I HIGHLY recommend HHC. A really fantastic agency with all the positives of being small /local and none of the disadvantages. The kind, committed carers took such trouble to identify and meet my Dad's needs and preferences, often going over and above, and adapting as those changed over a five year
period. What set them apart from other agencies I spoke to, was the continuity they gave by having a small team for my Dad, and always having a familiar carer introduce any new carer over a period of many double visits. They were flexible and responsive - eg when we suddenly needed more visits they were brilliant; they don't have a minimum hour long visit (as some do), and they allowed cancellation (without charge) at 24 hours' notice (again, I don't think that's usual). Plus they'd try - and usually succeed - in responding to last minute requests for extra visits. The highly professional office team helped me so much with their sensible advice and by being so reliable and supportive.

Havant Homecare are outstanding! Having been the sole carer for my father for many years allowing external carers to provide regular respite care was hard for both myself and my father who was living with mixed dementia. I need not have worried. Havant Homecare listens to the needs of the person being
cared for and the care giver to ensure what is required is fully understood by everyone. More importantly they match carers to the family. The carers were so good with my father and we both felt safe and happy- at a very challenging and scary time they became part of the family. The fact that the care team was limited to three was so important as it meant that Dad wasn't faced with lots of carers; they also came when we wanted. The care provided was second to none and when Dad had hospital admissions there was a follow up visit to ensure that the care provided was suitable. Basically, nothing was too much trouble, none more so than in Dad's final week; their care and support was amazing.

Havant Homecare have been providing long term daily visits to our Mum who has mobility issues. From day 1 their service has been professional, compassionate and caring, and has been delivered with a positive and light hearted touch that smooths things along. Mum gets to see many of the carers on their
team and has been extremely happy with everyone, and has formed some lovely friendships too.
Our family is extremely grateful for the standard of care that Mum receives and for the flexibility that the team offer whenever possible, and we would certainly recommend Havant Homecare to others.

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the wonderful team at Havant Home Care to anyone who needed dignified care in their own home setting.
They looked after our dear Mum in the last weeks and months of her life with compassion and dignity. But more than that, they looked after me
and my wife too. Their communication about all aspects of care was exemplary. No request was too much and all care was delivered with cheerful professionalism by a team brimming-over with natural charisma.
When Mum's health deteriorated the team visited her in hospital. They were honest with us when Mum's care needs exceeded their ability to deliver and recommended live-in carers. If Havant Homecare provided live-in care, we'd have stayed with them without a doubt. Even after handing over to another agency, Havant Homecare kept in touch and visited us and Mum.
It was Mum's wish that she would stay at home until the end of her life.
Mum died peacefully at home. Without Havant Homecare that would not have been possible.

Great service. Havant Homecare provided just the help we wanted at the time we wanted it.
Their staff were charming and looked after my partner at a time when she was vulnerable following a stroke.
Would recommend them to anyone.

From the first communication with Havant Homecare they were caring and helpful, then when we met with them they weren't pushy just gave us lots of information about what we could be entitled to, they let us tell them what we would like which was holiday cover they are so professional making sure they

We approached Havant Homecare for assistance with our elderly mother who had stopped wanting to get washed and dressed every day. From the very first call to the agency, we knew we had made the right choice. We were greeted with professionalism, courtesy and empathy. Our mum was assessed within days
and introduced to the lovely lady who would become her carer. Mum went from being opposed to having any assistance to looking forward to her carer's visits and developing a real bond with her. What started off as two visits per week soon became three and another lovely lady was introduced to cover the extra day. Unfortunately, circumstances changed which meant that Mum had to go into residential care. The help that Havant Homecare gave us in looking for the best place for Mum was second to none, they went above and beyond. As a family, we have received outstanding support and would not hesitate to recommend Havant Homecare.

Havant Homecare Ltd provide the best personal and practical care there is. All my carers who vary in age are empathetic and kind. I rate them as excellent. They have been caring for me for 4 years now, I cannot imagine any better care ever from anyone else.

We have used Havant Homecare Ltd for several years. They are not inexpensive, but we have experienced first-class service. The visiting staff are friendly, caring and proactive. Most importantly, when I contacted the management team, I received a quick, helpful, thoughtful reply with good advice. Their
feedback on my mother's situation via the staff has been very valuable in giving us warnings when we do need to intervene. They have never missed a visit. I would not hesitate to recomend them.

I part-care for my wife, who can no longer quite manage everything for herself. I had to unexpectedly go to hospital for an operation and was there for two weeks. We were at a loss to find a way to get appropriate support for my wife at short notice, but fortunately, we found Havant Homecare, who immediately
met our needs. Not only did they visit us out of hours to discuss the help we needed, but they were thoroughly friendly and professional throughout, quickly producing the necessary paperwork and scheduling care staff visits. At times our needs were changing almost by the day, and we were impressed by the flexibility shown by Havant Homecare. All their caring staff are properly trained and competent, and as well as being super friendly and considerate are fully aware of their boundaries. We found the whole experience of dealing with Havant Homecare absolutely ideal. You might find a better price, but I doubt you will find a better service. Excellent value, highly recommended!

Needed help to care for Mum after a couple of hospital visits. From the first contact, everybody involved has done exactly what they said they would do and more. The staff have been proactive, thoughtful, caring and encouraging. My mum feels confident and secure under their care and after only a short
time has developed a relationship with them, which has meant I am now so much more relaxed and no longer feel on constant ready-for-action mode. I get regular updates from them and I have no problem in highly recommending these professional ladies. They have been heaven-sent.

I contacted Havant Homecare after my dad came out of hospital in January to provide care for my dad. The whole experience was fantastic, the care provided was excellent, the small team who came in to help wash and dress my dad were gentle, kind, attentive, listened to my dad’s stories and took care
of all his needs, doing anything he asked of them. I highly recommend anyone who needs care at home for their parents to use these care providers - they are so professional and most importantly genuine. They kept in touch with me even after my dad was taken ill and unfortunately had to go into a care home.

I have found them to be a very caring, efficient company who have always made my wishes their first consideration. Of the three carers I have, I always know who will be coming next and they are never late. They are a lovely friendly lot of carers to whom nothing is too much trouble and I totally trust
them. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs expert care.

We are delighted with the care we receive. Staff are sensitive to our needs and treat my wife with dignity and respect. Staff are vigilant and responsive to the circumstances they find when they arrive. We receive two carers three times a day and they provide a service that contributes to our quality
