Compassion Plus had looked after my friend since last June and until she passed in February this year The service was incredible, the care was excellent, they were always so very kind and thoughtful. I always knew what was going on, if she needed a doctor, they would call me immediately. I could always get someone on the phone as well with no problem at all. My friend looked forward to seeing them every day. They prepared her meals, washed the dishes and did anything that she asked. I had the app on my phone so I could see what was happening at all times, so if at any time I could not go in, I knew what she had eaten, that she had taken medication etc and all was well. All the staff were exceptional and so kind and you could see they really cared for my friend. You hear so many different stories about care companies but this company always went above and beyond. It made my life so much easier knowing the quality of care was there and especially that my friend loved them all as well.

I am so impressed with Compassion Plus. Dad has been looked after since October 2021. The staff have a great rapport with Dad, and their visits really cheer him up as well as provide excellent care for him. We always know what’s going on via the app, which is very detailed and helps keep my brother, sister and I in the loop, flagging up anything that may need addressing. The central hub is easy to get hold of, and I find the carers and management very approachable. With their meal preparation, personal care, medication, washing/drying clothes when needed, celebratory touches for special occasions - it’s clear that Compassion Plus puts the well-being of the people they care for (and their families) at the top of their list. I would heartily recommend them to anyone.

I would recommend this company as without their help and support we would be struggling as a family to have found the support for our mother. My mother is now having excellent care which is keeping her out of hospital and having a quality of life in her own home. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff go above and beyond their expected delivery of care. I am provided with reassurance knowing that this level of care is in place as I live 250 miles away.

My mother required care urgently after a long stay in hospital. We were very fortunate to come into contact with Compassion Plus Healthcare. It can be really frightening to have strangers coming into your home but Compassion Plus Healthcare use the same people to reduce that anxiety and they have managed to put Mum at ease really quickly. They work at Mum's pace and have really made the effort to understand who my Mum is as an individual. Mum looks forward to seeing them and I don't have to worry because I know Mum is content, safe and being very well looked after.

I had no need to worry at all on so many levels.
Communication is clear and timely from management about anything at all.
Resolving complex issues always seemed to be taken as a matter of course with a refreshing “we can sort it out”.
The attending team are just great, my father has a great rapport with all of them in spite of his early concerns and really looks forward to their visits.
Any care issues are raised quickly with me in a timely manner.
Adjustments to schedules to accommodate more medical visits are taken onboard smoothly and just “happen”, even when a little bit outside remit.
The team have made suggestions to improve care and process which have been well received.
The online use of the care visit app has enabled me to keep up to date in almost real-time with everything that is happening.

I can only say they made our hardest times as comfortable as they could be. Sadly, this review does not allow me to use individual names but the management and each of the three night carers were simply amazing. They know who they are and they all genuinely cared about our mum and she became very fond of them. They supported her, and us, with kindness, compassion and professionalism.
We have no idea how these wonderful people do the job they do but we are so grateful that they were there for us and we would not hesitate to use their services again should they be needed.

Compassion Plus Healthcare supported my 94-year-old mother following a two-week stay in hospital. Initially, they visited three times a day. She appreciated the need for these visits and looked forward to them. The carers were excellent, they listened to her and understood and accepted she liked to do as much for herself as possible. This approach enabled her speedy return to full independence. Throughout they maintained communication with myself and my sister through the app and where necessary through telephone calls. We would not hesitate to use this care agency again should the need arise.

All the carers were good, but the main carer assigned to us was outstanding. Her cheerful competence and the connection she quickly made with my wife was of great comfort to me, and at the end, her quiet confidence, both before and after my wife passed away, definitely made the situation much easier to deal with.
It is not often that one can say that a service “exceeds exceptions”, but in this case, I feel it is more than justified.

I receive care twice per day. Body wash and breakfast in the morning. Re-clothing for bed in the evening. All care assistants perform their duties properly in addition to maintaining my flat and kitchen tidy. And importantly washing the dishes used during the day. I have no hesitation in recommending this company should you need in-home care.

From what I can read on the app notes and from my sister, it seems my mum's care is really good, together with the carers being kind and caring towards her. As I do not live in the area, I am able to keep tabs on Mum's daily care through the app which is so helpful when I’m so far away and also as I can’t travel to see her due to COVID. Thank you.

The Compassion Plus healthcare staff have been a huge support since my father was discharged from hospital following a stroke a year and a half ago. The care staff are always attentive and supportive. It is reassuring to know he will be visited each day and the team are brilliant at flagging any issues so they can be dealt with swiftly, enabling my father to be as comfortable as possible at home.

I have been very happy with all carers that have been coming, although the wife had her favourites but generally no complaints. I must say though the carer we had before the wife went permanently into the care home was very good towards the wife.

Very good support. The staff have always been friendly. Wish we could have more hours. Been very supportive with our child and very attentive with care. Always punctual unless there has been an incident beyond their control.
