Compared to previous agencies I can highly recommend Walfinch.
The care, support and compassion is such a massive improvement and would definitely recommend Walfinch.
If you want to put your trust in an agency to care for your loved one then without a doubt Walfinch is the one.
Lovely, caring, polite and trustworthy carers alongside the management team that support their staff and the clients they look after.
Grateful to every member of the team.
Thank you for your Review, we are pleased that our field care staff and office team are able to contribute so proactively and positively to your Mum's support.
I can't thank Walfinch enough for the care and support they provide my grandmother. Their communication is great with myself and my family and they look after Nan very well, her partner also finds them very helpful . Thank you
Thank you for your Review, that is great to hear. We pride ourselves on constant communications from our office support team with clients and their families.
If you do have a worry or concern it is very easy to ring the office and have a word. Someone will always get back to you and help to get your concerns sorted. I find that everyone is very supportive and willing to help if needed. Obviously the Company/set up is not perfect but I think they would be hard to beat. I have one carer to do a proper shower once a week and a visit every evening with one carer to sort out bedtime. All good
Please also do email me directly to share your feedback and/or recommendations on how we could strive to be closer to perfect.
I'm very pleased with the service I receive great bunch of carers nothing to much trouble and very caring and if I ask for them to do anything else they will if they can help and I have had no complaints about anyone I would like to give a big thank you to all that care for me
Thank you, we love to get feedback like this as being able to respond to individual needs and preferences is a huge part of our service delivery.
The care team are so kind and caring toward my Uncle. The team are very considerate towards my Uncle spending the time when talking and listening to him as after the stroke his ability to speak is reduced.
My uncle has had a couple of health issues which have required medical attention from the Doctor and local District Nurse. I'm thankful to the Walfinch care team that they identified the problems early and organised the medical care directly on my behalf with the GP surgery. Using Walfinch has reduced the stress levels involved in having an elderly relative who needs long term care.
Thank you for your review. We are delighted to be able to support your Uncle and enable him to be more comfortable at his home.
Overall, to date, since becoming a service user of Walfinch in 2024, l've found the management to be prompt, efficient and professional in their dealing with enquiries and other matters - always.
The staff (care support) who visits have usually been courteous and helpful, l feel reasonable contented in their care and ability to meet my needs wherever possible! Thanks.
Thank you very much for your review. We are really pleased to hear that you are satisfied with the level of assistance we have been able to offer you. It is our privilege to continue supporting your needs moving forward.
I was caring for my elderly mum at home who had advanced alzheimer's and my elderly father
I turned to Walfinch for support in getting mum ready for her day centre , assisting with personal care which was becoming a challenge
The carers were all very kind , empathetic and supportive
The registered manager has been so helpful, reassuring and easy to communicate with. She has always responded quickly to any queries or changes I needed
Sadly my mum eventually went into care and now Walfinch are intermittently providing some support for my dad
It is particularly helpful that the length of visits can be tailored to needs , and the cost is reasonable too
Thank you for your Review, and it was a pleasure to be able to support your Mum. I am glad we can continue to work with you in the occasional support we can provide for your Dad too.
All admin staff and carers are very professional, kind and helpful. The schedule of carer visits with details of times and personnel is invaluable but naturally at risk of short term variation due to various imponderables.
Thank you for your marvellous Review, and I am glad our process of sending out rotas in advance works well for you.
We are very pleased with the the care provided by Walfinch -the carers are reliable, polite, kind and caring. Good communication with the management and admin team -.very flexible with scheduling and accommodating extra visits at short notice. We would highly recommend Walfinch to anyone requiring care at home.
Thank you, and all the attributes you have mentioned are a very important part of the Walfinch team delivery, and a big part of our team training, to ensure the best possible experience for our clients.
I have been very impressed with the care I have received. The carers arrive at the correct time and are always polite, helpful and cheerful. I do feel vulnerable because my mobility is so limited and they treat me with sensitivity and encouragement. I live alone and my only son does what he can but is busy with a full time job, two children and a wife who has terminal cancer. For this reason I don't know how I would cope without the wonderful support I get from Walfinch.
Thank you, it is great for our staff to receive such a positive feedback across all these areas.
They were wonderful. Unfailingly cheerful and very professional. Several carers became Mums friends and she looked forward to their visit.
Walfinch were very professional as an organisation and there was always someone on the end of the phone when needed. They were flexible when we had to put Mum into respite care and overall we were delighted with the service. Simply put, we couldn't have given Mum a home with us without their help. It meant so much to us.
Thank you, we are so pleased to have been able to play such a vital part in Mum being able to stay at home for so long.
As a family, we know Mum is happy and settled with the care she receives. Thank you Walfinch! We could not be without you.
Thank you Sharon, that is so great to hear. Looking after your mother is a privilege for all the team.
I would recommend Walfinch to a friend. They are good value for money. The carers are friendly and always try to help us - a few of the team go the extra mile to make us comfortable. Any problems we have encountered have been satisfactorily resolved.
Delivering a flexible service and going the extra mile to ensure any day-to-day issues are resolved is a key part of our manager roles and all staff training.
I have been with Walfinch now for coming up to a year and I have no complaints. I find the carers are very good at their job and they are very caring. I haven’t really had any problems with them and nothing is really a problem, they all do what they can for you. This is the second clear company I have and I must admit that this care company is marvellous with everything that they do and they’re not in a rush and they take time to explain everything to you. They are such a great bunch of men and women and I am very thankful for all they do for me and appreciate everything. I would like to thank the managing director and all your staff, you’re doing a fantastic job and it’s nice to feel you are human and not just a number.
Thank you for your kind words, our care staff go to great lengths to ensure their support is the best possible every day, so they will be so pleased to receive such great feedback.
We are very pleased with the service and care that Walfinch give to our mother. The carers and management are very kind and courteous to our needs and nothing is too much trouble if we have to make contact to make any changes to visits or the care plan. We have been with Walfinch for nearly two years now and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for care.
Thank you. It is a pleasure for all of our team to work with you and your family to provide the care and support to your Mother.
I have been very happy with the service and care that Walfinch has provided for my wife over the last few months. Both carers and management have provided a good service. The carers are very kind and caring and take care of all her personal needs. Apart from the occasional timekeeping not being as on schedule due to carers being delayed, I am generally very happy with the service.
Thank you for your review and I am very happy you are pleased with the Walfinch service. Occasionally our care staff will be delayed by a previous call running over or road conditions that are outside our control. We have a process in place where we will call our clients if this is the case, and inform them of our delay if it is going to be more than a few minutes.
So far good service. Friendly staff and helpful, only been using these carers for about 3 months, was very happy with the manager who came out to see me for the assessment and told us when they could start.
Thank you so much for your positive review. Full interaction between our client families, managers and care staff is really important.
I am the son and power of attorney of my mother. In May 2021 her existing care provider, suddenly and abruptly, closed down. Walfinch, having had the experience of my mother when staff worked for the predecessor, were very keen to extend their care and help to us. The transfer went smoothly. In December, my mother went into hospital, unable to move her legs. On release, she could move but had other complications that we were not informed of. Over Christmas, our time was wretched but was made better by the care and professionalism of the Walfinch staff - well trained, respectful and caring. They do, at times, a difficult job; well recommended.
Thank you for your review. We ensure that all our carers are fully trained to the highest standards and that our support is delivered with the utmost level of respect and care.
The carers themselves are kind and considerate with high attention to detail and, in these Covid times, their hygiene regimen is very good.
Thank you for the positive feedback. We are really pleased you are happy with our service. It is our priority to be reliable on call times, as we recognise how important this is to all those we support.
