We are very glad that we chose Chamomile Care to help us look after our dad in his final few weeks. We needed several short visits a day with 2-handled care which can be difficult to organise. The team went out of their way to ensure that we always knew who was coming and to fix any problems - such as the hospital bed suddenly developing a fault. It was reassuring that we could always ring at any time and speak to one of the team, and they were happy to come out and help. All the carers were kind, compassionate and professional. Their support meant that dad could stay at home which was what we all wanted. We would certainly recommend this caring Care Company.
Glad we were able to support your family so your dad could have his final wishes, Thank you for your review, I will be sure to pass on your kind words to the team.
Excellent and friendly service. Particularly impressive was the carers' ability to stick to their timetable, something that other care providers that we know of or have used have found difficult to achieve.
Many thanks.
I have been with Chamomile Care for many years.. The carers are all different but the service they have given me has been excellent. They are professional, supportive, good listeners, efficient and intelligent. I am very happy to have them care for me.
Thank you for your lovely review, I will pass on your kind words to the Team.
The team at Chamomile Care are delightful. From their initial email to finding me a suitable helper, who is an absolute delight. Being neurodivergent I need support that is non judgemental. It seems to me this is very much the case.
Many thanks for taking the time to review, I will pass on to the Team.
I find the service efficient and reliable and cogniscent of my needs.

I would like to recommend Chamomile care to anyone who needs personal care. The Management team and their staff do an excellent service to their clients. The weekly rota schedule comes in advance to the clients inbox which is very helpful. They consider clients request carefully and satify their requests immediately. They are very flexible and have 24/7 service to answer clients calls. The care support also very good.
Thank you for a lovely review, I will pass on your kinds words to the Team.
My parents have used Chamomile Care for about 2 years now. Over that time their care needs have varied greatly and Chamomile has always gone above and beyond to make things work for us. The staff are kind and friendly. They often have stepped in for unexpected situations eg hospital stays or transport issues. The admin team are calm and reassuring, we have come to rely on them greatly. I would definitely recommend Chamomile Care to other in our position!
Such a lovely review, Thank you. I will pass your kind words onto the Team
The owner and office staff are very attentive and respond quickly to requests and information.
I was particularly pleased to engage with a smaller local company, having had not such a good experience with large national provider.
Many thanks for your review, I will pass on your kind words to the Team.
The carers are always kind and patient, they don't rush Mum to get on to their next visit.
The managers are very supportive and responsive to any changing needs and situations.
We couldn't have managed to keep mum in her own home without their help.
Thank you for your lovely review, it's been a pleasure to assist your Mum. I'll be sure to pass on your kind words to the Care Workers and the rest of the management team.
From the beginning, we met one of the management team who was professional, friendly, and very helpful. The carers have all been conscientious, respectful, and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would thoroughly recommend their services.
Thank you for a lovely review, I will pass your kind words to the Team.
They did not do their job correctly so my mother's health went downhill very fast. I contacted Chamomile Care and asked what to do. They responded and they worked very hard on getting capacity and I got them back which made my mother very happy in her last days of her life.
Many thanks for your lovely review, It was a pleasure caring for your mother. I'll be sure to pass on your kind words to the team.
Chamomile Care have provided support to my mother-in-law for 8 months. The care staff have been so kind and supportive. There are always the same regular care staff which has resulted in positive relationships. The office staff have always been extremely responsive to any concerns, finding solutions to any small issues raised. The care has always centred on my mother-in-law's needs and wishes. Would highly recommend them.
Thank you for your lovely review, your mother-in-law will be truly missed. I will pass on your words to the team.
What started with light cleaning and care visits 2-3 times a week turned into 24 hour, one to one care, with 3 carers a day doing 8 hour shifts, as Mum's dementia unexpectedly and rapidly became more severe. The staff are truly angels and we will always be very grateful for their kindness and compassion and for going the extra mile to treat Mum with dignity and respect and help her to have as good a quality life as possible, as we lived so far away, before we moved her into a specialist care home recently. I would highly recommend them.
Thank you for your lovely review. It was a pleasure providing care to your mother and the whole Team miss her greatly. Warm greetings from the Care Manager.
Chamomile Care have been helping to support both of my parents with their different needs for the last three years. Mum has Alzheimer's disease which is getting progressively worse and has good days and bad. Chamomile understand what is needed to ensure she can continue to live with my father in their own home hopefully for as long as possible. They help Mum with personal care and also help Dad (a wheelchair user since his stroke) by driving and accompanying him to church, a day-centre and appointments, both medical and social, when family can not step in. These are weekly and ad-hoc. We are very grateful to the Chamomile team for their continuing professionalism and flexibility at times when there are unavoidable changes and/or things need to be done at the last minute.
Thank you Debbie for your review, I will pass it on to the team.
Camomile Care were always there in our family's hour of need. Really helped us when we needed respite care for my mum and dad. Not an easy thing to do as it was not just one individual they needed to look after, but both and both with varying degrees of ill health. Would highly recommend them to others looking for at home care.
Many thanks Vicky for this review, I will pass on your positive review to the team.
All Chamomile Care staff, who I've met, take their jobs seriously. The carers realise that it is important to keep things light-hearted and yet to treat the clients with respect. I am new to this situation but realise that the best carers are those who get on equally with the clients and their family. Most of your carers 'fit the bill'. We both have confidence in their practical skills too.
Thank you very much for your review, it is much appreciated.
Throughout registration, assessment and care everybody at Chamomile Care were professional and very thorough. The care manager came to his home to complete the necessary paperwork. She explained everything very well ensuring that my father was always consulted. She returned nearer the time to shadow his carer and made careful notes to ensure that the transition would be as smooth as possible.
His needs were met brilliantly and the engagement with him was excellent. He very much enjoyed the visits and I felt confident that not only was he safe but also that he was happy with the situation.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Chamomile Care to others and will be sure to use them again as the necessity arises.
Many thanks.
The manager and his wonderful team could not have been more supportive, especially in making difficult decisions, or empathetic. They all worked together so well.
I cannot thank them enough for helping me make my dad's wish come true to be at home at this time…it meant everything to us as a family, his children, grandchildren and yes great-grandchildren, to be able to spend time with him, which at that time was impossible in hospital, is beyond anything in the world.
Thank you again, team manager.
Thank you for your beautiful, kind words. It is heartwarming to know that we could make a difference and help you and your family. I will be forwarding your review to all the staff directly involved in your dad's care.
Highly rate Chamomile care, excellent service from start to finish. The first time I have had to use a care agency, I found them friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. The care manager found me a lovely carer, we got on so well it was like having a family member care for me, I would recommend this company to my friends and loved ones.
Thank you for your lovely comments, I'll be sure to pass them on to the relevant people.

Meet the Team (1)
With more than 13 years’ experience in adult social care, Chamomile Care’s founder entered the sector following a significant and deliberate career change. Originally trained in electronics and communications engineering in the 1980s, he qualified to operate and maintain a ship's radio stations and served as a Radio Officer in the Merchant Navy.
After coming ashore, his career included technical roles maintaining bank dealing-room systems and office machinery, before progressing into a long-standing position with the Ministry of Defence. Over a 22-year period, he worked as both a civil servant and consultant, concluding his MoD career at RAF Brize Norton. This background fostered a strong understanding of governance, accountability, and the importance of clear operational standards.
Although an early ambition to pursue medical training could not be realised due to personal circumstances, a later opportunity to move into social care proved transformational. Since entering the sector, he has found adult social care to be both professionally and personally rewarding, supporting individuals with diverse needs while upholding dignity, safety, and independence.
Experience gained within the MoD has translated directly into care delivery, particularly in relation to quality assurance, compliance, and consistency. High standards are expected not only in the care provided to clients, but also in the training, professionalism, and support offered to Care Workers.
Chamomile Care was established in response to concerns about care quality observed elsewhere in the sector, with a clear commitment to doing things better. Alongside hands-on experience, the founder holds both Level 3 and Level 5 Diplomas in Health and Social Care, reinforcing a strong theoretical and regulatory foundation.
Training and workforce development remain central to the organisation’s ethos, reflecting a philosophy often attributed to Richard Branson: “Train people well enough so they can leave, treat them well enough so they don’t.”
Today, 87% of Chamomile Care’s Care Workers are either undertaking or already hold a Level 3 qualification, 92% have been with the organisation for more than two years, and 25% for over four years, figures that significantly exceed sector averages. The organisation is also a proud Oxford Living Wage employer, reflecting its commitment to fair pay, staff wellbeing, and sustainable, high-quality home care across Oxfordshire.
