Thank you and your team so much for their care and understanding of Dad. Not always an easy man and they coped so well and grew to understand him. Carolyn was his favourite and she always managed to extract smiles from him. 
The care in his last week was so respectful and exceptional providing him with dignity in his final days. 
You always managed to step up the care when it was needed. Not an easy rostering feat, but we were very grateful.

Best wishes from us all and our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to Dad's care.

Thank goodness for the Home Care team, they came to our rescue when we needed care provision asap.
Peter the Director is a lovely, caring, compassionate person who tailored and suggested the care we needed.
The Team were lovely, qualified and considerate to my mums needs.

Overall Experience
I am so grateful for the service provided by your company . There is a high level of professionalism by all involved while also being friendly and very approachable. The carers are obviously very committed to what they do and what they do has made a real difference to my parents and to us .
I particularly appreciate the communication both with us but also with other services as and when needed . I really feel my parents are in safe hands . It's a huge support to all of us and helps relieve some of the worry we hold , especially if there are times we can't get to them .

So thank you very much for the quality of service you are providing .

Overall Experience

The Home Team have supported my parents in a caring, professional and friendly manner that has helped maintain their independence. The carers that are rostered are reliable, timely and responsive to changing needs and tasks. The Management Team in the office have listeneed to any requests and concerns and have always looked to find workable solutions for my parents' needs. And most importantly, they are happy with the service being provided and are confident that if things change, The Home Team will be able to respond and support them.

Overall Experience

The team from Home Care have made a big difference to my 93 year old Mum being able to continue to live independently as possible in her own home. This additional help means my Mum has regular contact outside of her regular family visits, other people to converse with & assistance which she decides on. Mum was very reluctant to start additional home care but she is now its biggest advocate.

Overall Experience

I contacted The Home Team after a very disappointing experience with another care organisation. From this first contact, The Home Team have taken care to understand my Mum's needs and have responded with care and flexibility, on occasion going above and beyond my expectations. The team in the office are always responsive. I appreciate that they are a small team and immediately know me and my Mum when I make contact. As I live some distance from my Mum, I haven't met the carers who visit her. I do know that my Mum is very happy with them and I appreciate the detailed notes they make on the app. I am very happy overall with the care The Home Team provide for my Mum and feel confident that they will be able to respond when her needs increase.

Overall Experience
After breaking my leg for the second time during 2025 and being on my own was quite seriously depressed about how I was going to manage looking after myself. I called various friends to see if they could point me in the direction of a care company that they would recommend and Nick and Ruby pointed me in the direction of Peter and his care company, The Home Team.
Peter, the owner of the company, came to visit me at home and I immediately felt that this company would be the one for me and the carers started caring for me a few days later.
Every single carer who visited me put me immediately at ease and the depression and position I found myself in lifted. Every carer who visited me was kindness itself and made me feel comfortable and all would offer to do anything they could to make my life easier and encouraged me to look on the bright side of life. I cannot thank Peter and his 'girls' enough.

Our experiences with The Home Team have been consistently excellent. After my wife's Parkinson's state deteriorated and she was given an additional dementia diagnosis, I recognised that I needed support at home. After a recommendation from a friend, I contacted The Home Team and encountered both professionalism and humanity. My options were clearly explained to me with the related costs. We started with a fairly modest package but subsequently increased the number of visits as I gained confidence that my wife is in safe hands, whether I am in another room or out for an all-day hike.
I have been really impressed with the individual carers, all of whom we both consider more as friends than home helpers. The management team too is also highly accessible, friendly, and inspire confidence.

I can thoroughly recommend The Home Team, whilst there are probably cheaper providers, the service delivered is worth every penny.

My 98 year old mother manages very well in her own home. However, she was lonely and I thought she may benefit from a little help alongside some companionship.
Whilst researching the best Care agencies, The Home Team was recommended by a friend.
Initially I set up an hour's visit once a week. The number of visits has gradually increased over time according to my mother's needs.
The small team of Carers are cheerful, considerate and helpful. They have come to know my mother well and are very respectful of her preferences when carrying out tasks.
The online communication through the App keeps me well informed of my mother's needs, moods etc.
The friendly administration staff are readily accessible. A weekly roster is sent in advance and any requests for changes are managed efficiently.

I would like to express my gratitude to the The Home Team team for the excellent care service they provide.

Overall Experience

Earlier this year, my father was faced with a new and complex health challenge and needed extra support - so we feel very fortunate to have found The Home Team through a friend. During intensive medical treatment, he has benefitted enormously from morning and evening visits from carers who are genuinely attentive. They are thoughtful, flexible and perceptive, and have done a huge variety of helpful, practical things, from mowing the lawn, to doing laundry and washing up and leaving him reminders. When my father needed additional medical care they contacted the GP immediately and followed up, which was invaluable. Their help isn't only practical - the opportunity to chat during their visits has been incredibly helpful for his wellbeing. Now that his needs have changed, we have adjusted his carer visits, and this was done with great speed and flexibility. I cannot recommend The Home Team highly enough - our ongoing experience of the care they provide is everything we had hoped for.

From the very beginning The Home Team has shown genuine empathy, respect, kindness and the upmost professionalism when caring for my grandparents. Although my grandparents were initially resistant to the help, the team has been patient, earned their trust and become people my grandparents are pleased to see.
The team has full medication management, ensuring meds are ordered, collected and administered which is reliable, meticulous with clear and accurate records kept.
The communication is excellent, they respond quickly to any concerns and are willing to adjust the visits when needed. The app they use is a great way for us to be kept up to date on a daily basis.

It is abundantly clear for anyone to see that this isn't just a job to them, they genuinely care for the people they look after. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Home Team to other families looking for reliable and dependable care for their loved ones and who want complete peace of mind.

The Home Team supported Dad and enabled him to remain in his home for an additional 14 months, which was his wish. Having started with an initial welfare and companionship visit, this was changed to lunchtime visits with delicious home cooked meals, then daily morning visits were added to assist with personal care as needed, breakfast and medication. As Dad's forgetfulness increased we included daily evening visits to check on Dad's welfare, help with finding the correct television channel and ensure he ate some supper; the carer would cook Dad fresh eggs which he loved! The office team were fantastic at swiftly bringing about additional visits as we needed them. The app is an excellent source of communication keeping the family in the loop. We would highly recommend The Home Team.

The Home Team looked after my husband for 12 months.
The carers became his friends, they cared for him, talked to him with respect, ensuring his dignity was maintained and advised me, ensuring that he had the best possible experience in spite of his physical disabilities. They were so very kind.
The office staff were supportive, proactively advising me. Again, they were so much more than I could have expected. I don't think I could have managed without their advice and support.

The Home Team gave my dear husband a happy year, his final year of life. I will always be grateful that they were such a positive force in our lives.

Superb care, cannot fault them at all for the care given to my mother over recent months and ongoing.
Everyone is helpful and amazingly kind to my mother. Any concerns I had about appointing home care for her vanished the moment they turned up. My mother loves the care and support they provide to her.
They are hands on, they deal with whatever needs dealing with straight away and they keep me in the loop at all times. They also visit my aunt and again their support is excellent. They also respect her property and wishes.

I have no hesitation in recommending The Home Team to anyone looking for quality home care for a loved one.

After a challenging change in circumstances, I engaged Home Team to provide personal care. I've been using them for 4 months, during which they have arrived exactly on time on every occasion. Each carer has proved to be efficient, practical & friendly whilst providing very professional care. The development of a care plan has been very thorough and the system of notes & recording means staff always arrive well briefed on any changes or nuances in my evolving needs.

Overall Experience

The Home Team have been supporting my mother for more than 10 months now by taking her shopping on a weekly basis as well as doing whatever other errands might be necessary. They work in a small team and thus my mother knows the lovely, friendly ladies who come and vice versa. They have always turned up and 99 % on time which is a brilliant track record.

As I live abroad, that this all works so well is a huge relief. I very much appreciate the weekly reports via the app and the invoicing also works well. The management team responds quickly to any emails I send. Can highly recommend them.

Overall Experience

The whole experience of having carers visit my parents 3 times a day having come home from respite care, was made very easy by the Home Team. From the initial interview with the managing director and then working with all office staff and carers has been a very straightforward experience. Despite some very challenging and obstructive behaviour to start with from parents, the Home Team showed nothing but patience, empathy and professionalism on a daily basis. I have nothing but praise for the team and would strongly recommend them for support to any family member to be cared for at home.

Very pleased with The Home Team's care of my parents under, at times, very trying conditions. I was particularly impressed by the management of the company and their willingness to be flexible in terms of offering support at short notice as the challenges faced by my parents ebbed and flowed. Our monitoring of the care was made so simple via an app and brought reassurance to the wider family. It was always very easy to speak to the management on the phone, at any time of the week or weekend, and I always received a prompt response via email.
