Overall Experience

All the staff are very professional and also very kind, you can see they know what to do. They are always on time and give care in an excellent way. Have contacted the GP if felt necessary.

Overall Experience

Boocare recruits carefully and then supports and trains their staff well. They are careful to limit their overall workload. The ladies that visited my mother helped with personal care, cooked and served meals and carried out other domestic tasks. They were cheerful, helpful, caring and practical. As a daughter, I was reassured that my mother was in good hands. We were both thrilled with their carol singers too!

Overall Experience

BooCare has been caring for my mum for over two years. They enable mum to be able to live in her own home as she has mild dementia and heart problems. As I live in Kent it is such a relief for me to know that mum is being cared for. The carers are all lovely people and make sure mum is well cared for. This has been so important over this difficult time when I haven’t been able to visit mum, if it wasn’t for BooCare mum would be so lonely, in fact, she would not have been able to cope.

We cannot thank BooCare enough for their professionalism, their compassion, their reliability and most of all their flexibility.
It was a hard decision for my in-laws to accept that they needed help, we couldn't have chosen a better company with nicer staff to help us.
They have put my in-laws at ease and as a family, we know that they are being well looked after.
BooCare have been flexible and have always worked with us when care needs have changed.

During the pandemic they have worked hard to keep everyone safe, we would highly recommend them.

BooCare have been caring for my mom for 2 years now. The service is first class, mainly due to mom's usual carer, she is outstanding, punctual, efficient and her approach to my mom is as though she is a true friend. She is attentive, thorough and exceptionally clean and tidy.

Overall the care mum has received from BooCare has been excellent - she is treated with respect and dignity. The carers are really engaged in mum as an individual, talking about family, gardening, as well as caring for her. I would highly recommend, they have never let us down and management are easy to contact and talk to. We have been using them for a year.

Overall Experience
BooCare provides the care and support, which my father never realised he needed; and provide peace of mind for me when I'm not there. Their team of Carers are brilliant - a great range of characters who bring a positive bookend to my father's day (his words, not mine). They all treat him as a real person and not as a patient or name on a rota. I was impressed to see how they all take time to get to know him for who he is, and common themes and conversations occur as a result (which my father really appreciates).

I also was impressed by how the management actively participate in the care rota - as they believe it is important to regularly see all their clients. Another differentiating aspect of BooCare is that the appointments are agreed time windows, as opposed to windows of time - in that 7:15am means they aim to arrive exactly then and not 'sometime within that hour.' A caring company, who really care.

BooCare helped with respite care for my Mum. All the girls were helpful and professional, communication was excellent, they treated Mum with dignity and respect. Despite her dementia, they encouraged Mum to make choices, they helped care for her at her terminal stage and supported us to keep her at home where she wanted to be.

I really like BooCare. Each member of the company are very respectful and kind. They seem to know exactly how I feel and respond accordingly. This is a wonderful empathetic trait which I have not seen in previous carers.

They come in and know exactly what to do and ask hardly any questions which for me is great. I struggle cognitively at times.

Sally Tripp Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2015
Sally Tripp
Sally has worked in the Health and Social Care sector for over 30 years. She started her career in social care working in Domiciliary Care, residential care homes and Nursing Homes.

She later went on to train as a nurse where she worked in the Acute Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Community Services.

Having advanced to a senior position in District Nursing she went on to specialise as Tissue Viability Nurse Consultant, an area in which she still works. Sally is the Registered Manager here at BooCare and oversees all aspects of care delivered.

Rebecca Irving Job Title: Office Manager Joined: 2015
Rebecca Irving
Rebecca manages the day to day running of the office and is the primary contact for Service User enquiries.

Her role includes managing the HR and Finances of the company, maintaining our corporate social responsibilities within every aspect of our business operations, Managing our Quality Assurance alongside managing the day to day logistics.
