The carers provided by Valour are kind, professional and have improved my relative's care. My relative has very advanced Parkinson's and is fully bed bound, needing 24/7 support. The care home my relative was in previously was neglectful and abusive so it was decided the best option was to bring her
home. Her personal hygiene is greatly improved, she is much happier at home and the carers keep the house beautifully clean.

All the staff who attended were very courteous and respectful, I also felt they had a very caring nature . They only had a week before Mum passed away but in that short time it enabled me to have more quality time with my Mum . Thankyou to each and everyone of them

Valour Care looked after my Mother at home for the last 15 months of her life. The carers were always kind, professional and treated my mother with dignity and respect. The team never let us down despite having to call 4x daily.

They turn up on time if any problems occur they ring me up to tell me what is happening they do a brilliant job looking after my dad the staff are brilliant I have nothing but praise for them they make time to shake my dads hand and make a fuss of him I wish the other government agencies were as good

I have nothing but high praise for Valour care my elderly mother has been bed bound for over 5 years she has 4 care visits a day with 2 carers - we have been with Valour for 2 years and I can honestly say they are the best care company we have ever had - they are very thorough, polite and professional
with my mum and the extra care required for her dog ! They always make sure I am kept informed about every part of my mums care and definitely go the extra mile in looking after her. 100% would recommend

Valour have been extremely helpful with my Sister, they attend twice daily to administer medication and make sandwiches and snacks as required and carry out welfare checks etc
They always alert me to any issues and respond quickly to any changes we have to make in her care.
Very pleased with the service

Since commencement of the contract with Valour I have experienced 2 cases of gross misconduct and a safeguarding raised for staff who were falling asleep regularly on waking nights, 2 staff warned for excessive usage of phone whilst caring for my son. My son has a complex syndrome, nightly seizures
and is non verbal, autistic and is globally delayed and vulnerable. I was told staff were experienced but this proved not to be the case as all panicked in the event of my son having a seizure. The staff were only caught as I had camera footage in the home. Valour served notice to remove their services a few weeks after staff were sacked but remained in situ as there was no other provision to move to. It has taken months to find suitable provider and once Valour were alerted of a new provider they immediately gave 7 days notice and effectively left my son with NO care provision as the new provider had NO staff ready to take over in that time period. No duty of care. Absolutely disgusted.

Thankyou for taking the time to review our service. 11 months into providing care we received a report of 2 carers sleeping on duty. We followed our policies & procedures & both were suspended immediately,pending investigation. Following our policy we reported this ourselves as a safeguarding issue & the enquiry was closed because all procedures were followed. Both carers dismissed after investigation. We were unable to Spot Check night shifts as permission was declined, citing CCTV is monitored by parent & she would report any issue. As requested by parent all movements & sounds made by SU are recorded on the app, including time & action. eg 00.28 Teeth grinding 5 sec, Head shaking, Oxygen saturation 94% Heart rate 63. So constant phone use is expected for this degree of recording. All carers were experienced & trained in complex care. 28day Notice was given in August 2024 but only ended Feb 2025. We needed assistance after caring for my brother who had multiple cancers. We had managed ourselves for around 2 years but found it getting more demanding. We had carers calling 4 times daily and quite honestly couldn't be happier with the service.
The girls were all very good with my brother and most
importantly, he was happy for them to be in his home. They respected his wishes and were interested in his well-being.

I have had complete professionalism from the carers at all times, they are also friendly and polite and prompt, there has been the odd occasion when they have been late but have always kept me informed of how long they're going to be, I find they will go above and beyond if needed and I would certainly

We are more than happy with the care workers who always arrive with a smile on their faces, they are very polite and their care for my dad is exceptional. They arrive on time and do ring to say if they are running late and always find time to have a chat and ask if they can do anything else for us.

The carers attended my wife for 3 weeks at home. They were polite, caring and obviously well-trained.
Communication from the manager was prompt if the carers recognised an issue.

The girls did a good job looking after my mother, always friendly and efficient. She suffers with dementia and they were careful to explain what they were doing and to help her with tablets.
Unfortunately on a few occasions, they left early before the hour was up.

Since coming out of the hospital in December 2023, my grandma received the most wonderful care from Valour Healthcare. She always had such a positive experience with each carer who came and was always praising them! No job was too much for them and they were always willing to help in any way they could.
My grandma enjoyed their company so much, she enjoyed getting to know each one of the carers individually. They always had the time to chat to her, which is lovely. My grandma felt very safe and well looked after during each visit, from personal care to support getting into bed each night, which gave her great reassurance after being in the hospital for so long. Sadly, my grandma passed away on 25th February 2024, to which one of the carers unfortunately found her. But they still stayed to offer support until the family arrived, which we will forever be thankful for. From all the family, we will always remember the wonderful care you gave, and we will always be grateful.

I just wanted to say I got back yesterday after spending 3 nights at Mum and Dad's and I have to say your staff are so lovely with Mum and Dad. Professional whilst also being so caring and empathic. So nice to know that Mum and Dad are in good hands especially as I live in another part of the country
so can't be there all the time.
