Very helpful and friendly staff. Very accommodating office staff, always person centred and open to accommodate what my Mum needs. Good app which allows me to see who is coming in, what they have done on the visit and information on how Mum is on the visit.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback. It's great to hear that you've found the team supportive and flexible to your mum's needs. Knowing the updates and visibility are helping you stay informed and reassured is really important to us. We truly appreciate your trust.
I am a client of Eleanorecare.I would like to tell about my current unpleasant experience. I have had a care for about 6,5 years. For the first 4,5 years the personal care was very good. But for the last 2 years everything has changed. We do not have rotas. So we do not know who will come and when. Also the office started to take very unprofessional carers. On Saturday 6 December 2025 the carer came to me for the first time. She didn't know what to do; in a jacket, without a uniform. I asked her to leave. She did not. I shouted. She phoned the office to complain. They phoned me from the office and pleaded with me to leave her because everybody else was sick or on an annual leave. i agreed for once. I asked the girl to heat up my food in the microwave. She did and left. About 7 hours later I came into the kitchen and saw that the sink was completely blocked. It is still blocked now no matter how I tried to unblock it. Now I have to call a plumber. The tablecloth was dirty and filthy.
Thank you for your feedback. We're really sorry to hear that your experience hasn't met expectations. We take all feedback seriously, and your concerns have been noted. A member of our team will be in touch with you shortly to follow up and discuss things further.
The level of attention towards my wife varies greatly dependant on the people that attend her, some have a lot of empathy and have a connection with her and with some carers there is none of that, a Client with severe Alzheimer's needs constant reassurance. Some of the Carer's perform a high quality visit but some just seem to rush the activity without setting any standard, I would criticise the Eleanor management for not auditing the quality of care quality of their staff. The timing of the care visits can be erratic especially the morning ones invariably they are late, they do not seem to have sufficient travel time allotted in their schedule. My overall feeling:- it's better the devil you know.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and we truly appreciate your honesty. We're sorry to hear that your experience has felt inconsistent at times. We understand how important it is for care to be delivered with empathy, especially in situations that require extra reassurance and...
I am looked after by all carers with dignity and care. I do appreciate that I now have some carers each day who know my routine. They always help in anyway they can. The office always very helpful very satisfied with all my care at home.
Thank you for sharing this. It's truly appreciated. It's great to hear you feel respected and well supported, and that having familiar carers each day has made a difference. Feeling understood in your routine really matters, and we're glad the team has been there for you. So pleased to hear you're happy with the care and that means a lot.
My care package started on week beginning 21st October 2024 through social services and I have been really happy with Eleanor Care. The office staff and the carers are extremely understanding of how variable my long list of health problems can be as sometimes I have to cancel visits etc. My regular carer and I have built up a really good rapport with, she is so lovely and I'm completely comfortable with her. The other carers I also really like (as my one carer doesn't work Fridays). I have had a few other ladies but I can't remember their names. Anyway, overall I would recommend this company for home care. I used to work as a carer myself years ago before I became ill so I am very familiar with the expected standard of care and I am quite impressed with Eleanor so far. Thank you so much and keep up the good work.
Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're so pleased to hear that you're happy with the care and support provided. It's great to know that our team has been understanding of your needs and that you've built a good rapport with your carers. Your kind words mean a lot, and we truly appreciate your recommendation. If there's anything more we can do, please don't hesitate to reach out!
Once the medication problems had been sorted out Eleanor Care have been good with my Dad. The staff seemed kind and conscientious, the only thing I didn't like was the visits seem to be very short at times, being a carer myself I thought that 15-minute visits had been ruled out as not enough time to do anything and some of the visits were shorter than that.
Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback. We're glad to hear that you're happy with the care provided for your dad and we appreciate your feedback regarding the duration of the visits. We will certainly take your comments into account to ensure we are meeting the necessary standards. Your input...
My only fault would be that I and Gran do not want her stuck in bed at 10am onwards as she feels this is too late and is often wet and stuck there.
But the management do their best to stay in contact and let me know to their knowledge what going on.
Thank you for sharing your feedback about the care your Gran has received. We are glad to hear that certain issues have significantly improved and that she now has a more consistent care team. We truly appreciate your understanding and patience, and your concerns about her comfort and well-being....
Overall the care for my wife is good. My point of attention is that communication could be improved especially when there is a change of time and or carers.

After 6 months of very poor care, I'm glad Eleanor Care won't be looking after my friend. Hours and care were skipped from the start. Some nice carers, but very poor management and communication, and the care plan were not appropriate. It was not adapted to her specific needs although they were highlighted. I would not recommend.
Thanks for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear your experience didn't match your expectations. I can assure you this was an uncommon instance and we'll do better in the future. We do encourage our service users and their next of kin to make contact with us to raise concerns they may have...
