From the start, Kind Hearts Care Company have shown that they are really committed to helping my 96 year-old mother remain in her home, as she wishes. This gives me peace of mind, as I am far away abroad. They not only help her with practical things, but keep her company and even take her out on short trips. She has told me that she has been very happy with every person who has visited her, and really looks forward to their visits - this was not the case with a previous care company, the contrast is marked! My mother's independence and my peace of mind have been gained with their intervention.

When originally approaching Kind Hearts Care Company to request home care for my 94 year old father, I was able to talk through every requirement and they listened, and suggested all the various ways they could help my father stay at home (his sincere wish). Listening and understanding our requirements was very important to us.
All the staff have been amazing with my father. They are cheerful, kind and thorough. They ensure his complex medication requirements are given to him, safely and accurately. They work with him to do his simple exercises every morning, which is so important for him to maintain what little mobility he has left. His personal hygiene care is carried out with both thoroughness and gentleness. My father originally had concerns about being washed, but all the care staff have been so good regarding maintaining his dignity.

Kind Hearts Care have given us all the support we need to keep my father in his home, well looked after.

I have now been using the Agency for around 12 months And I just wanted to say thank you As they are always on time nothing is ever a problem And the cost was a lot cheaper than others I had been looking at

Overall Experience

The team of carers at Kind Hearts are all very kind, and caring and work extremely hard. If I have any care needs such as my recent discharge from the hospital (when I needed additional care in the evenings) to enable me to climb the stairs to get to bed, this was arranged for the night I came home. They also provided my transport home and a meal for me and increased my scheduled hours (temporarily).

Overall Experience

Kind Hearts Care Company have been outstanding throughout the care they gave my mother. We have used another care company previous to Kind Hearts, and the care given was not at all near the quality of Kind Hearts. Each staff member shows and also gives 100% care and support not only to my mother, but also to myself if there were any concerns they had. I can highly recommend Kind Hearts Care Company, they are the outstanding.

I’m a service user of Kind Hearts and have been with them for almost three years. They’re a wonderful care company. The management team are very approachable and well-organised. I've used Kind Hearts Care Company over the last twelve months to visit my mother-in-law to carry out her shopping once a week. She is 92 years old and cognitively impaired. Kind Hearts Care Company were chosen because I knew the Principal when she cared for my late wife, and also for a friend, both of whom suffered from MS.

Her care was exemplary and so knowing she was now the head of Kind Hearts Care Company I was confident the firm would offer the same care for my mother-in-law under their influence. I visit her once a week and have met her carer but more to the point my mother-in-law always mentions how kind and pleasant her carers are. She also tells me that they always stop for a chat and a cup of tea, which is wonderful. What more could we ask?

I am a full-time carer for my wife, she has no mobility and can’t do anything for herself a friend suggested I contact the Kind Hearts agency for help with my wife's care I am extremely happy with all the carers that come in my house too help with my wife care they are all kind caring professional thoughtful people over the last 3 years. I have made a bond with the carers not only do they look after my wife but they take time to spend with me over breakfast and teas and coffees and chats I couldn’t cope without them.

From the moment Kind Hearts Care Company became at-home carers for my 89-year-old dad earlier this year, I knew I'd made the right choice.
The team, including the hard-working owner of the company, have been so reliable. They attend for the full stated time slot paid for and are very punctual - both of these are very important requirements. They get on with the job with humour - in return, my dad shares his own sense of humour with the carers; which is lovely and something I haven't seen for some time, and they also have appropriate compassion and empathy.
It means to me that I can get on with my busy life safe in the knowledge that my dad is in very good hands - I only wish I'd discovered Kind Hearts 4 years ago when care at home was first required.

I would not hesitate in recommending Kind Hearts Care Company and having just done so we are very grateful for the quick response and package that was set up for supporting another close relative.

Very grateful to have found Kind Hearts, we switched companies and from the moment they stepped through the door we felt relief. The level of care delivered is outstanding, and the compassion is very visible. There is great communication between staff which I find reassuring as nothing is missed. We have to mention one of the managers because she has altered her own personal commitments in her life to meet our needs at the moment, for which we will be forever grateful. They are the ladies with a smile and they bring happiness and genuine care. Thank you.

The manager and her team have provided an excellent level of care and support for my mum over the last year. The staff have been warm and obliging on every visit. Whenever we have needed to contact the office, the telephone has been answered and our enquiry dealt with. I would not hesitate in recommending Kind Hearts Care to anyone.

Overall Experience

We changed agencies a month ago now and the difference in care, has been outstanding. My husband's needs are complex and this agency has established a good and safe routine with him and this has taken a great weight from us both. My husband is much more relaxed and at ease and we both enjoy a laugh and chat with the carers. They arrive on time, stay for the allotted time and leave the house very tidy. I highly recommend Kind Hearts Care Company.

I wish I had found Kind Hearts Care Company 54 months ago. They arrive on time and stay for the allocated time. They treat my mum like their own. Mum looks forward to seeing them every day and sharing a joke or two. I no longer have anything to worry about and the house is clean too.

We have had several care agencies over the past couple of years. Kind Hearts Care Company was by far the best.

My husband is very pleased with the kindness and consideration he has received from his carer who is always cheerful and happy to take him out to interesting places. He says it is like having one of his grandsons looking after him. The staff in this company live up to the company name as they have also been very caring towards me.

I first started my homecare journey at the age of 21. Originally planning to be a hairdresser, I found, while studying at Guildford College, I very much enjoyed the older ladies who came to have their hair done. After completing my hairdressing NVQ, I decided to try care work and I absolutely loved it. I worked for a fantastic company that set a great example of how care should be delivered; completely personalised with compassion, care and respect. I worked at this company for 7 years until it was unfortunately bought out.

Over the years I have built my business knowledge in many different ways from running a breakfast and after-school club with children to founding, growing and solely running a netball club for 15 years consisting of 250 members at its peak.

Covid was and continues to be an extremely hard time for a lot of people. For me, it meant I was not able to continue with netball due to the lockdowns. After a break, this is what led me back into the care sector, I remembered exactly why I loved it so much. I have a strong belief that if you are not doing something that makes a difference in people’s lives, there is no point in doing it. I thrive from making a difference, making people happy and enabling them to live the best life possible and continuing to work to maintain it for as long as possible. I have a real sense that this is what I was put on the planet to do.

Working for many different care companies over the years, I wanted to take all of the good points I have seen and put them all together in one place. Ensuring that care is delivered completely personalised to the service user, that healthcare assistants are well looked after and that everyone involved in the company feels a sense of belonging and is part of something special, whilst developing the company to have a strong reputation for being of the highest quality and standard.

I still go out and deliver care when required, all my service users know me well, both for fun and laughter but also for acting on anything that may need changing or addressing in their care package. They understand completely that I am a perfectionist and will be proactive in ensuring that their care package is perfect for them.

I’ve always enjoyed wrapping my head around maths, starting back in primary school and carrying on up until university but I left to pursue my interest in accounting. As I was growing up, my mother was a carer for many years so I’ve seen how much domiciliary care contributes to supporting an independent and fulfilling life at home. This experience drew me to work for Kind Hearts Care.

I absolutely love my job, ensuring everything is accurate and easy to understand. I also have the added bonus of being able to get out and meet our service users both for a chat and when assisting with care calls. I am always on hand to help and have built a great relationship with them.

I am learning a lot about business and the care sector. It's a great industry to be in, ensuring people are happy and fulfilled in their later stages of life.

Dexter - Companionship

I am the quiet, calm and relaxed of the three. I sometimes stay for a few hours with a service user to keep them company and get paid in belly rubs, head scratches and the occasional treat. I enjoy seeing people who come to the office but enjoy it more when I am the centre of attention. I also ensure my cat and neighbours' cats are not eating our food as they are sneaky and often try.


Roxy - Head of Welfare

I am always super excited to see anyone who comes to visit the office and will show this by turning into a snorting pogo stick and will usually not stop until I get a cuddle. I give the best cuddles and kisses which often help the healthcare assistants and office staff if they are having a stressful day. I am a chatterbox so you will often hear me chatting at the end of the phone with my daughter Flossy.

Flossy - in training

I am the puppy of Dexter and Roxy and I can be very naughty. Be careful what you leave around as I may accidentally mistake it for one of my toys. I like to tell everyone what I think but also love cuddles and attention so don’t be put off by my bark.
