It's heart warming to hear how they not only met her needs but also built such a warm connection with her through their conversations and companionship. It's wonderful to know that their compassion and attentiveness encouraged her to make her own choices, helping her feel supported and valued. She was a special lady and the care team loved her. We also want to express our heartfelt thanks for the thoughtful gifts you brought into the office when she went into the care home. It was truly appreciated by the entire team. We know we weren't always able to provide the exact visit times you wanted, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding. While we aim to offer the most suitable times for every client, we recognise this isn't always achievable. It was an absolute privilege to be part of her life, and we're grateful for the opportunity to make a positive difference.

We believe we have two sets of clients, the people we deliver care and support to in a practical way and the families around them. We know being able to step away and spend time in the "normal" role is invaluable so anything we can do to enable that to happen is a key part of what we do as a team.

We work hard at balancing out offering a service that is value for money and paying the care team salaries based on their shifts rather than the industry norm as well as allowing them travel time and mileage expenses. Other ways we try to balance our costs is by working as a small office team and we are sorry that on occasions this has led to us falling short of your expectations.

We know it's a big step, for many reasons, to make that move from domiciliary care to live-in care, but we believe the value of 1:1 support in your own home and local environment outweighs any obstacles.
