Overall Experience

Josel is the main carer for our mum - we can't rate her highly enough, she is truly wonderful. She is respectful, caring and constantly communicates with the family. Nikki is our second carer who is also fantastic with mum, she is positive and enthusiastic. The office team are very responsive and kind, even visiting mum when she was in hospital. They all provide outstanding care and support. It's a great comfort to know that mum is in good hands.

We are extremely satisfied with the service provided. We have found Expectation Care to be very responsive to any queries or changes, and any issues have been promptly dealt with. Always friendly and reliable, the carers display genuine care of service user. Care is very personalised. One area we feel may be improved upon is the handover of information between carers; on occasion, details have not been passed on, and there has at times been a little confusion. This possibly could be avoided by a detailed care plan in the house.

Susan has had such kind and thoughtful care from her two live in carers. They have made her life so enjoyable despite her being confined to bed. The care given by the carers attending for personal care has been very good.

Overall Experience

This is the second time I have used Expectation Care following cataract operations. Again, the carers came on time, were very friendly and did all the household tasks which involved bending over for two weeks.

Overall Experience

The carers have been and still are wonderful. They are reliable and always turn up at or close to their due time. They care well for my husband and will always draw my attention to any change in his condition, however slight. I cannot fault them. They are pleasant to have around and always have a smile.

Expectation Care carers supported my mum from March until September this year, when sadly she was hospitalised and subsequently passed away. The carers were always totally reliable, kind, friendly and flexible in meeting her needs on a day to day basis. The company provided consistency in that the same carers came on the same day each week, which meant that mum could get to know them well. When the hospital were initially looking to discharge mum at very short notice, the Care Manager was very supportive and quick to offer a new assessment of mum's needs, and reassured me that extra care to support would be immediately available when she came out. Sadly this was then not needed, but I was extremely grateful to Expectation Care for giving me support at a very stressful and difficult time.

I would thoroughly recommend Expectation Care.

Very good all round, from the friendliness and helpfulness of all the carers to their punctuality and flexibility.
Also very good at updating key contact and helping to sort out minor issues.

The whole family, including my mother, has been more than happy with the standard of care she has received since Expectation Care began their visits.

Overall Experience
Excellent service from coordinator, who was very flexible when I needed last minute care, and again when I had to change arrangements at the last minute.

The carer who attended me was kind and gentle, but also very thorough, professional and efficient. I would recommend to anyone.

The team are great with my dad, can’t do enough for him whilst here and are very friendly. They each tailor my dad’s changing needs to suit him, never rushing him, allowing him to try and remain semi-independent in his own home.

The team are very good at covering short-notice changes which is amazing.

Our family were very happy with the care provided by Expectation Care. The team came to our home initially and took note of my Dad's care requirements and communicating was easy via their app.

Dad was cared for with kindness and respect and the carers were always friendly to all family members if they were at home with Dad. The support shown to my Mum was much appreciated. Care visit times were initially agreed and carers were reliable to come at these times. The carers that attended were generally the same team which helped to make everyone feel at ease.

I've been disabled all my life and have been through several care agencies but Expectation Care have exceeded my expectation of care service. I am very pleased with my husband's care since the Expectation Care team started 4 weeks ago. As my husband has Alzheimer's they always explain to him what care they are giving him with each visit in a polite and friendly way. They keep to the time schedule and have been flexible recently when a new bed arrived. Their help is much appreciated by myself and my family.

My son, a carer, and a carer from the company, for my dignity, work well together. When my son is unavailable, I have two carers from the company. To have carers who enjoy their job, are cheerful, chatty and are caring is great. Management who want to listen to you, perfect support.

Two years on, Expectation Care continues to meet and exceed our expectations. We have seen the quality of care continue to increase as the staff display high levels of experience and professionalism. Over time, we have seen new routines and management strategies successfully evolve, which makes everything feel efficient and stress-free from a client perspective. The company always strives for consistency, and the client's comfort is always a top priority - every day Dad is met with a familiar face, or a formal introduction and full induction are always given to any new member of staff working with him. The carers continue to be warm, patient and compassionate, treating us all like family. We know it is not an easy job, and everyone has their challenges, but they still strive to put us first. The management team are always there for us too. We cannot thank the whole team enough for their hard work and devotion. May God richly bless and reward them for all they do.

With the caveat that I have had no previous experience of care, these are the first carers that we found for my father. Since then we have not been disappointed in any way with the care that has been provided and have never felt any need to look elsewhere.
Cost of care was an important factor and I still think that their rates are very competitive. We certainly have not felt short-changed for the service that we get.
Staff are attentive, reliable and managers responded to any of our queries that have always been answered in a positive way.
They have also, been pro-active with occasional issues, offering solutions to problems before I was aware of them.

Above all, although the care is for my father, both my father and my mother feel comfortable with this care company and I believe they look forward to their visits. I am very pleased with our choice of care provider.
