Exceptional, thorough, trustworthy, friendly and consistently excellent care. My parents used Elfcare for several years and were always very pleased and happy with the service provided by the team, led by the Care Manager.

My Aunt was very reluctant to have carers, yet every member of the team used such humour patience and kindness that her barriers came down. She was able to stay in her home much longer thanks to their professionalism and commitment. As the time came to go into full-time care, she was supported by Elfcareuk above and beyond expectation. They have truly made a hard time full of warm affection and good memories!

Once the stairlift and downstairs walk-in shower was installed, who was going to be there to look after Mum and Dad every day? And then we found Elfcare - a locally based care company passionate about meeting all their needs. Very quickly, a small team of individuals were introduced, and although Mum and Dad were a little reluctant at first to have someone else in the home and the kitchen, they each became part of the family! On the occasions when the cleaning, washing and ironing had been done and a hot meal had been served, they were still there, chatting to Mum and Dad and keeping their spirits high whilst ensuring that their physical needs had been met. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and when the wheels fell off, as they do from time to time, they were there to hold a hand...thank you! Communication, updates and everything you might expect from a business perspective were also delivered to a high standard. Couldn't recommend them high enough!

Elfcare provided home care services for my 88-year-old mother for six months before she moved into residential care. The quality of personal care provided, coupled with the genuine tenderness and understanding of every single member of the team, was exemplary. All the carers would go beyond what was required in the care plan to ensure Mother was also entertained, inspired and happy. Focusing on her emotional and social well-being as well as her health and hygiene was of such great benefit and ensured she could remain safe at home for those extra few months. There has never before been so much laughter and positive energy in Mother's house. Mother was always treated with dignity and respect; even when things became difficult, all the carers would go the extra distance to ensure she was properly looked after. Elfcare is professionally managed with clear and open communication, constant updates, complete transparency and flexibility to adjust schedules and provide extra visits as required. My mother is in her late 80's and has severe mobility problems; she also suffers from other medical issues.

We used Elfcareuk to provide home support for my mother and help her with daily tasks. The service was excellent, and the individual Elfcareuk carers were always very professional, aware of my mom's needs and provided their services in a very caring and understanding way. Elfcareuk were very flexible when my mother's needs changed or extra support was required. We were always kept up to date with reports on how each visit had gone.

The care provider is always on time and willing to help with any situation that arises. She gives excellent advice and has a lot of experience with the sort of care my husband needs which is a great help. Whilst my husband has been in hospital she has taken the time to make sure that I am coping and helped with the shopping and hospital visits. Without her help we would not be able to manage and my husband gets on very well with her.

I can only speak very highly for the care I received from this company. Although I only needed short term care after a hip replacement (3 months, which a lot of companies won't even contemplate). I cannot fault the care I received, and when carers became friends in such a short time, I think that says it all! I wish them all the best, they deserve it.

My mother is sight impaired and has difficulty walking. The effective service you provide has enabled her to retain independence in her own home.

My dad is often very confused and easily upset, she manages to be a comfort to him whilst performing an excellent level of care. She always goes above and beyond and I totally trust her to look after him as I would myself.
