We engaged the services of Sarah's carers a few years ago to help with my mother's personal care needs. From the outset through to my mothers passing away these carers were exceptional. The carried out their duties with great respect for the client. But, not only that they afforded her the time to chat during their visits. This to us, as a family, was as important as anything else. They manage to achieve what the company's name implies- CARE.
Sarah's Carers provided support for my 93 year old mother for 45 minutes/one hour daily from mid May 2025 to late August 2025, when she was at home recovering from an emergency hip operation. All the staff involved were excellent. They were professional in every way, patient, thoughtful, and kind, good at developing a rapport with my mother. She was very appreciative, and I also had direct observation of their professionalism when I was with my mother during this time. I would recommend Sarah's Carers.
A wonderful service by professional carers, will not hesitate to recommend and definitely use again. Mum was a little apprehensive but was so happy with her care, the carers all went over and above what we had expected.
Excellent service with caring from all the girls and management. We will be happy to recommend to others who need the service in the area and will use again ourselves when in the future it is needed.
Good Evening, Thank you very much for taking the time to complete a review and your kind comments. We have always been determined to grow by word of mouth, to prove we can be different so feedback means a lot to the team. We are very pleased we were able to help and you had a great time away.Best wishesSarah
After a fall I broke my wrist and I was in plaster for 6 weeks. During that time I could do very little for myself and especially as I live alone I needed help. So.....Sarah's Carers came to the rescue! I had a carer 5 mornings a week to help with personal care for 6 weeks. Without exception all the carers I had were lovely. They were cheerful, efficient, nothing was too much trouble. We had many laughs and shared lots of stories so they not only helped with my personal care but they helped with my mental health during that time. I really could not have managed without them and very much looked forward to their visits and I miss them now I am better! I am sure that their helpfulness and kindness had a big effect on my recovery. I cannot praise Sarah's Carers more highly and would recommended them highly.
Sarah's Carers supported Dad with morning and evening visits in his last few weeks before he sadly passed away. Dad's needs changed very quickly and Mum couldn't manage things on her own. Fortunately Sarah's Carers were able to put the necessary support in place quickly and efficiently. Communication was very good and the visit notes shared on the App were very useful. The carers themselves were friendly, capable and reliable and we couldn't have managed without them.
Thank you Susie for taking the time to give us a review and your kind words I will pass your comments onto the team. We were pleased to be able to help and make a difference at such a challenging time and sad time for your family.
The team at Sarah's Carers cared for my Dad, in our home, for the last 6 months of his life. Initially, a team of 2-carers a day helped Dad with basic tasks, provided company, made him snacks, etc. As time progressed, 2 carers visited 3x daily to provide advanced care and in the final month, a live-in carer supported Dad and us, in our home. The carers we worked with provided an exceptional level of care to Dad and went above and beyond in their support of him and us. I would recommend them to anyone.
Thank you so much for your kind words and we were all very pleased we could contribute and make a difference to your family at such a difficult time.
All of the staff at Sarah's Carers who helped mum were wonderful. Mum had complex needs due to her pain levels and the carers were always very gentle, patient and supportive. They treated mum with dignity and respect. Two members of staff in particular were very kind to mum and also to me when I needed some emotional support during difficult times. I highly recommend them.
Thank you very much for taking the time to give us feedback it is very much appreciated. It is always a challenging time for family members when care at home is required, especially when a loved one has complex needs. We are very pleased that the team was able to make a difference to both of you and I will pass your thanks on. Best wishes.
They were friendly and over the four years of visiting her became great friends with her.
Sometimes the visit times were not the most appropriate but mostly they were acceptable.
The carers had compassion for her needs and encouraged her to make informed choices regarding meal choices and clothing.
In general a very good set of carers with some better than others.
Thank you for your kind words about the Care Practitioners who supported your aunt over the past four years. It's heart warming to hear how they not only met her needs but also built such a warm connection with her through their conversations and companionship. It's wonderful to know that their...
When we were in dire need of help at very short notice Sarah's Carers came to the rescue and we could not be more grateful. They found a delightful night carer for us who went above and beyond to ensure our father's final days were as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much.
Thank for taking the time to give us this feedback at such a difficult time for you and all the family, it is much appreciated and we are all pleased we could provide the support and make the difference. I will pass your thanks on to the team and in particular C.
We have employed Sarah's Carers for almost one year, during which they have supplied us with a number of live-in carers to look after our formerly super-fit and alert 94-year-old mother. She suffered a serious stroke last year, leaving her with significantly reduced mobility and cognitive capacity. All the carers have been kind, caring and professional and some highly entertaining and truly outstanding, providing such companionship as to almost become members of the family! The support provided by the owner and her support staff has been exemplary, and we have had full confidence throughout the entire time. Our mother's recovery has substantially exceeded expectations and even now we still see further improvements in her overall condition. The kindness and encouragement shown by the carers have undoubtedly been a major positive influence. We would recommend Sarah's Carers to anyone who needs such support. They go that extra mile and then some! Thank you all at Sarah's Carers.
Thank you very much for your lovely feedback, we do take our responsibilities very seriously and we are very pleased we have contributed in such a positive way to your mother's recovery. It has been a pleasure to observe the changes in her since she had the 1:1 support. I will share your feedback with all of the team involved in her care and support.
The whole set-up from the beginning, caring to do the care is exceptional. The office staff are so attentive and helpful. The girls that come to Dad are kind, caring, respectful, compassionate, punctual, polite and nothing is any problem. The communication app is fantastic for them and me. I can only praise all of 'Sarah's Carers'. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words, I will make sure the team know. You have very nicely summed up the values which are so important to us.
Sarah’s Carers were brilliant in dealing with her, ensuring the correct medication was taken at the right time together with ensuring she was eating and drinking as she should.
The carers were skilful at changing subjects of discussion and steering her thoughts away from negative things. Always thinking about her immediate needs and letting family know of any concerns.
Thank you for the feedback and I will pass it on to the team. It was a pleasure to support all of you over the last few years and we wish her well in her new home. We hope it gives you peace of mind.
From the start I have been incredibly impressed at their professionalism, efficiency, knowledge, patience, reassurance, care and compassion, and above all what I would call person-centred care. All they do is focus on me and my needs and they are also working alongside District Nurses 2 days a week, with the District Nurses being consistently impressed at the level of complementary care and support that the carers provide, resulting in a service that makes me feel reassured and fully supported.
There have been a couple of unexpected medical incidents recently associated with my illness and they have responded well above the ‘call of duty’ with calmness and efficiency in dealing with them. I am extremely grateful for their ability, therefore, to work and respond so well under pressure.
I cannot thank the service enough as it has made a real difference to my sense of well-being. Most commendable.
Thank you so much for taking the time to give us your feedback, it is exactly what we strive to achieve. I will pass on your comments to the team as so very often they do not realise how good they are. I am very pleased to read that the service has made such a difference to your sense of...
We can’t fault the professional way the office team deal with every eventuality (and there have been plenty!) or the wonderful carers who come in to care for Dad and would recommend Sarah’s Carers to anyone.
Thank you for your time in giving us this feedback, we are very grateful and I will pass it on to the team. We understand that this is a very challenging time for all of you and are very pleased that we can continue to help and provide some support to make everything a little easier. Being a carer...
We find a vast majority of the carers most professional and excellent at their job. At times they seem to be let down by the office staff. Whilst being quite expensive generally they are reasonable value for money.
Thank you for taking the time to give us our feedback, every comment is valuable to us as we continue to review and improve all our processes. We work hard at balancing out offering a service that is value for money and paying the care team salaries based on their shifts rather than the industry...
In all that time their staff have treated my wife with respect, care, kindness, dignity, and affection, giving her many happy moments and thereby giving me the time to be a husband and not a carer.
Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback, it is much appreciated by all of the team. We believe we have two sets of clients, the people we deliver care and support to in a practical way and the families around them. We know being able to step away and spend time in the "normal" role is invaluable so anything we can do to enable that to happen is a key part of what we do as a team.
Sarah's Carers provide a carer each morning to help get my wife out of bed, washed and dressed. Until recently they came for an hour from 10:30 – but this week, following my six-month review, I agreed to increase this by half an hour each day to allow more time and to reduce stress for my wife, who has Alzheimer's Disease. The carers are all excellent and I can't praise them highly enough. There is one carer in particular, who has developed a good rapport with my wife and explains everything to her and why the actions are necessary. She has acted as a mentor to her colleagues to help them deal with my wife if she is having a bad day.
Thank you for your comments and I know the team is very dedicated to supporting both of you and finding the best way to support your wife. It's a challenging time for all of you and this is very much a team effort whether the care team or the office team. I will pass on your comments to all of them and thank you for taking the time to give us this feedback it is much appreciated. Best wishes.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all you have done for my parents over the last few months. Mum and Dad absolutely loved your wonderful, caring and efficient staff enormously and looked forward to their visits.
Thank you for your feedback; it is very much appreciated, and I will pass your comments on to the pink team. I know they got great satisfaction from being able to help both of your parents.
However, from the moment of meeting the manager and subsequently the team of absolutely amazing and wonderful carers, I was given dignity, sensitivity and encouragement, all with a good dose of humour, patience and such warmth and friendliness.
Their care for me was exemplary, and I cannot praise them highly enough.
I would recommend them beyond measure to anyone who was concerned about securing good and trustworthy carers.
You wouldn't get better!
