Genesees Care

I have carers twice a day, they are wonderful, so kind and understanding, they know just what I need and I couldn't do without them, they really do care. I have had other carers and the Genesees ones are far superior, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.

We were able to enjoy his company as family members again, rather than being his carers so I can't thank them enough for what they did, and would definitely recommend them.

The home care given to my father was outstanding, the carers were professional and knowledgeable, but importantly they were caring, took a genuine interest in him, and took the time to get to know his likes and dislikes. The carers were so incredibly compassionate, I can't praise them highly enough and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for home care.

My father-in-law was in his early 90s and becoming more frail. He did not want to move into a nursing home - he wanted to stay in his own home. So my wife and I engaged Genesees to look after him. I have to say, we could not have hoped for better carers. The way that they looked after him with and the dignity they gave him was exceptional. The way the carers treated him, it never felt like they were just doing their job - they genuinely cared about his health and wellbeing. Even other people who would visit his home (like his nephew and the gardener) would comment to us about how well Genesees looked after him. We were travelling overseas when he passed, and it is a source of comfort to us that they were with him when that happened. He was surrounded by people whose company he cherished, and who cared deeply for him. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Thank you for allowing my father in law the dignity he so well deserved even towards the end. All the carers have been so professional, kind and so thoughtful to all my father in laws needs. You treated him like one of your own members of family. You even supported me when times were very tough too. Thank you so much for all the first class care you gave to my father in law, nothing was too much trouble.

I met a staff member from Genesees Care whilst comparing 3 different local care providers.

Having already seen 2 companies I thought my mind was made up, however during my 1st meeting with this member of staff I found that his approach and genuine appreciation of a family's care needs really resonated. He had a great answer for every question so much so that I almost thought that the responses were too good and not possible to deliver. That said, I changed my mind from my original selection & decided to work with this staff member & his team to see if they could really live up to the promises made.

All I can say is that from the point of engagement they did not disappoint.

We started with weekend & lunch time cover with an existing private carer (who subsequently introduced Genesees to some of her other clients) & moved in to full time live in care.

Eventually we moved my father to residential care, but the care and support provided by Genesees were exemplary & almost 50% cheaper than my 1st choice. Bravo!!!

My PA's are reliable, cheerful, competent, well-presented and professional. They wear gloves when handling food. They're warm and friendly.

My PA was immediately helpful, tactful, warm, kind, supportive and practical.

I look forward to seeing my carer. She is always cheerful and so efficient. She takes a great interest, not only in me but my family and even drops in to see how I am if she is passing. I always feel better after she has been!

Genesees have done a brilliant job looking after my Dad. He declined to have carers for a long time and furiously turned them away. However, Genesees have worked hard to establish a good relationship with him and help my dad to know that he still has control over his situation. Recently, my dad was very unwell, and the fantastic care manager was very responsive to quickly review him and put in more frequent care calls as soon as possible. Carers are friendly, polite, and professional. Well done Genesees

The care we received was always good, and any issues were addressed quickly. Very easy to talk to senior management and team do care about their clients. No visit was ever missed and if for any reason they may be delayed they would let their client know, I am happy to recommend to family and friends.

So happy to have the lovely carer from Genesees caring for my mother. The extra efforts are really appreciated and Mum looks forward to the visits. Very professional and efficient but also so kind and thoughtful. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Treat patients with respect.

All the carers are very nice and kind some are more helpful that others. Some will stay the full 20 minutes others are in and out in 5 minutes. The main problem I have is the language barrier. Some of them speak almost no English, although they are very nice, I am unable to communicate with them.

Since we started using Genesees they have been excellent. More than one member of our family is registered disabled with needs slightly different for each but nothing is too much trouble. Genesees are flexible and caring and treat it as assisting us instead of 'doing things for us'. They are easy to communicate with and deal with in general. I have no problem in recommending them as they have been a great support to us throughout. Most importantly the staff are genuine and understanding.

My dear neighbour was cared for by the carers of Genesees Care. The team were amazing, treating her with kindness and respecting her dignity. Nothing was too much trouble - she looked forward to their visits and friendly chats. They really did improve her life in so many ways. I would definitely recommend them to any family who needs help with their loved ones.

I can’t express enough how amazing all the team at Genesees are - they go above and beyond with their care. They were our grandmother's carers, and she adored them, as did we as a family. They made her life better with their positive, friendly and caring personalities. They were there at the end of the phone right up until our grandmother sadly passed away. I would recommend them to any family looking for help with their loved ones; they really are angels.
