I sought short term help with personal care following major surgery and I was very happy with the care provided by River of Care.
The Manager was professional, approachable, knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Once my needs were assessed carers were appointed.
The carers were sensitive, supportive,
respectful and a huge help.
River of Care Ltd was recommended for me by the close friend of a family member. I valued all the help and support I received, and I recommend the services of River of Care Ltd without hesitation.

I am so grateful for the emergency support I received after struggling with recovery from major surgery. River of Care sent a nurse on the same day who was able to stay for 3 nights. She was incredibly caring, knowledgeable and supportive while being warm and bringing some much-needed lightness to the
situation! With my agreement, it was then arranged to have a carer be with me for the following nights when my medical needs stopped. The carer was exceptionally kind, proactive and thoughtful and such a help through the night. My mother was struggling to cope with caring for me and I have no idea what we would have done without these two wonderful women. We are so grateful.

Your feedback highlights the dedication of our staff to not only meet medical needs but to also offer emotional support. We understand how difficult it can be for families, and we are grateful that we could help ease that burden for you and your mother. If you need anything further or have any other feedback, please don't hesitate to reach out. Wishing you a continued smooth recovery!

As you will see from my ratings, River of Care exceeded my expectations in terms of service and level of care. Our carer demonstrated compassion, assisted my uncle to improve his independence, and he looked forward to seeing her every day. The agency is well run, and new carers were never sent unless
the manager had firstly introduced them to the client, family and property, which was key in providing an exemplary level of service. They were on time every day, which is something most agencies struggle with and they genuinely wanted to do all they could, rather than just attend to perform a service. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you.
Reply from Debora Bekele, Manager at River of Care Ltd

Thank you very much for taking the time to point out aspects of care delivery i.e introduction of key carers, time management, the carer's willingness to help the client and empowering the client to maximise their independence.
On behalf of River of Care and our team of carers, we really want to say thank you very much for your thoughtful review. We will try our best to help our community and make a positive difference in care. God bless you.

Fantastic support and care.
Rehabilitated and looked after my mom to a point where she was able to look after herself and my dad again.
Very helpful and very personable. Made our lives so much easier to know that support was there for us to enjoy our parents.
They took the pressure off us, doing
things like waking her up or putting her to bed and showering, breakfast and much more.
The manager was a great help in setting up the care and was always available if any questions needed answering.
Can't fault the service.
Will be using them again when the parents need them.
Reply from Debora Bekele, Manager at River of Care Ltd

On behalf of River of Care carers and manager, I would like to thank you. It is really helpful to know that we are doing well moreover, making a positive difference in our community.
At River of Care, our aim is to rehabilitate and make the individual independent instead of dependent on the carers. We always work with the person receiving the care and the families to make this happen.
Thank you again for taking the time to review our care.

Very happy with the care provided, my cousin has greatly improved, we now feel after a conversation with him that he only needs cares three times a week. They have been wonderful with him, especially the Manager.
Reply from Debora Bekele, Manager at River of Care Ltd

Thank you for the wonderful review on behalf of carers and the manager of River of Care. It is a pleasure for us to support your cousin over the past two years. The time we took over his care he was mainly chair and bed bound. He needed the assistance of two carers, two to three times a day, every day. He required assistance with personal care, toilet, meals, and moving and handling.
Today he is Independent and able to remember two years back how he used to be compared with how he is today. He now engages with daily exercise and has been empowered to learn how to prepare his own meals and washing himself. Over the past two years, his confidence has increased significantly. We put plans in place to increase his daily exercise and his cooking, cleaning, and washing himself. We promoted his independence by allowing him to excel in his daily exercise with direct supervision over the course of two years. Now he is fully independent and able to do everything by himself as you have mentioned in your review.

My mother returned home after her latest stay in hospital extremely frail. We were anxious as to how she would manage with a new team of carers, especially at this difficult time. However, the manager and her team have been kind, reliable and professional. They liaised with the ward and I felt they
had a thorough knowledge of my mother’s challenges and were prepared to put time and thought into improving my mother’s care at home. I recommend.

Without exception, we have found the attention to all aspects of care to be beyond our expectations. Particularly rewarding was the focus on not only the personal care matters but the genuine effort to understand and support the mental attitude towards my wifes illness and encourage the gradual return
to more aspects of life, for example using massage and cosmetics to raise levels of self-esteem. We have seen at first-hand strong leadership in the detail given to the training of carers, at the same time giving them scope to develop their own initiatives.
Reply from Debora Bekele, Manager at River of Care Ltd

Thank you so much for reviewing our services.

The main aim of our services at River of Care Ltd is to provide care that caters specifically to the individual and those significant to them. Our range of alternative services, for example, massage and the application of cosmetics, enables clients to maintain, as you have mentioned self-esteem, but also to support them in preserving their own personal identity.

Kind regards.

I am a housebound man in his 50's who thought his life was pretty much over. I have only been with Morning Hope for a short time but I have already noticed an improvement in my spirit and general mood, and more importantly, my family have noticed and commented on the improvement in my appearance health
wise also.
To know that there are still genuine CareGivers and not just people doing a job is wonderful to know. Thank you, Morning Hope. Perhaps my glass isn’t half empty after all.
