Being a Managing Director at Lovehands, my aim is to manage the provision of care and support to people in their own homes of high quality. Having started my caring career 17 years ago, I have had the privilege to work alongside other professionals in different health and care settings which has massively helped me to build a good CQC rating service, helping our Local Authority and the NHS by enabling people to stay in their own homes and community for as long as possible.

I am extremely passionate about excellence in care and believe that people must receive excellent service which promotes independence, choice, and dignity. I recently completed a BTEC Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care which I found very rewarding and helpful in how I manage my team, clients, and business. My key strengths are my ability to build relationships, develop and motivate teams, influence stakeholders, and sell a shared future vision of growth.

I am proud that I have been privileged to work with so many wonderful people who not only allow us in their lives but trust us to hold their hands through the process. Caring is not a job for me! it is who I am, and I am passionate about it.

Being a wife, a mum to 4 kids, a perfectionist, and a people lover, means I try to prioritise tasks to ensure time is well spent with the growing family and moving a business forward by aiming to give the best services to our deserving clients.

I am a dedicated, motivated and compassionate nurse with 25 years of experience in different healthcare settings privileged to be registered to manage a good CQC-rated care provider.

In my role, I am responsible for ensuring the very best person-centred care service is provided to our clients whilst promoting their interests and understanding their needs. l effectively manage my staff, providing information, guidance and ongoing supervision and support, recruiting and onboarding new staff and continually developing and encouraging my team to deliver on our promises.

The best part of my job is working in partnership with my clients and their significant representatives, other professionals and the care team to achieve the best outcome for the client.

I bring nearly 30 years of experience in the care industry, and I’m proud to be part of the Lovehands Care Services team. My journey into care began in a very personal way, helping a family member who had care needs. That experience ignited something in me. I loved the feeling of self-worth that came from caring for someone less fortunate than myself, and it shaped my passion for supporting others ever since.

Since joining Lovehands in February 2025, I’ve been able to bring my knowledge, empathy, and leadership to a team that truly shares my values. I believe in leading by example, and I would never expect any team member to do something I wouldn’t do myself. It’s about mutual respect and working together to provide the very best care.

I describe myself as empathetic, caring, and compassionate. I firmly believe that everyone deserves high-quality care and support, and they should always have a say in how that care is given. Person-centred care isn’t just a phrase to me, it’s the foundation of everything I do.

Doreen is a result-oriented marketing professional who brought a wealth of experience into the care sector after a successful 7-year career in the banking industry. Her background includes managing diverse client portfolios, delivering excellent customer service, handling credit financing, budgeting, reporting, risk and cash management, and leading sales and marketing initiatives.

In 2020, Doreen made a meaningful career shift into the care industry, driven by a passion for making a direct impact in people’s lives. She joined Lovehands Care Services in June 2021 and quickly proved to be a valuable asset to the team. Through her dedication, professionalism, and people-first approach, she worked her way up to her current role as a Senior Support Worker.

Doreen’s unique blend of corporate precision and heartfelt care makes her stand out. Her ability to combine strong organisational skills with genuine compassion enables her to support clients with excellence and lead by example. Whether she's coordinating support plans or mentoring colleagues, Doreen always brings positivity, focus, and a deep commitment to delivering tailored, high-quality care.

Ria is a hardworking and resilient individual whose passion for helping people has truly blossomed since joining Lovehands in November 2024. Originally exploring career options, she found her calling in the care sector and hasn’t looked back since. Ria is now thriving in a role she loves, bringing dedication, positivity, and a genuine sense of purpose to the team.

With a strong work ethic and a natural drive to give 100% in everything she commits to, Ria is someone who embraces challenges and continually seeks ways to grow and improve.
