I used Helping Hands for some respite care during the summer for my mother who has dementia. I was very impressed by the professionalism throughout and how they strive to tailor care needs to suit the individual needs of the client. A manager did a home visit. I had let her know my mother was a bit resistant to getting in help while I was away. She put both me and my mother at ease. In the end, my mother was very pleased with the carers who came and felt comfortable with the experience. I would recommend and will use in the future.
Best wishes
The girls are so helpful and kind to my mum and dad. My mum has accepted the carer as part of the family with no complaints which is very hard to achieve with my mum, and myself and my dad have been more relaxed and happy. They've been so wonderful.
Thank you so much for leaving such a heartfelt review! I'm delighted to hear how helpful and kind our girls have been towards your mum and dad and that they've been accepted as part of the family. Your kind words mean the world to us and we're ever so grateful!
Best wishes.

About me
I am the CQC Registered Branch Care Manager for Beeston. I started my journey at Helping Hands in June 2022, having previously been a Service manager for the Royal Mencap Society for 21 years. I have 38 years of experience in many areas of social care.
My role is to support customers to receive outstanding homecare services, with well-trained, committed care teams. Emphasis is on recruiting excellent carers and supporting them on their journey to a career in Health and social care, with great training, and paid-for NVQ training, to enhance customer experience.
Experience and expertise
I have an excellent proven track record of planning, implementing, and organising events and activities, which I found I really enjoy. I have built good professional relationships, both in the local community and with other stakeholders, local businesses, and charities. Supporting customers with positive outcomes is key to our homecare support teams.
Why I chose Helping Hands
I love working at Helping Hands, and I am so proud of our care teams. I am so excited about the plans we have for the future, and meeting future customers, carers, and working in our communities.
