We have been using living well.homecare for over a year now and I couldn't be more pleased than I am now. They have assisted me from the beginning in getting the right care for dad. We have a lovely team off regular staff that dad has got to know over time amf I feel comforable in knowing that he is in safe hands

Overall Experience
Living Well has been a fantastic discovery. They have looked after my mother (who lives with my kids and Me) since last September. The care team who come twice a day are all lovely, caring, hard-working, gentle, kind, fun and conscientious ladies. It is the same team people who come to care for her. We have got to know them and they know us. They are reliable, punctual and do give their jobs all they have.

They take of all mum's personal care while chatting and laughing together. They are a real pleasure to have around and mum couldn't be happier with them.

Overall Experience
Our daughter has been supported by Living Well Homecare (LWH) for just over 4 months now. She's living back in the community, after spending 10 weeks in hospital (summer '24). Four years prior to this episode, she had spent 10 years continually in hospital, in four different out-of-county locations.

The team of support workers assisting our daughter have been excellent. They have encouraged her exercise regime (swimming, aqua-fit and Pilates). They have recently helped her with a spring clean of her and her husband's flat, taken her to see her grandparents and friends. During the first 2 months, they supported her ECT treatment at the hospital, her monthly appointments and GP visits. LWH's support has been invaluable to me and my husband (her dad) as we have been supporting other family members 100 miles away. Also, we're sure that LWH have helped my daughter's husband go back to work, in the knowledge that she is being supported. Many, many thanks.

The staff don't just support me but make me feel special. We do baking, shopping, watch films & do beauty sessions. Staff understand me and help me get to meetings & support me get back to what I used to do. Thank you.

Overall Experience

I like the service the team are friendly. The care from staff who visit and those I talk to in the office is always good they take time with me & allow me to make changes when I need to. I look forward to my visits I sometimes wish they were here more often. I have told my neighbour about living well as he needs support to go out.

Overall Experience

The carers are beautifully presented, nothing they cannot do for me their support is amazing plentiful, and promising. Their presentation is excellent and one to be desired, I adore them and they are helpful and courteous, never has there been a time to not represent their working attitude. I thank the carers and everyone in the office for their kind efforts. I talk with them, I think that is the most important thing you can do - having a conversation with them improves my mood and makes me feel like life is worth living. May god bless you all!

I am very grateful for the Living Well Homecare Team. The carers who attend my home to support me are always friendly, kind, caring and compassionate. They assist me with my daily tasks, including cleaning, shopping, preparation of meals and collecting my medication. They are always supportive and encouraging when visiting me and I am privileged to have them to support me and my needs. Excellent staff always friendly and checking I'm OK. I wouldn't get out of the house virtually at all, if it wasn't for the carers, so I really appreciate them. They go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable when we go out. Thank you to Living Well.

I would like to show my appreciation to Living Well Home Care and hope it encourages others to use this incredible service. If I did not have the support of this team I would have been admitted back to hospital due to my mental health. The team are outstanding and is literally my motivation to move from my bed to becoming the wife and mother my family deserve. They support me with my personal care, home support, food preparation, fitness, medication, and a massive achievement of pushing me to introduce my hobbies back into my life, which has given me so much confidence and self-worth. On occasions when there has been an error in timings, they are very quick to respond and ensure things are put right, and I'm comfortable and confident with the carers who come to me. They are so amazing at listening and giving me the emotional support I need to face challenges from daily tasks and overcome problems that haunt me from my past. A massive thank you from the bottom of my heart

I have worked in Social Care for over 8 years now and have strong views about how care should be delivered.

I believe that care should be flexible and fit in with your lifestyle, not the other way around.

Placing a person at the centre of their care journey is paramount to their overall wellbeing, there is no ‘one size fits all’ within social care. Making sure a person is seen and heard by all involved is a priority, at LWHC we encourage active participation from all our service users.

Making sure they and their family are involved with decisions about their healthcare and how they would like to receive it. We find that this approach strengthens the relationship between the person receiving care and the caregiver, it offers an opportunity for trust to develop and flourish.
