Minster Home Care have gone beyond great lengths to meet the needs of my parents whilst working closely with my sister and me. Minster Home Care provide well presented and kind staff who arrive on time and remain busy throughout his/her visits. Minster Home Care provide a mobile app which gives live
information about home visits. Minster Home Care remain aware, active and flexible to maintain independence whilst providing all support needed. My family are very pleased with Minster Home Care provision. I highly recommend Minster Home Care to others.

We are very pleased with my mother-in-law's care, they treat her very kindly, they are also happy to see to the dog too which is very helpful. Most of the carers leave the front room neat and tidy. Occasionally, we have had issues like leaving the door unlocked or not locking the dog away on an evening
but I think everyone has got the hang of it now.
They are all lovely, pleasant people and they do a marvellous job.

We think all your carers are kind and appreciate everything they do, some go above and beyond. My husband now calls one of them 'family', well I don't think you can get a better result than that. Carry on with all your good work, cheers.

Minster Home Care took over the daily care visits for my mother a couple of months ago, and I've been very pleased with the service they've provided. I've met several of the carers while visiting my parents and they've all been very friendly, connected well with Mum, and provided excellent care for
her. They've also turned up reliably at the scheduled times which is important for my parents' routine. On a couple of occasions, I've called the office the managers have also been efficient and easy to deal with. Overall Minster seems to be a very well-run outfit, providing great care in a professional manner. Thank you so much for what you do for Mum.

I would just like to express my sincere thanks and admiration for one of your staff.
She has recently supported us to engage a service user, and with her support enabled us to complete a long and complex assessment. Her input to the sessions was invaluable, and you can clearly see she is really invested
in her work, going above and beyond to care for the people she supports.
Without her input, it is unlikely the service user would have felt comfortable enough to attend, never mind participating in the assessment. She was flexible, reliable, and accommodating. In addition, she offered valuable insight into her experiences of supporting the service user and provided clarification to support the service user to disagree/share different views.
She is a credit to your service, and I felt that her work should be acknowledged. Thank you.

I am really happy with the care my mother receives from Minster Home Care. I live a long way away but have met some of the carers when staying with my parents. All of them have been lovely with Mum, and very nice with my Dad too, although he doesn't receive care at the moment. I think we have been fortunate
to find Minster. The service has been reliable and the carers are kind, friendly and professional. They do a great job. Thank you.

My mother-in-law is very happy with the care she receives and that makes us happy. We go round often to see her but it’s also nice to see a different face and have a chat about something different and that’s what they do. Carry on with the good work Minster Home Care. We have had an association with Minster Home Care for just over a year now. During this time they have cared for my mum.
My mum is comfortable with the caregivers and they brighten her day.
As I live a long way from Mum it is also important to me to be able to feel comfortable to contact Minster
Home Care at any time over anything. They have always been tolerant and patient with me and strived to accommodate my requests.
Thank you.

A staff member went above and beyond her role at Minster to help my great aunt after a fall. Excellent communication and reassurance.
Always available on the phone to chat about visits, there are definitely good carers out there.

  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.5 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for Minster Home Care is calculated as follows: ( (30 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 30 Ratings = 5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.5 Points for the second and third Positive Reviews, 0.25 Points for each of the next two Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Minster Home Care is based on 5 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 = 4.5
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
