The carers took care to make sure that my mum was happy and cared for whilst maintaining her dignity. My mum loved a laugh and a joke and the carers took time after ensuring her needs were met to have a laugh and a joke.

Compassion Plus Healthcare has provided amazing care for my father-in-law over the past year. He is unable to walk and has limited speech, he relies on his carers for his mobility and hygiene needs. They are kind, caring and professional. They have demonstrated that his safety and welfare is paramount particularly with skincare. They also provide daily chats and social contact for both my father and mother-in-law as well. During the lockdowns, they have been their only contact and as a family we are so grateful for the staff's care and diligence.

What I really like about Compassion Plus Healthcare is that there are only a small number of carers who visit her so they very quickly built up a rapport with her. This makes her feel more at ease and I feel she sees their visits like a friend popping in. They go out of their way to chat with her, encourage her to eat, offer to take her for walks and have even gone looking for her when she has wandered off.
Whenever there has been a problem the communication has been excellent and I feel we could phone at any time if we had a concern.
The app is great for us to see what is happening on a day-to-day basis.

The app allows me to check up on his visits and the care that he is receiving, plus it allows me to view any concerns that the carers have.
The manager has been very flexible in regards to my dad’s changing needs. They have been able to accommodate all of our requests.

Compassion Plus Healthcare cared for my mother in the last 2 months of her life and the care they gave was outstanding. All the staff and carers we had contact with were very professional and caring. They quickly built a good relationship with my mum and the rest of our family and always treated Mum with such gentleness, care and dignity. Two of her main carers were with us when Mum passed away and they both dealt with the situation in a very calm and quietly confident way, which really helped us all and since then have been in contact with us to check how we are all doing. We had wanted carers who would work with us to keep Mum at home to the end and Compassion Plus did everything we could have hoped for to help us achieve that and we have no hesitation in recommending them to other people.

This is the first agency to provide male carers, of which my son loves. He also loves the ladies of course. Carers are thoughtful and gentle when with my son. He loves going out with carers but because of Covid this has had to stop. It's the best agency I've ever had.

The care staff were exemplary in the compassion and love shown to Dad in his last days alive. One carer personally took on caring for Dad in an extremely loving way. On the day of our Dad's passing, she had been caring for Dad selflessly for a couple of days. My brother was in attendance holding Dad's hand and told me that Dad was not really disturbed and was joking with them and laughing as he passed away.
There had always been a good rapport between the carers and Dad. We were so glad to choose this company, and from day one, there was a large level of trust and love between the carers and ourselves. Care staff were all of the highest calibre, and this showed in the care given in these extremely trying and testing times.

Two members of staff have been extremely helpful and gone out of their way to help us and set up care at quite short notice. The carers who have visited to date have without fail been kind, professional and very caring. They have also worn PPE and been very careful and gentle with my dad. Compassion Plus has all the most important components, after meeting them without worry or hesitation I could completely entrust the care of my mother to them and I felt I had much-needed peace of mind and a much-needed break. The medical history is taken in depth there is constant communication between myself and the managers which in turn is immediately passed to the carers. The managers, owners and carers are honestly so kind so professional and a joy to be around they are also incredibly on the ball with every detail, I only have to mention something and it is implemented immediately, they go above and beyond to care for my mother. Apart from the very professional care given I really appreciate that they are all so approachable they actually care and listen to you and nothing is too much trouble. But perhaps above all this the most important observation I can give is that as the agency’s name suggests they are genuinely compassionate.

I am very pleased with the care given to my mum. The care company have tried to keep the same carer going in as this is very helpful for my mum and keeps her in a good routine. The carer has worked hard to build a good relationship with my mum and this helps keep mum calm and allows her to be able to laugh and joke during her visit. The app used to record the visit is excellent and allows us to see how the visit has gone, it includes photographs, if mum gives consent, if she has a medical problem which has proved invaluable in getting prescriptions from the Doctors during this very difficult time for the NHS. The staff are very approachable and friendly and try to accommodate mum's individual needs for each visit she receives. As a family, we hugely appreciate all they do for mum.

Over the past 12 years, I have encountered many care agencies for both my parents and I can say that Compassion Plus are without doubt the most professional, attentive, caring, well managed and well organized company I have dealt with. The staff are understanding and communicate with me regularly and along with the app, I am always kept up to date with detailed reports of each visit, they are both very supportive to my parents and me.
