Overall Experience

This company is excellent in every way - the office staff are excellent - efficient, caring, understanding and friendly. All their carers are top class and could not be improved on. I am so grateful that they were recommended to me, and I would certainly recommend them to anyone needing the wonderful service they supply.

Overall Experience

We tried a number of home carers, and the only one we were very happy with was this one. We tried others, but they were all unsatisfactory, and we had to terminate using them and find someone else. Happily, Caremark came recommended, and they helped us for over three and half years. They were very professional and gave lots of support and advice to the family.
They never let us down on calls, even through the Covid issues and became a company for which we could rely on and know all was well. They were easy to contact, and any problems that did arise, they were there to help us solve them. I don't know what we would have done without their reliability and help.

The only reason that we have stopped using them is the fact that my father-in-law had deteriorated over time and has had to be transferred to a permanent residence in a nursing home.

Overall Experience

Caremark helped our family care for our loved one at home, we would never have been able to do this without them. They helped all of us, not just the client. Their support, kindness and care was invaluable.
Before we found Caremark we had experienced a few different companies providing care. Their standards were poor, sometimes they wouldn't turn up for visits, with no prior warning, the office would not answer calls, this was added and avoidable stress.

Caremark always attended every visit promptly and were extremely attentive to the care they were providing. Their high standards of care were always delivered with the client's dignity in mind too. I have recommended this company to friends and believe this is one of the best caregiving companies out there.

The service that my mother receives is excellent.
The carers bond with my mother and treat her with respect as an individual.
The service is tailored to her needs.
Caremark are very reliable and communicate with me regularly.

All members of this new team are kind, competent, flexible and interesting and interested.

I have never employed 'home care' before so I couldn't compare but I do know that I shall never ask anyone else when I need one in the future.

After qualifying as an Occupational Therapist, I have worked with a variety of client groups including, working age adults and older adults within the area of acute mental health.
As an Occupational Therapist, I take a holistic approach to both mental and physical well being, with an emphasis on promoting independence, and enabling and empowering individuals to achieve their full potential, whilst respecting their values, dignity and freedom of choice at all times.
I am passionate about being able to provide the highest standards of professional domiciliary care to our vibrant community of Brighton and Hove, enabling individuals who choose to remain living independently in their own homes.

I started with a degree in psychology which led a to a career looking after children with learning difficulties and severe autism. This then progressed to working for many years with the over 65s who had mental health issues particularly specialising in supporting people who had dementia as well as supporting and advising their families. There were lots of facets to my job but the part that I enjoyed most was helping them to remain at home when they so wished by assessing their personal needs and arranging for suitable support to be put in place to enable that to happen. This has left me with a passion and desire to see that people who wish to be cared for and supported to continue to live in their own homes are enabled to do so with competent caring staff who are able to ensure that everyone is looked after as an individual.

Caremark as a company offers to ensure that those people who wish to stay in their own homes get to do this by being looked after by caring, competent, well-trained staff and I am proud to be the managing director of the Brighton & Hove branch along with Anita. Read less
