The team are absolutely amazing, caring, respectful , friendly and with large amount love and care to the patient. My Mum Ann loved them all, they always took time to talk and joke with her just made her feel comfortable and cared for . The strength they gave me the morning of her stroke was kind and caring. Mum had to go back into hospital after the stroke and they called everyday to see how she was doing. On her discharge they came out immediately to see and care for her. Sadly I lost my Mum on 17 May the carers called offer their condolences and came to visit me with gifts and support . Fanta, Mike, Jimmy and I'm sorry my mind is blocked on the lovely lady that came with the gifts, you know who you are, and the rest of team were part of our family and I can't thank you enough for the care and love you provided our Mum and family . You all went above and beyond and that is not a common thing with carers but you were all amazing and went above and beyond. Thank you all.

Although my Mum is amazing, she needed help caring for my Dad for the last few months of his life. We as a family could not of wished for better people to be visiting my Dad and helping him. Each carer really took the time to get to know him and many special bonds were formed over a relatively short period of time. Important to us all, was until his final day they helped my Dad keep his dignity and humour.

My Dad who had moved in with me and my husband to support him during the final months of his life required more support than I was able to give him. We were introduced to Sylvian who provided care four times a day. With this support to both Dad and I, we managed to keep Dad at home until the end. They were compassionate, kind, and very flexible in their approach. They showed Dad dignity and listened to the way he wanted support. They were helpful and willing to learn about Dad's lifestyle and also to help me to continue working and caring for my Dad.
A really big thank you to the team, both those who attended our home and those on the other end of the phone.

Most carers, when they begin, are not as good as they are when they've been 3 or 4 times. Then we have routines and everything goes perfectly and smoothly. The carers are dependable and easy-going and they have the carer's heart.

After deciding to change from the care company that was arranged for our mum after leaving the hospital, we, as a family, decided on Sylvian Care Cherwell and West Oxfordshire. We have found them excellent from their initial assessment (which is very thorough) to initiating her care. They have gone out of their way to accommodate Mum’s needs from day one and contact us with any queries they have about her care. All staff are very professional and caring, which makes us confident that Mum is in safe hands. We would not hesitate to recommend Sylvian Care to anyone looking for care for their loved ones.

My brother suffers from dementia, and I help with his medication and paying bills. The care team are doing fantastic work looking after my brother. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough. They help with showering, meals, laundry, and everything that my brother can’t do.
