I am moving house, so I am now unable to stay with them.
All the care that I have received has been professional and caring, all the carers make me feel comfortable with them and not embarrassed. They all have a good sense of humour, necessary I expect, as this is not an easy job and they always ask if they can do anything else for me while they are there.
Unfortunately I am moving house so am unable to stay with them
Kingfisher Homecare provides a domiciliary package of care to my son. I find the carers kind, flexible and caring and communication is good. The service enables my son to live independently in his own home. I can be sure that someone who knows my son will always turn up to provide invaluable support. I know I can rely on Kingfisher Homecare. Thank you for everything.
Thank you for your kind review, feedback is always important to us and we are always looking at ways we can improve.
We have been using Kingfisher Home Care to provide care for my wife's elderly parents for over a year now and we cannot speak highly enough of them. The managers and the team of carers are all amazing. They provide visits during the day to ensure that they are fed, take their meds, and help with personal hygiene. What we love about them is that they do care about our parents - they don't just 'go through the motions'. They will have a chat and a joke to lift their spirits, they will flag up if they spot anything that may be of concern, and they will do the odd bit of emergency shopping if needed. We feel so lucky and grateful to have found this team of lovely, genuine people.
Thank you so much for your valuable feedback. We count ourselves very lucky to have such a great team of carers.
Kingfisher Home Care provided an efficient and effective care regime for my wife each evening. In so doing, they relieved me of the stress and worry of having to prepare my wife for bed each evening. My wife appeared to enjoy the special care provided by the Kingfisher staff who attended her.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your kind review; it is always nice to give positive feedback to the staff - I know they all thoroughly enjoyed spending time with your wife.
This company stepped in where others couldn't, for which we were very grateful. We needed support for a short period whilst on holiday in the area and they were happy to provide it. All four of the staff we met were warm, friendly, caring and professional and drew on years of experience in the sector. They treated my husband with respect at all times, arriving when they said they would and carrying out their duties with good humour. We would be very happy if they were my husband's regular carers back at home and we can't recommend this company highly enough.
Thank you for the lovely feedback, I will pass it on to our care team. I know they all enjoyed meeting you and your husband.
My father's experience with Forest Green and all of its employees has been excellent. At the age of 93, after a fall, it was clear that Dad needed help to stay in his home of 30 years. The manager and her team enabled that and have kept him safe and very happy from day one. They have always gone the extra mile when Dad needed it. My brother and I are not local and they have been flexible in providing additional support (eg cleaning, laundry and shopping) at an affordable cost. Communication is excellent and I have no reservation in recommending their services. Thank you, Forest Green.
I was passed the details of the above care service. I remember thinking if they do what they say on the package what a brilliant care service, they 100% do! Nothing is too much trouble for them. Medication, personal care, cooking meals. Appointments - taking them ie. podiatrist, hospital appointments, shopping etc. Medication given, communication, transparency, approachable, conscientious, absolutely 100%.

Having worked in the electrical wholesale industry for 20 years, in December 2021 I decided to have a complete career change and joined Forest Green care services, where I was brought in to help with the Human Resources and office side of the business.
Due to unforeseen circumstances and after completing all my mandatory care training, I ended up spending a large percentage of my time out in the field doing home care instead of the office-based side of the industry.
Luckily I found myself really enjoying that side of the industry and it certainly helps to understand all areas of the business.
Myself and my partner are currently halfway through our 3-year plan to get the business fully established, like all businesses the first 6 months were a struggle but we are now in a position and way ahead of our 3-year plan to get our business fully established.
We recently changed the company name to Kingfisher Home Care Ltd (March 2023) to rebrand and celebrate the beginning of a new chapter for the company.
Our motto is all about going above and beyond for our service users and staff, I believe that is what sets us apart from other care providers.
After gaining valuable experience working in a care home, Chloe started up her own business during COVID-19. She worked tirelessly to get the business up and running and was regularly working 16-hour days, 7 days a week.
Once you get to know Chloe and that tough outer shell is removed, she is the kindest and most caring person you could ever wish to meet. She will always go the extra mile for her service users and staff, and that approach has been instrumental in the last couple of years in establishing the business.
