We have had support for our adult daughter at home since January 2024. The care provided is mainly social and companionship as well as some personal care including feeding and assisting with washing/dressing. Following the approach for support, the agency was quick to attend for an assessment and the care commenced very soon afterwards. A number of carers are involved and we see certain ones regularly. Our daughter likes her carers. From our point of view, they are all very good and allow us to have some respite whilst they stay with our daughter. The support from management is also very good and the reliability of this company is excellent compared to some care agencies we have used in the past. So far there have only been two occasions when the expected carer was unable to attend however on both occasions they were able to supply a replacement at short notice. They are also willing to find staff at short notice if required on days when we would not normally use the agency.

We have just gone through transition of homecare team into our son's home where they are providing 24-hour care. The whole process of going through intros of management and staff to our son has been great. They have been honest and collaborative with our family throughout the whole process. We have now got to a point where we have agreed a care plan that is tailored to our son and it is being well implemented and delivered by his staff. Communication between the whole homecare team and our family has been really good and we are confident that our son is being well cared for.

The carers are all dedicated and professional. They go that extra mile to care for my father showing real kindness and compassion for our situation as a whole family. Their support is making my father’s remaining time with us as comfortable as possible and allowing us all to be together and make the most of this time as a family at home.

I have found MyHomeCare to be professional and kind. They have taken a lot of trouble to provide personalised support for my daughter. They have good systems in place for communication between me, the office and individual support workers and for monitoring my daughter’s wellbeing and activities during the day and night.

They have been able to provide continuity of care with a small, well-trained support team. This is particularly important so that my daughter can develop a relationship with known carers. They have gone over and above in researching and setting up varied activities for her which is much appreciated.

I've been trying to contact them for some private information I needed for a social worker and I few other people involved with me I tried to call and no one picked up to answer me so I went to the office and asked politely they then threatened me for no reason with the police. I did nothing wrong I just wanted the people who are involved with me to be able to contact them. I wasn't being disruptive or abusive. They've treated me disrespectfully at my own home and whenever I try contacting anyone from this company I have to make another review because they literally have me shaking and panicking with fear I don't know what to do now I guess it is all a part of the con servicing.
