My Mother has been receiving care from Helping Hands (Bury St Edmunds branch) for about 9 months now. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone seeking care for themselves or a loved one. The office team are helpful and responsive, nothing is too much trouble. I am kept informed of anything I need to be aware of. The visiting carers are kind, helpful and professional. They are always prompt for time so Mum is never worried about whether someone is coming to see her. All in all, we've had a positive experience with Helping Hands.

I am very pleased with the regular care which is provided. I can feel confident going out, knowing that my husband is being well looked after. Our regular carer is very kind and efficient and, in addition to caring for my husband, she looks around to see what household chores need to be done.
When extra hours are needed, this has been arranged very efficiently and smoothly. The office staff are always very helpful.

The whole team at Homecare have been absolutely outstanding. I called from hospital in desperation and in need of immediate care for my Mother and the Care Coordinator came the same day and a carer was immediately put in place. Everyone has been so kind, compassionate, respectful and understanding. I was very nervous about buying care services, having heard lots of negative stories but Homecare have provided us with a Gold Standard service that I could never have imagined. I am so very grateful and honestly feel that they saved me, my Mum and our family at a time when we simply couldn't cope any longer. Now we feel reassured and hopeful about the future.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We are truly delighted to hear that our team was able to respond quickly and provide the immediate care your mother needed during such a challenging time. It is wonderful to know that you found everyone to be kind, compassionate,...

I used Helping Hands for some respite care. The carers were absolutely lovely and very good at their job. My safety and comfort were their priority, and they were genuinely caring people. The team that arranged the care were also very helpful and responded to my questions promptly and helpfully, I would not hesitate to use them again.

I have been very happy with the care provided by all of the carers for my mum, some are more proactive in identifying things that need to be done and a couple not so. They are always polite and respectful. My mum is pleased with the staff who come to her home. Some could offer to get some local shopping if the fridge is looking a bit empty (which is not very often) and get some fresh vegetables, but also they could check to see if there's any out of date foodstuffs and dispose of them after checking with mum. Staff are very prompt generally and always seem to be cheerful.
The office staff are also very helpful, and accommodating when I have had a need to contact them.
The carers are kind, respectful, reliable and do a great job! Thank you
Times can be a little astray but with traffic, roadworks and the recent heat this is not surprising.
Whenever we have requested extra support for hospital appointments, the carers have been an enormous help: we are very grateful.
I received good advice at the outset. We have a sitting service for three hours once per week. The staff members always arrive on time and are tidily dressed in a uniform. My wife is comfortable in their presence and always appears happy upon my return at the end of the visit.
My husband and I are very pleased with the care. All staff are on time, kind and respectful of needs. When talking to office staff, they are also helpful and understanding. My mother-in-law is always happy to see the staff and enjoys their conversations.
