I cannot fault the team at Sarah's Carers. My terminally ill father was discharged from the hospital on a Friday afternoon with no care in place. Following a request from me for some immediate help, Sarah's Carers went out of their way to help. Over a very short period of time, my dad went from one
visit a day to two, then three, and within a week, having a live-in carer in addition to the 3-times daily visits. Without exception, the carers have been kind, professional, gentle and caring and have looked after Dad exceptionally well. Dad was very ill after his hospital stay but regained some of his sparkles, and enjoyed the care and companionship provided by Sarah's Carers team. The office-based team also went above and beyond by advising me on funding for Dad's care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any family member looking for care for their loved one.

We asked Sarah's Carers to change from domiciliary care to live-in care for my elderly mother. We are absolutely delighted with the lady who has moved in. She has made a huge difference, taking Mum out for walks, chatting to her and giving her her social sparkle back. We couldn't be happier with the
service provided.
Reply from Sarah Seaman, Registered Manager at Sarah's CarersWe know it's a big step, for many reasons, to make that move from domiciliary care to live-in care, but we believe the value of 1:1 support in your own home and local environment outweighs any obstacles. Thank you for sharing your experience, as this will help others take that step. We are very pleased as a team that your Mother is thriving with her new support. Due to the years of helping your Mother every day, we had a good idea of who in our live-in care team would work well, so we are especially happy she helps give your Mum her social sparkle back. Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback.

We are delighted with the care provided by Sarah's Carers. The carers are very professional, prompt and thorough, but also extremely empathetic. The care app keeps me informed, as my mother lives some way from me, but it is always reassuring to have feedback and any potential issues flagged. The support
provided by the carers has been invaluable.
Reply from Sarah Seaman, Registered Manager at Sarah's CarersThank you for your feedback, which I will pass on to the care team. We are very pleased to have made a difference to your Mother and be providing peace of mind for yourself. The app is proving an invaluable tool for many families in a similar situation and definitely helps with communication threads in real-time. Thank you for taking the time to give us the feedback; it is much appreciated. Kind Regards.

Have been using Sarah's Carers since 25th June to attend to my partner. To be honest with you, I would be lost without them. They are friendly and efficient, and nothing is ever too much trouble. It's just nice to see a friendly face in the mornings. A big help getting my partner up, showered and dressed,
which makes her feel so much better each morning.
Reply from Sarah Seaman, Registered Manager at Sarah's CarersThank you very much for your feedback. I know the team enjoy being able to help both of you and to be making such a difference. I will pass on your feedback, and thank you very much for taking the time to let us know it is very much appreciated. Best wishes.

Sarah's Carers are a company that I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending. For anyone who has a friend, relative or spouse who requires expert professional help and care.
The ladies who have attended our home are first class and have cared for my wife for six months with beneficial results.
Unquestionably outstanding.

The care my husband receives is excellent. Being a nurse lead group they have skin integrity at the top of their list, they listen to my husband’s needs and care for him accordingly. There is no rushing and if they go over the time they still make sure that everything is right. It has helped me tremendously
over the past six years as they are here for me as well and I am safe in the knowledge that my husband is being looked after well, they are part of our family. I would highly recommend the company to anyone needing support for help around the house, company, and of course, personal care of which I can say has been much better than companies we used before having Sarah’s Carers.
Reply from Sarah Seaman, Registered Manager at Sarah's CarersThank you very much for your comments and where has that six years gone. It has been a pleasure to help both of you through many life events and you have shared in some of our challenges when your support has been much appreciated. I know we all feel a strong bond with both of you. Best wishes, Sarah.

I was personally recommended Sarah's Carers by a neighbour of my father as care was required and fairly quickly as my father is registered blind and has dementia. From the first phone call into the office to the manager who then visited and set-up the care package, to the carrying out of the care all
has gone smoothly. Now after 12 months I can say that the team have provided a very good and caring service. They do seem a very caring team, all are friendly and knowledgeable. They have also offered sensible advice. I have never had to deal with a person with the conditions that my father has but the team has and it comes through that they know what they are doing time and time again. Thank you. The team use an app that is updated after every visit and I can read how my father is and it is also used for messages for myself and it works both ways, I can also add messages myself which has proved very useful. I have no hesitation in recommending Sarah's Carers.
Reply from Sarah Seaman, Registered Manager at Sarah's CarersThank you for your feedback, Martyn, and I have passed your comments on to the care team. I am pleased that you find the Family App beneficial, it is proving very useful for families to not only read what the care team have written but also, as you mention for sending us messages. Kind Regards.

Sarah's Carers have provided personal care for my 99-year-old mother for more than three years, enabling her to continue to live independently in her own home. Without exception, every carer provides a professional, reliable and cheerful service. As a family, we appreciate the peace of mind we have
knowing Sarah's Carers will visit every morning.
Reply from Sarah Seaman, Registered Manager at Sarah's CarersDear Sue, thank you on behalf of the team for your kind comments. They will all be pleased to know that their visits help give the whole family peace of mind. Your Mother's ability to retain her independence is very important to them. Kind regards, Sarah.

I have been receiving care from Sarah’s Carers for a number of years and during this time I’ve had no reason to complain about the care that I receive. Every carer performed their duties in a very professional manner, always maintaining very high standards. They are reliable, trustworthy and considerate
of individual's needs which gives me a great deal of reassurance. During the COVID pandemic, they have adhered to the guidelines exactly, using PPE at all times, making sure that the clients are protected and of course, themselves.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Sarah’s Carers, each and every one of the carers I meet are kind, understanding, nothing is too much trouble. A thoroughly excellent organisation.
Reply from Sarah Seaman, Registered Manager at Sarah's CarersThank you, Richard, for your feedback. It has always been a pleasure to help you and we have shared many a laugh (I am smiling right now remembering one particular story) and I still value the constructive comments and support you gave in the early days of Sarah's Carers. I remember well the real concern you had about receiving care to start with so it's good to know the team have helped overcome that and made a difference. I was also grateful for the interest you took when you knew life was a struggle for me on a personal basis. Not the average client/business relationship but based on mutual respect. You still appear on most of our marketing material so that's another thanks from us. Best wishes, Sarah.

  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 18 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.860 for Sarah's Carers is calculated as follows: ( (96 Excellents x 5) + (7 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 107 Ratings = 4.86
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.5 Points for the second and third Positive Reviews, 0.25 Points for each of the next two Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.05, 7th = 0.05, 8th = 0.05, 9th = 0.05, 10th = 0.05, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025)

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Sarah's Carers is based on 18 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4.95
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
