The staff are amazing and so supportive to the client and the family as well. They always go that little bit extra. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they brighten up the client's day. We are so glad to have found Alexandra's Community Care - Truro.
The staff are lovely, friendly and a great team of carers. I feel well cared for and looked after, so I look forward to their visits. We enjoy listening to music together throughout the time we share, and they also respect I have dogs and take some time to play with them also.
The care given to both my mum and myself could not have been better. The staff took all our needs seriously and professionally. There were some of the team who I found to be wise and compassionate beyond their years. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to review. You all deserve to be commended for the great work you do.
Staff develop a good rapport with the service user. The staff are helpful and caring. Staff try to ensure they are on time. The office is easy to contact and do their best to ensure visits suit their clients. Everyone is friendly and the odd concern or worry is dealt with quickly.
Great management; always happy to change things to suit the service user. Good review meetings. Staff all caring.
Thank you for taking the time to create a review for us, it's really appreciated.
In the main the care is good but the front door is left unlocked on occasion which is unacceptable as my wife is vulnerable if no one else is in the house. What angers and upsets us is carelessness which results in damage to first the plumbing system, then standing on a laptop/tablet, and most recently getting bleach on a rug. The latter 2 have not been paid for and I keep getting the brush-off regarding compensation on the rug.
Thank you for taking the time to provide a review and we appreciate your honesty as helps us to do better. I am already in correspondence with you regarding the issues raised and will look to ensure you are happy with the outcomes.
Very happy with the service and attention I receive from all the staff and carers would recommend to anyone.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and recommendation for us, it means a lot to the team.
Care staff arrive at various times around the allotted time. Most are helpful and efficient. A note pad in the kitchen needs to be used to inform my son of any particular needs, food, meds, shampoo, soap, etc. Do not always dispose of empty bottles etc when finished. Always polite and helpful. Staff have made exceptional efforts to help me out of hours.
Thank you for your kind words. I will make sure the team know to use the notepad and ensure they dispose of empty bottles. Your feedback really helps us to continually improve, thank you.
All the staff are very caring and compassionate.
Thank you for your kind words; we pride ourselves on all our great staff.
Very pleased with Alexandra's care and staff. I think that management could be more involved and need to take a serious look at what they expect from their staff who are great and should not be asked for so much coverage of clients and would make life easier for all concerned. Needs to be looked at from the top.
I find the carers good - some very helpful and kind, excellent. The traffic in Truro is very congested which makes timekeeping difficult for everyone. I understand this and make allowances for this. Some of the carers are more rushed than others. The carers carry out my requests okay because I am quite disabled and some things I cannot do, and my eyesight and hearing are not too good. On the whole, the carers are excellent as is the office management in communicating and helping me.
We really appreciate your kind words and understanding. We do endeavour to be on time and will be speaking to the carers to ensure they get to you as agreed.
Carers have been good at making mum's meals, ensuring she is clean and safe. Arrival times do vary from the original timetable. Generally later than stated. The kitchen is left clean and tidy although plates, cups, and cutlery are left out and not put away in cupboards. Recycling bins are the main issue at the moment - not put out despite the timetable being clearly displayed.
Thank you for taking the time to provide a great review, and please be assured we are speaking to our carers to ensure that the issues you've highlighted are addressed. We do strive to offer quality service and want you to be 100% happy, so one of the team will be in touch directly.
Alexandra's Community Care is an excellent company. Both the office staff and the visiting carers are most concerned with the health, care, and comfort of the service user. The carers are all clean and tidy and always pleasant. I have been with them for over 12 months and have no complaints at all.
We really appreciate you taking the time out to write such a lovely review for the team; I will pass on your comments. Thank you.
All staff that I have met have been very polite and helpful. I receive excellent care from thoughtful, forward-thinking and kind girls. Everyone always looks very smart. Attention to detail is good as is communication between staff.
Thank you for taking the time to share your comments; it really is appreciated.
Friendly efficient staff who obviously care about their clients. We have help from consistent carers who have got to know my husband well and are cheerful and positive about his care.
Most of the staff have a good rapport with my husband. They work with him, having a good chat with him when they do his care. I get along with the staff.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for our Truro team; it is much appreciated.
Carers always very kind, helpful and make me feel safe.
I am very happy with the care I have from the staff at Alexandra's. It is nice to have the same staff for most days so you get to know them well and they get to know you and all your needs.
Thank you for taking the time out to give us a review and for the very kind words.
