I am so grateful for the professional service given to my mum during her care with your company, every carer involved in my mum's care was capable, loving and kind, and I never doubted that Mum was being cared for to a high standard.

Your company have been coming to care for my wife since November 2023. All the carers showed great compassion, tenderness and professionalism and considered my wife's inability to move and possible pain. Even though she was very ill she usually greeted each carer with a smile. She wanted to be at home and not go into a care home or hospice. Thank you so much as a company and please thank all the carers so much.

I had the pleasure of meeting one of the carers just on an off chance on Saturday, I've seen a few previously, they have all been lovely. But what a kind, compassionate lady, very thorough in her role. I was very impressed with how she treated my mother-in-law, in regards to hygiene and dignity. Even though my mother was insisting she didn't need it. The carer's encouragement and friendly manner confirmed in fact it was needed. She didn't just accept all was ok, but actually checked herself. Well done to this carer, what a beautiful caring person you showed yourself to be.

My Homecare provides good quality care to my mum. But not only are they there for Mum but Dad too in his caring role. I feel confident they are ok knowing My Homecare is visiting and giving them reassurance. It gives Dad confidence knowing they are visiting and can support him to look after Mum in their own home.

Reply from Louise Webster, Senior carer at The Care and Support Group North Yorkshire

Thank you for sharing your experience with My Homecare. We are delighted to know that our team has been there for both your mum and dad, providing reassurance and support. Very good and a big help in the morning when I am doing other things.
The carers are very friendly and helpful.

The only problem that I have had is when they come too early and I have not been notified of the change in time.

Reply from Louise Webster, Senior carer at The Care and Support Group North Yorkshire

Thank you for sharing your feedback! It's great to hear that the carers have been friendly and helpful. I apologise for any inconvenience caused by early visits without prior notification. Review of The Care and Support Group Tyneside from L P (Father of Client) published on 2 May 2024 Submitted via Website

We have had support for our adult daughter at home since January 2024. The care provided is mainly social and companionship as well as some personal care including feeding and assisting with washing/dressing. Following the approach for support, the agency was quick to attend for an assessment and the care commenced very soon afterwards. A number of carers are involved and we see certain ones regularly. Our daughter likes her carers. From our point of view, they are all very good and allow us to have some respite whilst they stay with our daughter. The support from management is also very good and the reliability of this company is excellent compared to some care agencies we have used in the past. So far there have only been two occasions when the expected carer was unable to attend however on both occasions they were able to supply a replacement at short notice. They are also willing to find staff at short notice if required on days when we would not normally use the agency.

We have just gone through transition of homecare team into our son's home where they are providing 24-hour care. The whole process of going through intros of management and staff to our son has been great. They have been honest and collaborative with our family throughout the whole process. We have now got to a point where we have agreed a care plan that is tailored to our son and it is being well implemented and delivered by his staff. Communication between the whole homecare team and our family has been really good and we are confident that our son is being well cared for.

The carers are all dedicated and professional. They go that extra mile to care for my father showing real kindness and compassion for our situation as a whole family. Their support is making my father’s remaining time with us as comfortable as possible and allowing us all to be together and make the most of this time as a family at home.

I have found MyHomeCare to be professional and kind. They have taken a lot of trouble to provide personalised support for my daughter. They have good systems in place for communication between me, the office and individual support workers and for monitoring my daughter’s wellbeing and activities during the day and night.

They have been able to provide continuity of care with a small, well-trained support team. This is particularly important so that my daughter can develop a relationship with known carers. They have gone over and above in researching and setting up varied activities for her which is much appreciated.

I've been trying to contact them for some private information I needed for a social worker and I few other people involved with me I tried to call and no one picked up to answer me so I went to the office and asked politely they then threatened me for no reason with the police. I did nothing wrong I just wanted the people who are involved with me to be able to contact them. I wasn't being disruptive or abusive. They've treated me disrespectfully at my own home and whenever I try contacting anyone from this company I have to make another review because they literally have me shaking and panicking with fear I don't know what to do now I guess it is all a part of the con servicing.

Pleased with the service we receive. If I had one negative side it would be to have the same carers on a regular basis, but would recommend My Homecare Assistance to others.

The service provided to my mother is always very good and there are some carers who go above and beyond. My mam has Alzheimer's and the care shown to her is extremely considerate of her needs. The carers include my dad on their visits, making him feel reassured. Friendly and professional.

My husband is my sole carer so when he suddenly had to go into hospital care had to be arranged for me and I was lucky enough to get My Homecare. I was very apprehensive as my care does involve very personal care... I need not have worried at all, as all the carers that came treated me with the greatest care, respect and humanity, and never once did I feel embarrassed... Thank you My Homecare, I cannot sing your praises enough, you're brilliant. Thank you for all your kindness and care.

My mum started having carers a few weeks ago when she was struggling with her mobility. My sisters live locally, whereas I live in Lancashire and so I came to stay for a few days. The carers who I saw during this period were amazing! They were so friendly, hard-working and caring and really made a huge difference to my mum’s day. They showed a real interest in my mum as a person and her family, and their positivity made a real impact. They spoke highly of the company they work for and the management team, which was also very reassuring. My sisters helped my mum arrange the care package and are also extremely pleased with the excellent service our mum is receiving. Although both my sisters visit regularly to help out, it’s reassuring for them to know that in between visits my mum is being so well cared for. The service also enables my mum to keep her independence, which is so important to her. Many thanks to the whole team at My Homecare Assistance.

I’m delighted with the person-centred approach to my sister’s care. From the initial contact with the care co-ordinator, to the day-to-day support, I’m so happy that my sister has been at the heart of everything. She’s managing things better in the home and accessing the community, even going swimming with carers. When my sister is happy, we’re happy as a family. Well done to all the staff and carers supporting my sister.

My Homecare Assistance team provided top-quality palliative care for my mother-in-law. Every member of their team were highly skilled in bed rest care, promoted comfort and carried out personal care as well as pressure area care and care of her catheter. All staff were sensitive to the needs of my mother-in-law and offered great support to the family when needed. This care was also arranged at very short notice as she wanted to be at home instead of in hospital. My Homecare Assistance made this happen.
