Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2019

Hello, I am Shorifa, and I am the Registered Manager for Serene Home Care Services.

I oversee the daily operations of our Homecare and Supported living service, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. I am responsible for making sure our service complies with all legal and regulatory standards set by the CQC, and most importantly, that we consistently deliver high-quality, person-centred care to all our clients.

With a passion for the care sector that started when I was at university, I’ve always been driven to make a positive impact on how care is provided. I genuinely enjoy being part of an amazingly dedicated team at Serene and am committed to improving the care experience for those who need it most.

Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to ensuring that everyone in my care receives the highest standard of support and attention. As a Registered Manager, I work closely with our Care Manager and care coordinators to oversee the daily operations of our home care and supported Living service, ensuring that we consistently provide exceptional care to all our clients.

As a qualified Behavioural Therapist, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to our Children's services, ensuring that each child receives the tailored support they need to thrive.
Whether it’s supporting children with autism, ADHD, or other learning or developmental challenges, our dedicated team is here to provide compassionate, respectful care. We work closely with families to create care plans that focus on the child's goals, offering consistency and stability while respecting their personal needs and preferences.

In addition to my professional life, I also enjoy spending time with my children, husband, family and friends. I enjoy swimming and watching horror movies, going for walks and eating spicy food!
