If I've had to ring the office for any kind of query the staff are lovely, if the office staff can't help, they will inform a manager who will get back to me with the answer.
They are always willing to help.
The carers are great and treat my mother as a human being, they have a laugh with her which is very important for my mother's wellbeing.
I would highly recommend Vermuyden care.
The manager listened when developing the care plan. Mum was included too. Once the carers got used to mum everything seems to be being done. Very respectful to mum and her home. Would recommend this team.
Vermuyden provided excellent care for my mother; from first email contact, through visits to set up contracts to the care service provided and following her passing. The carers were professional, compassionate and kind. They were pro-active and creative in exploring how to personalise the care provided for my mother, particularly as she didn't find losing her independence and having to accept care easy. The care team understood this and always treated her with respect and patience, which brought with it great peace of mind and comfort for family. I recommend Vermuyden wholeheartedly..
I cannot thank the carers and the coordinators enough for the care they provided to my mum and the compassion they showed her when she needed it the most. With living away it was always going to be quite difficult, however they kept me updated with any concerns and stayed with her if needed. Also trying to come up with ideas about what would work better for her. Thank you!
Timely.
All call me by my first name and are friendly.
Overall the service provided is satisfactory and reliable, however, sometimes punctuality is an issue with late visits. Recently when I had a fall, the staff went above and beyond the call of duty for which I was very appreciative.
I have not been able to fault the care, compassion and service provided by both the carers and office/admin staff. While they were primarily looking after my dad, they also ensured that my mum was okay. I would not hesitate to recommend them, indeed I have already done so.
Vermuyden have been caring for my brother and sister-in-law who both have dementia. My major concern for their welfare was mismanagement of their medication and to ensure that they are eating regular meals and being looked after. The carers at Vermuyden show so much compassion and care and as a family we are extremely satisfied with the care that they both receive. I would recommend Vermuyden care to anyone that needed care in their own home.
Very pleased and happy with service. The girls are fantastic and very helpful. Very pleased with the care she gets from all the girls and they talk to her a lot. Thank you.
The carers have treated me with dignity and have been most caring. It is nice to see the same carers.
I am more than happy with the care I am receiving from Vermuyden Care.
All the staff I've met when visiting have been kind, courteous and efficient and chatted with her whilst getting on with the essentials of medication administration and food preparation, etc.
They adapt to her changing needs, and both the carers and administrative/management staff communicate well when there is any kind of problem or something we need to be aware of. They also make suggestions for changes to mum's care plan where they think it will benefit her.
Overall, I'm really happy with the service provided.
Lovely carers have been visiting Mum in her own home for a year now. Mum was recently found on the floor and the carer managed the situation admirably, staying with her until help arrived. Then following this, helping us to manage with additional visits Mum required and giving support whenever we needed it. Mum can be difficult at times and the carers are very patient with her, often going above and beyond. Thank you to all who are involved.
Carer performance is very good. However, attendance is not always on time.
All our family were more than happy with the care Mum received from Vermuyden Care. Every carer I met whilst visiting Mum were friendly, courteous and always ensuring all Mum's needs were met. On one occasion, Mum had a bad fall, fortunately, a carer arrived to put Mum to bed. She stayed with her until the ambulance arrived, reassuring and keeping Mum comfortable. Mum was able to live in her own home ( all her children do not live locally), thanks to Vermuyden Care and we as a family had peace of mind she was being very well cared for and we really appreciated the Vermuyden staff who attended Mum's funeral.
My wife has received help from Vermuyden Care for a number of months now and every carer that has arrived on the doorstep has been friendly and professional. She has always been treated with respect at all times and nothing is too much trouble for them when she has required help.
Vermuyden care have been excellent with their care for my mum. Mum has always been very independent so she was reluctant to have care but the team have treated my mum with dignity and respect and she enjoys their visits. The management have been incredibly flexible and supportive with both of us. Thanks for everything.
We have had brilliant support from the deputy manager and her team of carers, visiting our mother twice a day. They are polite, friendly and flexible with the changing needs of our situation. There was no problem contacting them out of hours, when we had a hospital admission and they are incredibly supportive and helpful.
Vermuyden Care has looked after my mum extremely well. At first, Mum was very apprehensive about having carers, but she now looks forward to them coming in every day. Mum says the carers are all really lovely and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. She is treated with dignity at all times. Mum is also a much happier person now she has some help from cares.
Each and every carer who has come to me has been respectful, caring and pleasant. They have helped me in any way they could and treat me with pleasantness and dignity, for which I am very grateful.
