Since my Mother and I made the difficult, but preferred decision for her to go to her own home rather than a care home, this left the responsibility to the care provider.
I must say that all the carers that visit her have made her living at home possible, enjoyable and above all puts both minds at
ease.

Staff were professional & friendly. They were punctual and clean. I stopped the service once my catheter was removed, and I only needed to wash and dress myself.

My wife and myself have a carer for 3 hours per week on the "Take a Break" service to allow me to have some free time from caring duties. The carer provided by Homelium has been excellent, and interacts well with my wife and whilst the service is a sitting service , has done some housekeeping as
well and we have been well pleased with the service, which has been excellent to date. The Take A Break service is funded by the local authority.

The initial interview was very relaxed and informative.
My first visit for help was prompt on time. The person was very personable and we all got to know one another quickly.
It allowed me to visit my GP and a friend for their Anniversary that day without the pressure of having to take and look
after my wife.
The visits will enable me to shop and do various jobs about the house and to go for walks etc. I understand we can ask for day and time alterations with notice which will help with social invites or specific circumstances.

Found that the carer was friendly and caring, first meeting was a little nervous but that has got better and no doubt that increase as we get to know each other . carer is increasing having client trust .

My use of the caring service has been excellent. My carer is very efficient and most willing to support me with a number of tasks, which are most useful considering I am partially sighted.
We have a lot in common, which makes working together easy.

It is a great relief to be able to rely on the support of Homelium carers in looking after my husband. I understand that it is probably inevitable that last-minute changes have to be made to the timetable, but we would appreciate notification of them if possible.

I have been extremely happy with care that I have received from Homelium. The carers are very supportive and friendly to me. The office are contactable and also professional and helpful when I need to call. I would not hesitate to recommend to others.
I was going to rate as good, but in hindsight.
I cannot fault the company, after chatting with my daughter, I realise I would be lost without them and their attention to detail, going above and beyond to help me.

The Carers have been coming now for about three weeks and i am more than surprised at the service given, never having had any reason to use a similar service previously. The Carers, without exception, are very pleasant, prompt, kind and seem very efficient and understanding, but perhaps more importantly
they are already begining to seem like friends to my wife and I (and the dog, who always rushes to the door to greet them for some extra attention). We only use the service to assist with getting up, washing/showering and dressing at the moment, which gives me a little time to sort out breakfast, feed the dog and generally prepare for the day.
I would recommend Homelium to anyone who needs some extra help.

This is a life saver ensures my husband is comfortable and safe allowing me visit my daughter and to be out and about a little more
My husband was not keen on having carers come in when I mentioned it but during the home visit the staff member was excellent and handle his somewhat odd sense of humour
and dislike of being a patient beautifully

Homelium took over my Father's care after the re-enablement package, which had followed his long hospital stay, came to an end. They have proved reliable, professional and kind. They are very communicative and it is a great comfort to me to know that he is in safe hands and they will let me know of

First week with Homelium has been excellent.
The only thing I would change are the early visits. 8.30am and 5.45pm would be ideal for me. I like the fact that a little light cooking is available with the staff and help with personal care is offered. Being a former Care Assistant myself for 25
years is important.
