In February 2023, my wife who had had Parkinson's Disease for 30 years had to go to hospital for 6 weeks after which she required care three times a day (2 carers). A friend recommended Belmont and we have been with them for over 2 1/2 years. During that time, we have had excellent service. The carers have been punctual and very friendly and helpful and have often gone the extra mile to make sure that everything went according to plan. The office back up has also been excellent and I strongly recommend Belmont ot anyone requiring care in the home.

I wanted to put in writing how exceptional the care and support has been for my father. All the carers who regularly visit my father each day are absolutely delightful. Belmont Home Care manager has carefully matched my father's personality with the carers. He loves to have banter and the carers definitely brighten his day with their lively personalities, whilst at the same time, attending meticulously to his daily needs and encouraging him to do his physiotherapy exercises. Most recently, one of the carers found him after a fall and she rapidly, and professionally, set the wheels in motion to ensure he was properly assessed, and ultimately admitted to hospital for a fortnight. On his discharge, the agency's wonderful manager, pulled out all the stops to meet my father's increased needs, including overnight care. My father is happy and content; my 90 year old mother is able to be a wife first; and my sister and I can relax knowing our father is in excellent hands. Highly recommend!

Belmont have been helping our Mum since October of 2024.
Our mother had a very severe life changing stroke in May of 2024. She was left severely disabled unable to talk, walk, eat and now has a peg in situe to aid nutritional need.
After a 6 week stay in an assessment bed, Mum was finally deemed ready for discharge. We were always adamant we wanted her home with whatever care was needed in place. My sister and I are ex carers and so therefore we understood what to look for in a care agency and after doing our research and viewing CQC reports we contacted the manager who straight away arranged an assessment, came to see us and agreed that Mum's needs could be met and put together a plan of care for her. It was the best decision we ever made.
The team are simply amazing. They are an absolute lifeline to us and nothing is ever too much trouble. They are incredibly reliable and arrive on time.

If you are looking for care for a loved one we would never hesitate to recommend Belmont!

Overall Experience

My mother has, so far, received excellent care from the Belmont Home Care team and the experience from setting up the care plan to the carers coming in and listening to our needs and taking them on has also been excellent. It's been nothing short of life-changing for me being able to step aside from getting Mum up and to bed knowing that she is in competent and caring hands.

I would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the Belmont Homecare Services team for their care, compassion and reliability at a time of great stress and anxiety. The manager, came to our aid at very short notice after my husband was discharged from the hospital and after that, we received wonderful reassuring support from the rest of the team, especially his carer. The flexible package put in place was adapted to our needs as I gained more confidence in taking over some of the care involved. It’s great to know that we know exactly where to go for our future needs as we age!

Belmont Homecare has been an absolute gem in regard to my daughter's care. Every single one of their carers are amazing, they're patient and caring towards my daughter. I'm fortunate to have found them when I did as there were issues with our previous care company, they stepped in and fulfilled all my daughter's care needs flawlessly. The care my father received from Belmont has been of a very high standard. It was even possible for a carer to accompany Dad to our son’s wedding which was very much appreciated. All of the carers are very friendly and helpful.

My mother has been a client of Belmont Healthcare for nearly 5 months and we are delighted with the daily care and support she receives to enable her to stay safely at home. I have met many of the carers and they are so kind and thoughtful, they take time to chat with her, and make friends with the dog, while also ensuring that the tasks agreed upon as part of her care plan are completed. The manager and care coordinator are also very experienced and extremely helpful and I would not hesitate to recommend Belmont to anyone looking for excellent care at home.

Excellent first-class home care service for my auntie, they went above and beyond with their high level of care. Would highly recommend it, the only reason why we don't use Belmont anymore is that my auntie has had to go into a nursing home for 24-hour care but Belmont tried their very best with 2 carers coming in 4 times a day to assist her. They couldn't have done any more. Thank you all for everything and wish the company well.

Overall Experience

The companionship care my brother has received from Belmont at home has been excellent. He has a small core group of regular carers who he knows and more importantly know him and his needs well. A new carer has recently been introduced to my brother but she was introduced to him whilst shadowing a regular carer so he got to know her before she took on caring responsibilities showing the thought and planning that goes into arranging care packages. I am able to focus at work knowing my brother is being well cared for and just as importantly is happy to be left in the care of Belmont at Home Care carers.

My Dad, who is in his 90s, moved to live near me in the West Midlands, and I sought advice from a care consultant before selecting Belmont Healthcare. I met the local manager on my Dad's arrival and getting started with a couple of visits each weekday could not have been easier. I have found the team responsive and the caregivers competent, flexible and professional. After six months, I have no regrets about our decision to go with Belmont. I hope to be working with them for many years.

Having looked for carers for my husband for a long time without success, I found Belmont home care. Their efficiency right from the first contact was very professional. A visit to see what we were looking for was quickly organised and everything was explained. From how the care would work, the paperwork, cost and how payment would be made. They took a profile of my husband so that they had background knowledge of who this person was. Not just a name on paper. We are now receiving care on the days arranged, at the time arranged and by the person we have been informed was coming. I only wish I had found them sooner.

Samantha Anderson

There isn’t anything about home care Sam doesn’t know, and with her 20 years of experience working for the NHS and Social Care sector, she is well placed to develop a hands-on approach to home care.

Sam says: “I’ve been in the care industry for nearly 20 years, the role has adapted with me and my family, I’ve been branch manager of a large company managing the operations of thousands of hours of care and the 50 carers to provide it, but my real passion is as a carer providing personal care that provides a positive impact on an individual’s life.”

Sam’s wish is to leave the corporate world behind and go back to basics with hands-on care as she develops a boutique team of dedicated Belmont at Home carers.

Sam continues to say: “I’m looking forward to building something and being relatable to my team. I’m already hiring additions to the team and with new customers, it looks like we’re off to a good start for the future.”

We’ve always had a very close family. After losing my grandad unexpectedly in 2012, my nan became very dependent on my mum. In 2017, she was diagnosed with Dementia; her behaviour became very unstable, and we all worked together to look after her. Soon after, she was diagnosed with bowel cancer. She became extremely poorly, with my and I caring for her with the help of some carers. The carers were wonderful and always very helpful. My nan deteriorated massively over the last 2 years of her life; the carers made it possible for us to keep nan at home with us. We couldn’t have done it without them. Sadly, in 2023, we lost my nan.

After years of caring for her, I had a void I felt needed filling, so I decided to change jobs and go from doing security at the airport to joining an amazing team at Belmont. As soon as I started, I loved my new job, and making friends with the older generation is always a developing experience. They’re full of wisdom and guidance, with so many stories to share. It almost felt rude that I was being paid to meet some of the most wonderful characters alive. After a short period working in this role, I was presented with an opportunity to become a care coordinator, which allows me to help provide enhanced support, streamline communication, personalise care planning, become an advocate for them, and ensure continuity of care for everyone we care for.

I feel very honoured to be part of a prospering company that puts the care and needs of its clients at the forefront of every decision and is always looking for ways to do more and help more people. I hope to grow and learn as much as I possibly can with Belmont whilst making sure all of the people we care for are happy and know they’ve got a friend as well as a carer when our team attends each call.
