All the staff are nice and friendly. They take care of my mum very well. Any issues have been resolved immediately. Good support from management.
Thank you for the lovely review. We will pass your feedback on, thanks again :)
Easily the best care company we have dealt with. Excellent service all round. The carers are wonderful. Kind, hardworking, friendly, and a pleasure to have them helping us. Having these really good carers is better than being in a care home.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're absolutely delighted to hear that you've had such a positive experience with our team. It means a great deal to know that our carers have made such a difference and that their support has brought you comfort and peace of mind. We'll be sure to pass on your lovely feedback to the team-they'll be thrilled to hear it.
I first contacted SCHC a week before reconstructive surgery on my knee. I had spent days before looking for a company who could come out to my house and support me and care for me throughout my recovery. Being a younger client I found many other care providers that did not advertiser or promote that they support younger clients (under 30) compared with elderly clients. The first thing I saw from the website is that they support younger clients like myself after major surgery. From when I filled in the enquiry form I had a call back within 2 minutes speaking to the manager who then arranged a house visit within a few days. It was great to have a my worries eased that I will get the support I need. I was very nervous knowing that I would not be able to walk to the bathroom or care for myself. Throughout I had wellbeing calls to check up on how I was doing as well as the company being so flexible in my care needs as I recovered. I couldn't fault the experience as a younger client.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and heartfelt review. We're truly grateful you chose SCHC to support you through such an important and vulnerable time in your recovery. It means a great deal to us that you felt seen, heard, and cared for-not just as a client, but as a person.Supporting...
I found the team very responsive and helpful as Mums needs changed, stepping up care levels with only a few hours notice. All carers friendly and helpful.
Our experience with live in care was especially positive. I can only commend two staff members in particular for the love, dedication, creativity, knowledge and professionalism they showed.
I would recommend.

The whole team at South Coast Home Care have been kind, caring, compassionate, friendly, efficient, professional and responsive to our needs. They put care in place on the day we asked for their help and managed to continue to adapt the plan we had quickly to suit our family's fast changing needs. The staff in the office went above and beyond to help - proactively liaising with other professionals involved in my mother's care and keeping us in the loop. The care they put in place was totally bespoke to our needs. The carers themselves were kind, gentle, calm and attentive. They made my mum feel safe and carried out their duties as she asked with her dignity and safety as a priority. We can't thank the whole team enough for all they've done to help to make a very difficult time for our family much easier and with such kindness too. We feel like they have wrapped with a blanket of care around the whole family - giving us peace of mind that our beloved mum is in the best possible hands.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. It's nice to hear you felt mum was in the safest possible hands.

Carers always friendly and professional. No job is too much trouble. Mum was in hospital for 7 weeks and some staff went to see her which made her feel valued. Always make sure I am kept in contact with times etc which takes stress away. Can't praise the company enough.

After my Mum had a fall we had South Coast in, as they had helped us before, and we were more than happy that they could help us again. Always arrived with smiles and cheers and were an absolute pleasure and a godsend. Have recommended them and would definitely use them again. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're grateful for your trust and happy we could help again. Wishing you and your mum all the best!
South Coast Home Care has been a lifeline for my mum and her partner who is 97 this year, and a great help for myself and sisters.
Thank you everyone at South Coast Home Care.
Thank you for your lovely review! We're so glad to hear that your mum has gained strength and that our team has been a lifeline for your family. It means a lot to us to be able to support you all.
My mum had a bad fall and I contacted Southcoast Homecare after being told about them by a friend. I met with the owner and was hugely impressed and told about a Contingency Plan they do, which involves a full assessment and visit once a week from a carer to form a relationship and check my mum is doing ok. It's been a wonderful thing to do. They are caring, and helpful and take the pressure off my mother in various ways. Also, now that we are registered under this plan, when or if the actual time that mum needs full-time support or periodic at-home help, there will be no delay or assessment, etc and they know her needs and meds, etc. I know from experience that when an emergency occurs, the process of being assessed can be very frustrating and delay you getting help. I am thrilled with the service.
Thank you, as always. I'm pleased everything is going well.
The staff at South Coast have always paid great attention to detail in providing such good care towards my wife. They also on every visit engage with my wife, which I know that she enjoys greatly. I appreciate that the job on occasions can be demanding however the staff who attend to my wife just use their skill set and knowledge as trained. And provide such a professional service.
Thank you for your kind words and feedback, we will also ensure this is passed to the whole team who care for her. It's a delight caring for your wife.
Providing staff who care for the elderly and vulnerable can never be easy. It is well known that there are staff shortages nationally. Initially, the staff provided to take care of my aunt was not consistent and was not appropriate but that was two years ago and now there seems to be a consistent rota of excellent staff which helps enormously. My cousins and I, her only relatives, live some distance from my aunt. Having live-in staff has been the right answer for the care of my aunt; it is the best for her and for us.
Thank you so much for your feedback. We're pleased to hear that the current consistent rota of staff has been a positive change for your aunt's care, especially with you and your family living at a distance. We understand how important it is to have reliable, dedicated care in place, and we're glad that the live-in arrangement is providing peace of mind for both her and your family.
SCHC has always been approachable to discuss any issues that arise.
Without the support of SCHC, I do not believe my parents would have been able to remain in their own home and together, which was their dearest wish.
Thank you for the lovely feedback. It's lovely to hear we've made a difference to you and your parents.
My daughter has cerebral palsy and now she is older, caring for her personal needs has become difficult for me. As an older mother, my health has begun to suffer. I welcomed South Coast Home Care with open arms. The carers who came every day were caring, considerate, polite, courteous and extremely kind and patient. They took care of all my daughter's hygiene needs. My daughter was treated with dignity and respect. I cannot fault the service we received.
Thank you for the lovely feedback. It's lovely to hear we've managed to ease the pressure from you.
We have found the ongoing care given to our father to be of a very high standard, the carers genuinely seem to care about him and nothing is too much trouble. We are informed promptly of any issues, it is very reassuring to have peace of mind after nearly a year of very bad care from previous care companies.
Thank you so much for your kind words and it's a pleasure to care for your father. Many thanks, Managing Director.
The care they showed my husband was second to none, nothing was too much trouble they never hurried or rushed to go to the next client and they also had time for me to see I was okay, with really caring staff and management.
Thank you June, for your review and kind words really means a lot to us.
We have been very happy with the care given to my father by South Coast Homecare, they endeavour to keep the staff going to him consistent, which he finds less unsettling. He gets on very well with most of the staff, especially the male member who my father will only allow to help with washing and dressing.
