Overall Experience

Swancare provided care for my mother when she was in the later stage of dementia. The team were incredibly supportive, first and foremost listening with an open mind to understand the situation and needs, especially as my mother was speaking very little at that stage and required assistance to mobilise. They worked with me to find practical, workable solutions to support my mum and also joined me during conversations with health professionals. The genuine caring nature of both staff and management truly differentiated this agency from others I had used and I do consider us blessed that we found Swancare when we did.

Overall Experience

The care swan care has provided is excellent and they are very good with my mum. They care with love and talk to her nicely involves her in conversation. They came in time and cleaned everything related to my mum. They regularly check the body and inform me about any small changes, they chat with her and infrom her when doing each task, they try to catch up and speak some words in Arabic as that's her main language. They also prepare food for her when I am tired.

Carers were wonderful to my mother-in-law. I liked how they initially came and worked out the plan of care. The carer spoke in Gujarati which helped and the carer was also tolerant of my mother-in-law who could get difficult in times of pain. Management helped to organise this care.

Our carer is very prompt, does whatever is expected of her and more if asked.
She has pleasant manners and gets on very well with my husband.

We were pleased with the service provided by Swan Care Group. The carers were all Gujarati speaking which helped my sister-in-law. She was very comfortable and pleased with the care she was getting. Excellent service provided by caring and professional staff. Management listens carefully to client's requests, are always available for meetings and take immediate action to rectify any problems. Swan Care has been providing my mum with excellent care and support since May 2023 to date. Her care has been a very person-centred plan and approach, therefore meeting all her needs. They’ve involved my mum, but also the rest of the family, in putting together a robust care plan. My mum is very happy with the care and support she receives from the carers, as are we, her family. For nearly 11 years, I served as a Management Accountant for two Nursing and Residential Homes in Leicester and Derby. This tenure enriched me with deep insights into the financial dynamics of the healthcare sector and the operational intricacies of the care industry.

My role provided me a comprehensive view of the various elements essential to the successful management of a healthcare organisation, including care delivery, compliance, and health and safety.

In 2022, I took the leap to establish my own venture in the sector, leveraging the wealth of experience I had accumulated. Thus, Swan Care Group Ltd was born. After securing the company’s CQC Registration, registering with the local council, and initiating our marketing efforts in Leicester, we expanded. Last year marked the inauguration of two additional branches in Northampton and London, broadening our services to include domiciliary care and supported living.

The business of care is not only financially rewarding but also profoundly fulfilling, as it supports individuals in leading independent lives. Our ethos is inspired by the principle ‘In the Joy of others, lies our own’, a maxim of my spiritual guide that resonates deeply with our mission at Swan Care Group Ltd. Our team embodies this philosophy, striving to deliver exceptional care that empowers our service users to live life to its fullest potential.

Initially, our care company operated under a different name, but we later rebranded to Swan Care Group Ltd. The swan symbolises spiritual grace and the ability to navigate through challenges with inner strength and self-belief—qualities we instil in our staff and encourage in those we care for. During my professional practice, I interned with Pulse Social Sports Group CIC as a trainee marketing strategist, where I acquired a comparative understanding of the corporate and marketing sectors. My career at Swan Care began as a Care Worker, from which I advanced to the position of Community Care Manager, and most recently, I have been promoted to the role of Care Manager.
