I just wanted those of you who are looking for home cares to know just how good CHOICES HOMECARE are.
My wife had to go into care whilst I was in hospital, following this it was decided that we needed care for my wife, simply because I was no longer well enough to give her the care she needs,
Choices Homecare was recommended to us by the care home my wife was in, and also by the Social Services,
They have been caring for my wife 3/4 per day since the end of MAY 2025, and are still doing so, my wife has terminal cancer plus a incontinence problem and also a stoma, she has been confined to bed for a few years now
She is washed daily, clothing/underware/bedding all changed as and when required, sometimes more than once a day,
At first their fee's were met by S/S, we now have to pay for their services, but don't care, they are worth every penny
Thank you for submitting your kind comments, we are so pleased that you find the care and attention received from our care workers 'second to none' and that you are happy with the support your wife receives from them. Your feedback will be passed on to the members of staff who attend your wife,...
Happy with my husband's care.
We are really pleased that you are happy with the care your husband receives from us. Thank you for taking the time to review us and for your kind comments!
The carers are very understanding of my mum's needs. They are friendly and provide much needed company for her. They have really supported us and our needs for Mum including supporting Mum to eat regularly. They have taken things slowly and added to her care needs when she was ready to accept more help and support. There is always a manager at the end of the phone 7 days a week which is very reassuring and the app allows us added reassurance as we can monitor what is happening and how Mum is on a daily basis even if we cannot be there in person ourselves.
Thank you for taking the time to review us, we really appreciate all feedback as it helps us when planning future services. We are so pleased you are happy with the service provided and find the app reassuring. Thanks again for the kind comments received.
The service is just acceptable, but things need to be improved, such as shaving and overly using products, which impacts me having to shop more frequently.
Thanks for taking the time to submit your review, we really appreciate all feedback received (both positive & negative) to assist us in making future improvements. We have since been in touch to discuss your comments and have asked our care workers to try and be more economical when using products....
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a review; I am so pleased to hear that our staff are very supportive and that you are finding the level of care so helpful. I shall be sure to pass your kind words on to the team. Thank you, it means a lot to everyone on the team to get positive feedback like this.

Hello, my name is Jenny Roberts and I am the Deputy Manager here at Choices Homecare, in Oldham. I have worked in the social sector for 30 years. I started my career as an apprentice on a YTS scheme and after 6 months I was employed by Oldham council in the elderly residential/short stay services, I then moved to the learning disability team where I worked for 15 years supporting clients with all aspects of care and daily living, after this, I was employed on the emergency response team with OMBC until taking redundancy in 2011. I then started working for Safe Hands Support (now Choices Homecare) in April 2011, as a Support Worker and I have worked my way from Support Worker to Care Coordinator, then Office Manager and now to my present-day position of Deputy Manager.
Hello, my name is Angela, I am a Care Coordinator for Safehands Support, I have been a coordinator for 6 years but previous to this I was working in the community supporting vulnerable adults to live independently and working alongside other agencies. I also supported vulnerable adults who had suffered from drug and alcohol abuse. I came to work at Safe Hands Support (now Choices Homecare), as I wanted to gain more experience and knowledge working with elderly people.
