Working in the Care Sector since the age of 17 has given me extensive training and experience in both Residential and Community based care. I also have extensive knowledge of Dementia care.
My work history consists of roles as Carer, Team Leader and Deputy Manager, enabling me to understand the needs of our clients and ensure that we work within the parameters of the law and legislation as well as compliance with CQC, ensuring that our clients receive the best personalised care they possibly can.

I joined Vermuyden Care in 2023. Having worked in management roles within some of the UK’s largest care providers, I’ve gained deep insight into the sector, but Vermuyden Care truly stands apart. Starting out as a Care Assistant, I’ve worked my way up through roles including Care Training Practitioner, Care Coordinator, Assistant Manager, and Deputy Manager—culminating in my current position as Branch Care Manager. What drew me to Vermuyden Care was the organisation’s unwavering commitment to compassionate, person-centred care that makes a meaningful and lasting impact on those we support. From our dedicated care staff to our supportive office team, everyone shares a common goal; to empower individuals to live with dignity, independence, and respect. As an Assistant Manager in domiciliary care, my passion lies in making a meaningful difference in people's lives every single day. I’ve always been driven by a deep sense of compassion and a commitment to ensuring that individuals receive the highest standard of care in the comfort of their own homes.
What inspires me most is the opportunity to support not only our service users but also the dedicated care staff who work tirelessly to deliver person-centred care. I take pride in mentoring and guiding my team, fostering a positive and supportive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.
My role allows me to combine leadership with empathy—ensuring compliance and quality standards are met, while also listening to the needs of both staff and clients. I’m passionate about continuous improvement, and I actively seek ways to enhance our services, whether through training, innovation, or simply being present and responsive.
Ultimately, what drives me is knowing that our work helps people maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. That’s not just a job to me—it’s a calling.

With over 16 years of front-line experience in both statutory and voluntary care sectors, I am passionate about supporting adults as they navigate life’s challenges. From mental health to housing, substance misuse to disability support, my work has spanned the full spectrum of care—delivered with empathy, professionalism, and heart.
I have a down-to-earth approach and deep understanding of human complexity, combining formal health and social care training with a natural gift for connection. Whether mentoring colleagues or empowering service users, I like to bring energy, insight, and unwavering commitment to every interaction.
I am driven by the belief that everyone deserves to be heard and supported, I like to create spaces where dignity, choice, and transformation thrive.
Although new to Vermuyden Care, I believe in their responsive, person-centred approach, where nothing is too much trouble, and care of clients it at the forefront of driving the company forward.
