ExemplaCare is a nurse-led, family-run home care provider supporting adults in Buckingham, Winslow and nearby villages, with a growing presence serving the Watlington area of Oxfordshire. The agency combines experienced registered nurses with carefully selected local carers to deliver person-centred support at home, from short visits upwards, seven days a week. Phone lines are open from early morning to late evening for advice and coordination.

Every new client receives a holistic assessment by a registered nurse, ensuring the right blend of practical help, personal care and clinical oversight. Ongoing packages can include personal care, help around the home, companionship and escorted outings, nutrition and hydration support, medication assistance and coordination with other health professionals. The team is skilled in dementia support, palliative and end-of-life care, and complex needs. An in-house nursing service provides continuity and rapid escalation when required.

Training and supervision are a priority: care staff are recruited for kindness and reliability and are trained to robust Skills for Care standards, with additional learning in areas such as dementia, diabetes, PEG feeding and long-term conditions. The agency uses secure electronic records so information is up-to-date across the team.

Quality is independently recognised: the Care Quality Commission rates ExemplaCare 'Good', reflecting safe, compassionate and well-led care (inspection published 4 March 2023).

ExemplaCare can also connect clients with allied services; a partnered physiotherapy clinic offers tailored rehabilitation and mobility support, complementing day-to-day care at home.

For the past 2.5 years Exemplacare has been providing 3 daily care visits for my Mum who is 98, living with dementia. The level of care has been exemplary with carers being always cheerful, caring and respectful and with nothing being too much trouble. This has included providing overnight care so that
family members could have a break away. Knowing that the team is led by qualified nurses who are always responsive to our requests provides extra reassurance and the office team members have always been very helpful. It has also been very reassuring to be able to see and act on the reports of each visit. Thank you to all the team. You are truly exceptional. We cannot recommend this company highly enough.

During the last few months my mother has experienced the highest standard of care from a number of quality professional attentive care workers. Aswell as carrying out tasks required they always make time to chat to my mother and listen to her many repetitive stories! which she thoroughly enjoys. She
feels safe and well cared for and is soon put at ease if there are anxious moments. Their professionalism is first rate, as is that of a very competent professional management team who are always happy to receive calls, answer queries, offer reassuring advice. Communication between management, carers and the responsible family member (me) is never delayed, it is clear informative and helpful. I am so impressed that carers communicate too and will leave memos for one another. This is so valuable and important when different carers visit.
I cannot fault the care this very contented client has had to date, whilst respecting her independence where possible. Thankyou!

My elderly parents both in their mid nineties were able to stay living in their own home . This would not have been possible if I had not found such a good care company as ExemplaCare . Ran by a very professional experienced nursing team. I can't recommend them highly enough. All the carers that visited

I found the staff working for Exemplacare to be professional, thoughtful and very personable in their approach for the care of my elderly Dad. They always arrived on time and took extra care when providing assistance for him. My Dad had to administer a lot of medication and the staff were very proficient
in assisting these at the correct times and doses.
My Dad even said his carer made a better cup of tea than me ;-) thank you Exemplacare for making my Dads final months comfortable and keeping my Dads dignity too. In dealings with the business owner & office staff, I found them all to be proficient and timely with my queries.

My father really looks forward to visits from his carers, as he enjoys chatting to them about all sorts. I am regularly updated about details they have shared with him which obviously brightens his day. My mother couldn't manage without their support, and she is also grateful for the flexibility and

ExemplaCare expertly and kindly supported my step-mother through the last few months of her life at home. Sadly she was suffering from bowel cancer and was then admitted to Hospital for some weeks. On her discharge she was told she could have a fast track discharge- but only with an unknown care company.
Such was the positive impact that ExemplaCare had made upon my step-mother she stated that she would rather stay in hospital than have to be treated by a care company that wasn't ExemplaCare. Ultimately, we were able to broker further care at home support from ExemplaCare for the last few weeks of her life. They were highly professional, compassionate, well trained and well informed and always prepared to go above and beyond to ensure her dignity and to minimise her suffering. The carers provided invaluable support to my step-mum and indeed to myself right up to her passing and beyond. I will never forget the kindness Angie and her team displayed at the worst of times.

My father in law has received superb care from Exempla care. Each carer has taken time to get to know him, listen to his stories and show interest in his life. He looks forward to their visits and enjoys their company. They support him to be independent at home and encourage him to be actively involved
in his care. The communication from the carers and the office has been excellent. They have all been professional and friendly and extremely reliable.

The vast majority were lovely, attentive carers but the whole experience was unfortunately ruined by a couple of instances of unnecessarily aggressive, insensitive behaviour from management which left us feeling badly let down.

Exemplacare is staffed not only by wonderfully sensitive and professional carers who have built a kind and trusting relationship with my parents, but it is run by a team of highly qualified nurses who ensure that all services are delivered to a very high standard. They always flag any medical concerns
with me and have escalated things to our local doctor on my behalf where they have had needed immediate attention. They have assisted in getting occupational health visits in place for my father and aids installed in the home to assist with everyday living, all outside of their daily commitments and at no extra charge. They are always flexible and do everything they can to provide additional support where needed. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They are a fantastic company who genuinely cares about their clients.

The care that my dad receives from all the staff at Exemplacare is outstanding. He really looks forward to his visits three days a week to help prepare his lunch. As well as meal prep the staff will play cards with my dad, tidy up his kitchen and make his bed. Whenever I have had to ask for additional
support/visits my requests have always been met without an issues. I would thoroughly recommend Exemplacare to anyone who is looking for additional help and support for their loved ones.

We have been delighted with the way Exemplacare have looked after my elderly mother over the last 8 months. Visiting twice a day, providing excellent support which has enabled her to remain in her own home, rather than needing residential care. Following a fall, and a stay in hospital, she needed assistance
in a whole range of areas, which the nursing manager who visited immediately understood, and put together an effective care plan. The carers are all friendly, efficient and reliable, and my mother enjoys and relies on their visits. It also gives me peace of mind, of course, especially as I can access a report online immediately after every visit. The team are also happy to put in place any changes that may be needed to the timings or the care plan. We are very pleased to have found them.

As always, the service provided was excellent. The carers are kind, dedicated and helpful. My mother enjoys talking to them and has never had anything but positive comments to make about any of them. The attention to my care has been faultless. The daily visits are very much looked forward to. The carers are cheerful and positive and I could not wish to be cared for better.

Since my husband was discharged from hospital following a stroke in 2022. Exemplacare have provided us with an amazing service. The carers we have had, have all been very professional and have taken time to get to know my husband and I. They work hard to give him as much independence and dignity in
his care.
Timekeeping and continuity of care have been outstanding.
Having worked for many years in the social care system, I have had a lot of experience with different care agencies and I believe Exemplacare to be one of the best.

The service my grandma has received from Exemplacare since they started visiting her earlier this year has been amazing. All the carers seem to be lovely, the communication from them and the management has been top-notch notch and whenever we've needed to get extra care at short(ish) notice it's never
