Finding the right care provider that does what they say they will is invaluable. I would completely recommend SureCare. They cared for Dad, for a number of months, daily. Until it became impossible with his dementia and extensive wandering, that he's now in a home. We followed the manager over to this
company in January 2023. Someone who is a care manager in every sense of the word. A care plan was put in place with Dad's needs. A primary carer who was an absolute delight. She had such a connection and understanding of Dad from the start, she was matched perfectly. Adapting to all his little dementia traits. Going that extra mile, quite literally! Updating the app in a way that I could see exactly what Dad had been provided with following each visit. They really were like an extension of our family, with nothing being too much trouble! I believe without their quality of support, Dad wouldn't have had those extra months at home that he had.

Thank you for leaving us a lovely review. Feedback from the people we care for or their families is really important to us as it reflects that our carers are following the management's guidelines, training and ethos whilst delivering care. Our aim is to constantly improve upon the services we offer, providing a bespoke service to individual needs. We really miss going in and providing support for your dad and it was sad that his needs changed to the extent that he was unable to remain at home and went to care home. We hope he is happy there and being looked after as he should be. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of his journey in life and we would be happy to assist in the future if you require our services for any friends or family members.

After nervously accepting help for my mother who has dementia, both my brother and I are delighted how well care seems to have been accepted. Managers are very approachable and always willing to solve any problems. Our mum has gone back to being the smart lady she always was everyday. Staff go over
and above the little extras, which takes the pressure off us as a family and myself, who is paralysed and unable to do for my lovely mother who all her life did for others. We have noticed she is far happier, so thank you all staff at Batley SureCare team, you are our angels. I know how difficult your jobs can be, as I was a manager for over thirty-five years and a carer for seven years. One of the most undervalued, underpaid jobs, but in my eyes one of the most rewarding jobs when done right. Well done to every single one of you, my mum would say the same if she could. Dementia is terrible, but we know when Mum is content and unhappy and she is content. Thank you for your care from an appreciative son and daughter.

We are happy that you and your brother are satisfied with the care being provided for your mum. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for your kind words of support. We aim to provide a bespoke service and to continue to provide this. Feedback provides us with opportunity to constantly review our services, we are always open to suggestions from family members as no care service is perfect and there is always room for improvement.

Washed and dressed my father, who has dementia, 4 times a week. We had a regular carer who was very friendly and efficient and got on well with both my mum and dad.
My dad is now sadly in a care home, so we no longer require their service, but I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

I was really pleased with the care provided to my mother at the end of her life. The office staff and the carers were all kind, cheerful, helpful and competent. The carers quickly built a rapport with my mum and always did their best to meet her needs, nothing was too much trouble for them. The agency
was extremely adaptable and flexible as my mum's needs constantly changed. It was extremely useful to have the option of night care when my mum needed it. Sure Care provides a really great service.

Our carers loved providing care for your mum and developed a very close bond with her in a very short space of time. We hope they were able to make her as comfortable as could be in the latter stage of her life. We are all very sorry at her passing, and our sincere condolences to you and the rest of the family. May she rest in peace.

Excellent service, and great people, with good attitudes. I have used three companies in the past as standards have always dropped, however, SureCare is the best one so far. I would recommend them as a top care company in West Yorkshire. Thank you for supporting my brother.

Excellent level of care is provided. The company owners are incredibly helpful and always on standby to assist. Care provided by carers is personalised to my mother; she loves it. They treat service users with respect and dignity. I hope they expand to the wider community to provide such excellent services
to other vulnerable adults.

We've been to other care companies, and the staff really care. They came and saw us when they said they would, listened to what Dad wanted and did what they said.
Great girls that come and see him, and the coordinator and manager are there to smooth out any problems the girls can't solve, like changing
call times and adding on new jobs.
Even the owner is a really caring man. So different, especially nowadays.
Can't recommend them enough.

The care package for my wife, who suffered a serious stroke in January, was arranged at short notice with Surecare. The initial set-up meeting was comprehensive with the two senior staff members and quickly established a regime tailored to my wife's needs as well as my own. All of the staff involved
have been very caring and competent, and the package contents have been tweaked in light of the circumstances as they change. I am extremely satisfied with the response and fully confident that the details of the package will be adjusted as my wife's condition changes. First-class.

Thank you for leaving such a lovely review. Very kind words of support indeed! We will always endeavour to adjust the care package as the needs of your wife change to ensure she remains comfortable in her own home for as long as possible.

Always very supportive and flexible with caring, friendly and efficient carers and cleaners. My challenge has been to remember people's names! My challenge now is I will need dog sitting facilities as I rebuild my life, but I am confident SureCare (Batley & Wakefield) can handle my requirements. Thank

My father-in-law was struggling to cope at home, as he lived on his own, but reluctant to accept any help. The SureCare team quickly gained his confidence, and he built up a good relationship with all the staff who cared for him. The manager, in particular, was always a pleasure to deal with, nothing
was too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone as they gave us peace of mind that he was well looked after.

Thank you for your kind comments and for taking the time to leave us a review. Your father-in-law was always a pleasure to look after, and he always had a smile on his face whenever we came in to see him, especially on Christmas Day when our care Coordinator prepared him a Christmas Dinner. It is these smiles and kind words that keep us going and makes our job so worthwhile. We are happy to have helped him during his time of need.

The initial assessment was very thorough and the manager came across as very kind and caring. Our needs are being met and we get regular calls from the manager asking how everything is going and if we are happy with the care being provided. It's very comforting to see that they actually care about my
wife.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
