He had four 30-minute visits a day, but most calls were shorter. When we questioned this, we were told 30 minutes was the minimum visit length.
Some carers lacked basic skills-for example, one asked how to boil an egg. This raised concerns about training.
Most worrying was his care in the final days. He was too weak to feed himself, yet carers would leave food or drinks on the table and go without helping him. I had to intervene via webcam to ask them to assist, including moistening his mouth with sponge swabs and helping him eat and drink.
End-of-life care requires compassion and attentiveness, which we did not experience. I would not recommend this company for such care.
Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback, I'm very sorry to hear about your experience with your uncle's end-of-life care.
We take all concerns raised very seriously and are committed to providing a service to the highest standards. Although we do not currently have any concerns...
- Company does not promote independence.
- Company wants to constantly make decisions for service users on what they can or not do i.e. having a shower can be dangerous so therefore the staff can't do it but you're not medically trained to make the decision. Listen to the service user and their requirements.
- Staff constantly want to run out of the door and not wanting to give the allocated 30 mins sometimes only 15mins or less.
- Company takes no liability for damage conducted in service user's property by staff.
- Management are rude, confrontational and make no attempt to listen to the service user.
- You are not contacted back when you leave a message for a team leader to call you. Or either they say they will call you but don't.
I did make a good rapport with some carers who were genuinely caring and wanted to help. The company really need to promote independence especially for younger service users.
Thank you for sharing your concerns. We value your feedback, it helps us improve our services. We understand the importance of promoting independence for service users, especially younger individuals, and apologise if decisions were made without proper consultation. We review our processes to...
They are well experienced in their role and always provide great advice to assist in ensuring my dad is comfortable and always provide me with an update on changes to assist with regular reviews by the nurses.
They are also very keen to go above and beyond and never hesitate with any requests from me or my dad, even when they have had a busy and stressful shift.
I would highly recommend the support that is provided by Trust in Care.

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the carers in the care team for the kindness they have shown and the help they have given my family over the past few weeks. The team approach their job as a vocation; going over and beyond to help those in need. On behalf of my family, I would like to publicly thank the team for all their efforts.
The care and compassion they showed in my mum's final weeks were really lovely.
They were careful and were really gentle with my mum and took the time to ask how I was as well.
A lovely team who should be proud of the way they carried out their visits.

Their customer service is second to none.
The care and quality are consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. I would like to thank one lady in particular for always explaining any concerns to me and going that extra mile.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are delighted to hear that our customer service and quality of care have consistently exceeded your expectations. Your appreciation for our professionalism means a lot to us.
Very very poor. I only gave 1 star because it wouldn’t let me give anything lower. I could go on and on about this care provider. Not good on any level. Forget to give medication, go without giving the main mid-day meal. On two other occasions wouldn’t have had a main meal. Didn’t have to prep them already done for them. Left dirty cups with clean cups and didn’t put them away just left them. Didn’t strip a dirty bed in the morning, soiled bottom sheet where my mum had been changed. Three pillows were very dirty and the duvet was filthy. Instead just striping in seconds and putting it in the laundrette. Then the one carer when I questioned about her calling my mother a fussy woman, she said, well she wanted her hearing aids. Then she told me to put the hairbrush away off the kitchen table. Then she dropped some of her tablets down the front of her. I said if she could get up and walk at all she would. That’s your job if I am not mistaken. You can see she is 94 years old and a severely disabled lady.
We are deeply sorry you feel this way and you feel you have had a negative experience of our service. We have spoken with you regarding concerns about your mother’s care and took the appropriate measures to investigate your concerns, including sending management out to observe the carers at your...
