Overall Experience
We use BooCare's Companionship Service and I would thoroughly recommend it.
Mum, who is now almost 100 years old came to live with us last year when she could no longer look after herself.
I am happy to care for her, but with this responsibility comes difficulties; my husband and I can pursue our activities and interests independently (leaving one of us at home to look after mum), but going out together has been impossible.

Then I was recently recommended to BooCare by a friend and we are now able to go out for meals and spend time together knowing that mum is safe, happy and in good hands; (mum also loves having someone new to natter to). Five star, fantastic service, thank you so much. BooCare

Overall Experience

I am very impressed with the level of service. I have used them to care for my wife who is bed ridden. I have never had any issue getting cover even its its short notice. The nurses are always on time and very friendly. I would thoroughly recommend their services to any other client

Overall Experience
We utilised BooCare to look after other our elderly mother after she had an accident and subsequent surgery. The staff at BooCare from initial consultation through to the visiting carers were excellent. Our mother enjoyed their company and benefited from the care and support that they provided, which enabled her to recover at home.

We are confident that when needed BooCare are able to provide the support that will enable our mother to continue living an independent life in her own home.

Overall Experience

BooCare have been providing domestic carers twice a week for my mother who is nearly 90 years old, lives on her own and is severely impaired. Their Initial assessment was friendly and thorough and the 3 carers who have visited have been very helpful, caring, approachable and punctual. They understand that she needs some practical help but also the importance of a friendly visitor she can chat to. BooCare communicate well and I can cancel or rearrange a visit if I need to. My mother is building valuable relationships with her small team of carers and I have no doubt that when the time comes and my mum needs more care BooCare will be there for us.

Overall Experience

The staff are so kind and friendly with my Mum, I would be lost without their care as I live so far away. Mum clearly enjoys their company and chats with them despite the effects of the stroke on her speech and language. I am able to contact the office with any changes to Mum's care from her GP and if I need to remind Mum of any changes to her diary. Mum has had two strokes one of which has affected her short term memory so she constantly needs reminding of visits, dates, etc. It is such a relief for me that the carers visit twice a day to check on her so I know Mum is doing okay and if there is an issue they will contact me straightaway. I would recommend this company to anyone who wishes to have a loved one looked after in a caring and kind manner.

Overall Experience

Boocare provide a reliable, safe, professional and friendly service. My mother is housebound and has a number of medical challenges including dementia. Boocare are excellent. When there are emergencies they are calm, organised and very supportive. They ensure my mother is safe and comfortable. They are always there for my many and varied queries, and respond patiently and are extremely helpful. A trusted and caring group of professionals.

Overall Experience

Following a recent stay in hospital nothing is too much trouble, their support has been a great asset. I am always able to speak management to update any changes to medication etc. The app gives me great peace of mind as I don't live close enough to my Mother to pop in everyday. It alerts me to anything that Mum might need along with being able to keep a check on her general wellbeing. All of the staff treat Mum with dignity and respect and she enjoys their visits. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

BooCare have been a lifesaver! Living miles away from our Nan, their app and updates give us peace of mind and alert us to any issues. Communication has been great and everyone we have met or spoken to have been very friendly and welcoming.

Overall Experience

BooCare has helped me for two months, initially morning and evening but more recently, just mornings. All the staff arrive on time, were very helpful and caring and a joy to talk to and importantly, had lovely senses of humour. If anyone asked, I would have no hesitation in recommending BooCare. I feel they have sped up my recovery.

Following the first meeting with BooCare, I felt my care needs were fully understood and an appropriate care plan was put in place.
I have found all carers to be respectful, reliable, with good timekeeping. All carers carried out their tasks to a high standard.

Overall Experience
The care package was set up by my son with the help of the owner while I was in hospital with a broken shoulder and cracked hip. Her guidance was excellent. Initially, I had a carer early morning and evening until I was able to use my arm and then I just had morning care to assist with showering, dressing, and kitchen and laundry.
All the staff were like family, friendly, and very helpful, and got my confidence back after my accident.
My son agrees with me, an excellent company, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Sally Tripp Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2015
Sally Tripp
Sally has worked in the Health and Social Care sector for over 30 years. She started her career in social care working in Domiciliary Care, residential care homes and Nursing Homes.

She later went on to train as a nurse where she worked in the Acute Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Community Services.

Having advanced to a senior position in District Nursing she went on to specialise as Tissue Viability Nurse Consultant, an area in which she still works. Sally is the Registered Manager here at BooCare and oversees all aspects of care delivered.

Rebecca Irving Job Title: Office Manager Joined: 2015
Rebecca Irving
Rebecca manages the day to day running of the office and is the primary contact for Service User enquiries.

Her role includes managing the HR and Finances of the company, maintaining our corporate social responsibilities within every aspect of our business operations, Managing our Quality Assurance alongside managing the day to day logistics.
