Homelium Dorset

Compared to the previous carer's that my brother had Homelium are by far more professional, courteous, dedicated in many ways to my brothers needs, and in many ways have gone above and beyond their normal duties.

From the first time meeting Sophie, we knew we were in good hands. She was wonderful and kind and respectful. The team were flexible and kind to mumma and ended up being part of the family, thank you so very much team x

My husband who is the client of Homelium in Sherborne, likes his carers so much, his is actually waiting for their visits, which was not always the case with different providers. They are professional but kind and smiley despite the fact that they are dealing with some difficult life situations. So we salute them. Thank you.

As the daughter of someone having care, its amazing to see how well my father gets along with those caring for him. They treat him professionally when needed but also treat him like a friend the rest of the time. I love chatting to them and getting to know them, ss they care for my father. Its enjoyable to see.

The Homelium Sherborne team have been wonderful. They arrive on time, are cheerful and personable, and are respectful towards my mother. She enjoys their visits very much, saying how kind they all are. The carers leave the house clean and tidy. Communication is good. Would recommend.

It has been a great service through out. All the carers are really friendly. They have been amazing with my father and always been very professional with his needs as well as keeping him good company. This was our first experience having carers come into our family home and they couldn't have made it any easier.

I would recommend Homelium to anyone who needs some extra help.

The only thing I would change are the early visits. 8.30am and 5.45pm would be ideal for me. I like the fact that a little light cooking is available with the staff and help with personal care is offered. Being a former Care Assistant myself for 25 years is important.

Very pleased overall with the quality of care my husband receives. Carers are kind and compassionate and generally knowledgeable especially as my husbands needs are very complex. They are punctual, in uniform with identity badges. He enjoys their company and is happy.

My brother has been a client for nearly 4 years and we are very happy with the excellent care they provide. He enjoys the company of the carers and I have peace of mind knowing he is being well cared for. Problems pop up with my brother from time to time and I feel safe in the knowledge that one phone call to the carer and it's sorted. Nothing is too much trouble, they truly are a godsend.

Very caring, considerate and professional and aware of client's needs. They keep in touch with the client's family and they make sure the client has all the necessary items that they need. Makes sure the client is comfortable. The client really enjoys seeing members of the care team. They are so kind and helpful. Would highly and thoroughly recommend it.

My brother is on end-of-life heart failure and they came to the hospital to arrange when they're coming out. The communication is great and the cares are so lovely. I'd highly recommend this company. They care not just about my brother, they care about me and even if I don't need help sometimes just having a chat helps.

I have been with this care company since January and this is my first experience of care in the home and the care has been consistently of a very high standard, adapting to my changing needs over this period of time. All carers have taken responsibility for the various required health related equipment that is used on a daily basis. In the last few weeks I have been suffering from a cold which has required extensive full use of the cough assist which most carers have happily adapted to. All carers are friendly and accommodating and have fitted into our daily family routines with the minimum amount of intrusion.

I do not have many dealings with the provider's office so generally speak to senior carers of needs. Most concerns are the availability of carers at times, of which I believe can affect care providers in general these days. Unfortunately, under today's climate, not all carers are suitable to caring and do not last long.
