My family has found Bluebird Care very helpful and reliable in caring for our mother over the last 8 months. They are flexible and responsive to requests and carry out their tasks efficiently. Their support has been essential during the pandemic. Mum especially values the friendliness of her carers as the social aspect of the visits is particularly important at the current time of restrictions.
She was ably supported by the local team, one of whom visited three times each day to help with his personal care. They were always cheerful, kind and unhurried – despite the demands of their schedule and the extra incumbrance of operating in PPE. Just days before he died, Dad told one of my cousins how much he appreciated being at home able to look out on his garden and how he was enjoying all the care and attention he was getting. What more can I say?
My dad has been looked after by Bluebird staff for a couple of years now and I have always been very happy with their service. I would happily recommend Bluebird to anyone else. They initially came to help us out in an emergency and have stayed ever since.
Bluebird Care South Somerset looked after my terminally ill wife for quite a few weeks. They came three times a day to look after her hygiene etc and I could not fault them. They were very caring, professional and went out of their way to make sure she was as comfortable as possible.
I have had care from Bluebird Care South Somerset for at least 2 years now and my experience has been positive. The fact that they may be a little late sometimes is probably another index of the popularity of the service they offer.
I feel this is a good service and allows me to remain living at home. They do a good job. I have no complaints. I would like to thank all the staff at Bluebird Care. This company is a real need for me to remain at home. Bluebird Care has organised the company and carers very well during Covid-19
My parents were in a crisis, and I contacted Bluebird, and almost immediately my stress levels were reduced by the reassurance, professionalism and care by the management of our family's situation. Care was in place on the day I was told it would be, and the carer is truly amazing. I no longer worry about what is happening at my parent's home when I am not with them. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to Bluebird.
A professional caring agency that I would happily recommend. We have a small team of carers that are all very supportive to provide the best care possible. They are obviously well supported by an admin/management team as all goes smoothly!!
Very alert to any changes in their client's health and keeping me updated, thoroughly recommended.
Would do there utmost to keep Mum's care as a light-hearted but professional affair. She was treated as a person, not an object.
All dates and times emailed through same time every week, so never confused. Invoices detailed and correct never had a fault with the office part either.
Bluebird provided care for my mum from March until her death. The care was superb and in the last month of her life, when we needed 4 visits a day at short notice to enable her to die at home after a hospital admission, they were able to respond to the request at a days notice. All the carers were compassionate and professional showing concern not just for my mum but the family as a whole. We are continuing to use Bluebird to provide domestic support to my dad. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
My care has been amazing. I have serious mobility problems with my legs so need a wheelchair. The owner of Bluebird helped make arrangements for the stairlift in my house so I could stay at home. The staff have all been lovely too, making tea and my dinner and helping me in and out of the bath. Very nice ladies. Thank you.
Care staff are kind and they all look after us both. Visits are cheery and we all have a sense of humour. Very much needed in the circumstances.
Following a fall whilst on holiday in Somerset, I was admitted to Yeovil hospital with multiple fractures. After surgery and 2 weeks stay in hospital, I was discharged but unable to walk or travel. My husband found tempoary accommodation and arranged for Blue Bird South Somerset to look after me. For the next 10 weeks I could not have had better care. The girls were very reliable and clearly knew what they were doing. Friendly, kind and really encouraging, the team helped me to get through a very difficult time with my dignity intact and I remain grateful to them. We are now back home in Staffordshire and I am well on the way to a full recovery.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made our mother's friend's final days easier. One of your strengths is your flexibility - this made such a difference. The other big strength is your carers, they are amazing women. We are particularly grateful to the carers that stepped in overnight. We will recommend you to everyone from now on. Thank you again.
