Absolutely shocking. Tonight my granny fell while the caretaker was in and she was sat with her on the floor. She called it in to her office and was then told just to leave her lying there and move onto her next client. What kind of service is that? Lucky the caretaker stayed until a family member managed
to get there. She’s now been taken to hospital but what kind of services is that when the management tells someone to leave an old lady lying on the floor after a fall absolutely shocking.

We have reviewed the information relating to this review made by a relative of a service user we have cared for since September 2016.


Facts:
- Service user did not have a fall.
- Service user was admitted to hospital due to increased confusion and feeling unwell.
- Staff stayed with the service user, they did not move on.
- Staff were there for over 1.5 hours as family had other commitments, dogs, and couldn't attend at the time.
- Staff were still in attendance when the ambulance arrived. Family arrived at the same time.


We have a Real Time Monitoring System which shows the length of time staff are at visits. This visit lasted from 15.36pm to 17.09pm
