A really first class personal service from a caring and friendly team where nothing is to much trouble. When you are living alone their visits are a tremendous comfort as they appreciate your problems.
The Home Team have provided a professional approach to caring for my aunt. As her care needs have increased they where able to respond to meet her needs. They have always responded with care and understanding when her family have questions.
The impact of The Home Team on my dad's final months cannot be overstated. They didn't just provide care; they brought light into his days, and I am profoundly grateful for their unwavering support and kindness, which made all the difference for him during his most vulnerable last months.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Home Team for anyone seeking exceptional care that goes beyond the ordinary, where genuine companionship, practical help, dignity, and warmth are not just offered but embodied. They are a shining example of what compassionate caregiving should be, and I will forever be grateful for their positive impact on my father's life.
We couldn't have picked a better team. The care provided for my husband in 2023 is exceptional, compassionate, considerate, professional and calm. The support and kindness shown to me and the family are brilliant, truly working as a team to do the best for my husband, particularly as he became more frail. Carers always arrived with a smile and kind words. Many thanks.
My aunt got to the stage where she needed extra help dressing and washing so I contacted The Home Team. The whole experience was very easy and friendly, the carers were lovely and friendly. Even though it was for a short time I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone who asks.
I use The Home Team team as need to travel to London every fortnight and require a carer to attend my dad to ensure he is eating his meals whilst I am away. I have found the team very professional with regard to setting up the service, with the initial review taking place to assess my dad's as well as my own needs. At the moment his requirement is light touch though this will increase as the dementia takes hold. Overall I am very pleased with the standard of care, the individuals who attend and the level of professionalism. Whilst I am away I am comforted my dad is receiving the best level of care possible, a big thank you to the Home Team.
Because there is a dedicated team around each client, they get to know the clients and can tell when something is amiss which has saved my mother's life on a couple of occasions.
We've been using the team for a number of years and can't fault them.
The Home Team is quite excellent. And have substantially added to my quality of life. Special mention to whoever selects the team members. What a wonderfully cheerful, efficient and friendly lot! With them, what a real pleasure it is to start and end my day. So a big ‘Thank You’ to one and all. Not forgetting the lovely ladies in the office, who do such a wonderful job, juggling with the availability of team members, when compiling the weekly rosters.
I continue to be very impressed with The Home Team service which has been in place for my mum for the last six months since having a fall. My mum has nothing but positive comments about all the care staff. The daily visits have allowed her to build confidence and regain her independence. The entire Home Team (from the manager through to the carers on the frontline) have been understanding and responsive to my mum's needs and I recommend them highly.
I have been very happy with the service provided for my mother and the carers have improved my mother's mood and continue to make her happy and reassure her by helping with so many tasks around the house. The girls manage to do so much in the hour they are there and the additional care to ensure her beloved cat litter tray and food is done helps both myself and my mother. I would highly recommend The Home Care Team.
My aunt, who has mixed dementia, has been able to stay in her own home longer due to the care and attention of The Home Team. The carers treated my aunt as an individual and built up a lovely relationship.
Their system of payments is very efficient and once set up causes no problems, as it is automatic.
They record their work electronically and this seems to work.
They are always asking if there is further work to undertake before they leave the premises
As stated earlier, a change of carer causes no problem, but in my particular case a change of time, due to exceptional circumstances, is a problem if I am not informed. The change of time is not always passed on to me. A review of the weekly roster would be the answer, via email or failing that a simple phone call would suffice.
Apart from the time issue, I would recommend the Home Team for care in the home.
Dear John, thank you very much for your review, as you and I have since discussed, we are very sorry that you have not always been informed of any last-minute changes to your roster, it is our policy to always inform our clients of all changes, we recognise how important it is to arrive when we are...
Mum was reluctant to accept help initially but soon began recommending The Home Team to her friends. She really valued the fact that the care plan could be personalised to her needs, helping her with whatever she needed or was worried about. All the carers were well trained and if they were new to Mum, had read the notes carefully. They were able to ramp up the care as Mum's health deteriorated. The management team are very engaged and responsive to emails and phone calls. The carers told Mum how much they like working for The Home Team. We also had a live-in carer for the last week of Mum's life and The Home Team carers worked seamlessly with him to meet her needs. Highly recommended and worth paying for.
I can not sing the praises of this company highly enough. We had been using their services for several months for my mother who has Alzheimer's. My mother, unfortunately, fell and broke her wrist. We felt she may benefit from more round-the-clock care and found, what we thought, was a great care home. Unfortunately, it was nothing like we expected! Four days later our mum is back home and extremely happy to see her Home Team Care friends once again. If you are looking for a team that are genuinely interested in the welfare and care of a loved one. Please consider this company. The carers interact socially and emotionally and their daily reports are reassuring and informative.
My mother-in-law looked forward to their twice-daily visits and got so much from the care and interaction the team gave.
As my mother-in-law's needs increased, The Home Team were able to work with them without any difficulty.
I would be happy to recommend The Home Team to anyone. You will get a first-class, caring service with a business that seeks out the best staff.
The carers are very professional and have handled my father with kindness and sensitivity, alongside doing all the 'jobs' we have asked them to do. The management are responsive and it's good to be able to access the written notes after each visit. I would definitely recommend The Home Team to anyone who needs help looking after relatives.
Since engaging The Home Team to help with the care of my cousin, I have been more than impressed with the exceptional care they have provided. Nothing is too much trouble for them to undertake caring help with medication, washing, cooking meals and other household duties. Most of all, the companionship and help they give have greatly improved his mental state. I would highly recommend them as they are fantastic.
I cannot recommend The Home Team highly enough! When Mum was desperate to return home from respite care, the Home Team were fantastic in their prompt and professional response, meeting to discuss her likes and dislikes and arranging a care plan to ensure all her needs were met. Unlike other care services in the past, Mum had regular carers which she found reassuring and all were professional, reliable, friendly, kind, and caring. Mum told me they couldn’t do enough for her and we both really appreciated the excellent service provided.
Excellent personalised service that has been a godsend during a spell of very poor health. Flexibility over timings, friendly and capable staff and very good rates. Will stick with this company long term.
My Mum enjoys there visits immensely, I can now relax knowing my Mum is fully taken care of each morning by the very kind and caring team of professional carers.
Very well led by the care manager, who is always prompt to answer any questions.
