedback, thank you so much. The girls that cared for your mum always spoke so highly of her and will miss popping in to see her. Wishing you and your family all the best.
We are very happy with the care/support provided by Helping Hands Home Care. The carer always arrives on time. Is always smart, polite, friendly and helpful.
This company provides an excellent service. All the carers sent to me were very caring, respectful and happy in their work. Despite the long hours they have to work. Also, they appear to be happy with their employers. The office is efficient, my calls are always answered thoroughly and any required action is completed without fuss.
I am delighted with the help I have received from Helping Hands. Everyone is very polite and I am treated with the utmost respect. The staff are very punctual and I look forward to seeing the ones who are treating me.
There have been occasions when visits have been time inconveniently but we feel you do this to meet my mother's requirements where possible. I would have awarded excellent for the staff but when new carers come they do not always follow the task list and in some cases have not even read it.
Very useful and helpful, will do anything asked of them. I have been lucky to be allocated the same lady for my twice-weekly visits and am hoping to keep her for the duration.
I am very happy with all the help I get from my carers. They are kind, thoughtful, willing, cheerful and always punctual.
I would highly recommend the services provided to anyone who cares for a loved one and needs that extra help when faced with future challenges.
Helping Hands have been amazing in setting up care for my elderly mother. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always sympathetic and understanding. The carers are all kind and considerate and it is a huge relief to know Mum is in safe hands.
Helping Hands Exeter really care about the people they look after. We have been so impressed with every step of this difficult process and nothing has been too much trouble. My elderly Mum is flourishing with their care. She's more energetic, cheerful, healthy and looks forward to every day. It means she can stay at home with us. Mum says that she doesn't have 'carers' but 'friends'. I highly recommend them.

Meet the Team (1)
About me
I want to ensure our customers know that Care is better at home with Helping Hands and we continually strive to improve this service of care. I have been with the Exeter team since its opening in July 2017.
I am a grandmother to 5 girls, so this generally takes up a lot of my spare time. I also like to travel, dine out, and am a huge 70's music fan.
Experience and expertise
Previously I was a registered childminder for 16 years until I came into the adult care sector in 2012 as a carer. I then progressed onto other roles such as Patch Senior, Field Care Supervisor, Care Coordinator, and Assistant Manager.
I have registered as the Care Manager with the CQC, and I have my NVQ 2 & 3 in Health & Social Care, NVQ 1 & 2 in Counselling, and NVQ 1 in Dementia Care.
Why I chose Helping Hands
I chose Helping Hands because of their values to support our customers in the community with empathy, compassion, and the belief we can make a difference. I would also like to inspire others to reach their aims and goals in life and I enjoy working with my team.
