My wife and myself have a carer for 3 hours per week on the "Take a Break" service to allow me to have some free time from caring duties. The carer provided by Homelium has been excellent, and interacts well with my wife and whilst the service is a sitting service , has done some housekeeping as
well and we have been well pleased with the service, which has been excellent to date. The Take A Break service is funded by the local authority.

The initial interview was very relaxed and informative.
My first visit for help was prompt on time. The person was very personable and we all got to know one another quickly.
It allowed me to visit my GP and a friend for their Anniversary that day without the pressure of having to take and look
after my wife.
The visits will enable me to shop and do various jobs about the house and to go for walks etc. I understand we can ask for day and time alterations with notice which will help with social invites or specific circumstances.

Found that the carer was friendly and caring, first meeting was a little nervous but that has got better and no doubt that increase as we get to know each other . carer is increasing having client trust .

I am very happy with the care I receive from Homelium. I have regular carers coming in every day and have such a good relationship with them all. They accommodate my call times due to my needs and always have. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for home care.

Thanks to the team and especially to my Mum's regular carer for their kindness and support. Everyone we have had contact with has been friendly, caring and considerate. I always know when to expect a visit and my mum has been looking forward to seeing her carer.

We have been using this company for over a year and we can not express how lovely the people are. They come in and do what's needed and always ask if anything else we would like to do. The staff who come here are so polite and friendly and nothing is too much for them. The best care team we have had
in a long time and so glad we have them because we know them and they know us well now, and again nothing is too much for them to help out with anything.

I find the service very good. One member of staff in particular is very attentive and had a nice friendly personality. However, they are all very pleasant and I would recommend this company to family and friends.

I find the service in general very good, particular those individuals who have a lot of experience dealing with with dementia. They are all crating and some go beyond the personal care too in making sure we are both ok as possible.

I am very pleased with the service Coastal Care provide. I find them very efficient and diligent. I would highly recommend them. The carers are very helpful, punctual and polite at all times. Management try very hard to sort any problems if any problems accure.

I would highly recommend Coastal Care South. I have total peace of mind that the carers treat my mum as if she were their own family. It is good that it is a small team so Mum always knows the carer. Communication is great, and the manager and team are very accommodating to Mum's needs.

I am really over the moon with the care I've received. The manager and her colleagues are absolutely brilliant. I couldn't fault them. They know I have difficulties so they are very understanding of that. All the carers are lovely polite friendly and most of all, very helpful. I found things hard until
the manager and everyone stepped in to help me. I would highly recommend this care company for the help you need. They have become part of my life and I adore every single one of them. I definitely wouldn't be where I am without them. If you or a family member needs care. Please go to Coastal Care and all the carers. You won't be disappointed.
I am so happy with all the help I have received.

Job Title: Director

Growing up, I found inspiration in my mum; a nurse who’s saved lives- including one right in front of me! Her passion for making a difference fueled my desire to follow in her footsteps. My journey in care started at age 17, and 15 years later I’m more in love with my role than ever. Now, a proud Director of Homelium.


My favourite thing about what I do is the people! I love to meet new people and engage with them. I take pride in the happiness we bring to our clients, knowing I am making a positive impact in their lives. I hold my level 5 in leadership and management which is also one of my biggest achievements. This gave me the confidence to lead a fantastic team and build our happy clientele.


Outside of work, I’m an avid traveller who cherishes moments near water and in nature. I love holidays, seeing new places and trying new foods! If you catch me at karaoke, beware of my rendition of “Dancing Queen”- it’s all in good fun until the morning after!
