Since my Mother and I made the difficult, but preferred decision for her to go to her own home rather than a care home, this left the responsibility to the care provider.
I must say that all the carers that visit her have made her living at home possible, enjoyable and above all puts both minds at
ease.

The Carers have been coming now for about three weeks and i am more than surprised at the service given, never having had any reason to use a similar service previously. The Carers, without exception, are very pleasant, prompt, kind and seem very efficient and understanding, but perhaps more importantly
they are already begining to seem like friends to my wife and I (and the dog, who always rushes to the door to greet them for some extra attention). We only use the service to assist with getting up, washing/showering and dressing at the moment, which gives me a little time to sort out breakfast, feed the dog and generally prepare for the day.
I would recommend Homelium to anyone who needs some extra help.

First week with Homelium has been excellent.
The only thing I would change are the early visits. 8.30am and 5.45pm would be ideal for me. I like the fact that a little light cooking is available with the staff and help with personal care is offered. Being a former Care Assistant myself for 25
years is important.

Very pleased overall with the quality of care my husband receives. Carers are kind and compassionate and generally knowledgeable especially as my husbands needs are very complex. They are punctual, in uniform with identity badges. He enjoys their company and is happy.

My brother has been a client for nearly 4 years and we are very happy with the excellent care they provide. He enjoys the company of the carers and I have peace of mind knowing he is being well cared for. Problems pop up with my brother from time to time and I feel safe in the knowledge that one phone
call to the carer and it's sorted. Nothing is too much trouble, they truly are a godsend.

My brother is on end-of-life heart failure and they came to the hospital to arrange when they're coming out. The communication is great and the cares are so lovely. I'd highly recommend this company. They care not just about my brother, they care about me and even if I don't need help sometimes just
having a chat helps.

I have been with this care company since January and this is my first experience of care in the home and the care has been consistently of a very high standard, adapting to my changing needs over this period of time. All carers have taken responsibility for the various required health related equipment
that is used on a daily basis. In the last few weeks I have been suffering from a cold which has required extensive full use of the cough assist which most carers have happily adapted to. All carers are friendly and accommodating and have fitted into our daily family routines with the minimum amount of intrusion.

I do not have many dealings with the provider's office so generally speak to senior carers of needs. Most concerns are the availability of carers at times, of which I believe can affect care providers in general these days. Unfortunately, under today's climate, not all carers are suitable to caring
and do not last long.

Job Title: Operations Director

My journey into the world of care started with late-night shifts for my mother-in-law’s care home, all while my husband was on duty in Bosnia. It was a unique introduction that sparked my passion for personalised care!


What I love most about my role is the opportunity to tailor care for each client and connect them with the perfect team of carers. One memorable accomplishment that stands out is making sure a desperate family could reunite with their dad for Christmas. On Christmas Eve, I went above and beyond, conducting a care assessment in the hospital and checking out the home environment, ensuring a heartwarming Christmas Eve reunion. The smiles on their faces made it all worthwhile.


A little bit about me: I may not have a quirky skill, but I sure can sing! I was an alto in the Military Wives Choir. Singing is my stress-buster and my way of bringing joy to others! My go-to karaoke song would be “Fairytale of New York”- my husband popped the question on a horse-drawn carriage in Central Park- a real-life fairytale in the city that never sleeps!
