I have four carers visit a complex young person that my wife and I foster, the carers that visit are at our home twice a day morning and afternoon at a time when the young person finds difficult and will display challenging behaviour that is dealt with in the most appropriate manner. There is never
panic or overreacting in these sometimes difficult situations. When the young person has to wait regularly causes anxiety which results in aggressive outbursts that need to be dealt with in the correct way so being punctual is of high importance. Carers entertain by playing board games and cards or singing along to favoured tunes.
