I had the misfortune to have contracted DermaMyositis in January this year and when I was first discharged from the hospital I was given carers, the first company were atrocious and I managed to change my provider which is now Sylvian based in Swindon and I can not praise them highly enough, from the
very first meeting they put me at ease and listened to my needs and made me feel like a human being again, they treat me with nothing but respect never rush me and are my angels just at a time when I needed them most of all.There isn't anyone that I can highlight as they are all amazing but if I had to choose it would be a young lady called Mel she just oozes care and professionalism never in a rush and really goes the extra mile, I cannot praise the company highly enough and would recommend Sylvian to anyone else in my area.

This company is fairly new and is still being built up. They are working on this but at the moment it is rather lacking infrastructure. They do not have enough staff but they are working on this. The management have been very helpful and charming, my personal carers have been excellent. They appreciate
that continuity of care with the same carer is important. Was, however left once without care when a problem arose. I could cope but one would have had trouble. I need help no longer but I would return to them again.

Although my Mum is amazing, she needed help caring for my Dad for the last few months of his life.
We as a family could not of wished for better people to be visiting my Dad and helping him. Each carer really took the time to get to know him and many special bonds were formed over a relatively short
period of time.
Important to us all, was until his final day they helped my Dad keep his dignity and humour.

Sylvian Care have looked after my Mum for the last six months. I cannot recommend them highly enough! As one of your parents age and become frailer, it's a worrying and upsetting time as you struggle to do the right thing and make the right decisions. All staff we have encountered at Sylvian Care
have been so professional, caring and knowledgeable. As we navigated our way through some very difficult decisions, we have known that Sylvian Care always had Mum's best interests at heart and helped us to ensure she has been well looked after, always keeping her dignity and feeling respected. I really can not speak highly enough of Sylvian and the care they provide.
My Mum in law suddenly needed to increase her care and the care company she was using at the time were unable to meet her needs. We were given Sylvian's number and they quickly and caringly came to our rescue!
They are incredibly
professional but at the same time so lovely, friendly and caring.
Andrada is an angel! She is just so wonderful. I can not speak highly enough of her.
We absolutely know that Mum in law is in the best possible hands.
She has guided us through so many things, giving us help and advice.
Andra is so conscientious, noticing every little change, whether it is a missing drug from the pharmacist, a pressure sore just starting or a piece of equipment that could help in some way. She is an absolute wonderwoman! She gives us peace of mind and my Mum in law the best care ever.

Sylvian Care has been caring for my mother since December 2025 - they have been brilliant compared to previous care company who were looking after her. The staff are attentive, talkative and most importantly understanding of my mother's complex needs. The report each individual carer writes after their
visit provides an excellent overview of what has been done and my mother's physical and emotional wellbeing. We are extremely happy with the excellent service they continue to provide.

Your staff were wonderful looking after my 95 year old mother in her own home. We had 2 visits per day am AM and PM where she was treated with compassion, dealt with all my mums needs. Even just a "chat" gave mum and of comfort and company. Thank you so much. I would recommend Sylvian Care without hesitation.

My Dad needed 2 carers, 4 times per day when he was discharged from Hospital, he was bed bound.
I trawled through the internet and found Sylvian, and what a good choice I made when asking them to provide care for my Dad.
They would go in early morning, give him a thorough body wash, treating him with
dignity and respect at all times, at every visit they would make him a cup of tea, and give him something to eat. Always asking if there was anything else he needed before they left.
They always checked to ensure he was clean and comfortable,
All of the carer's were very kind and considerate to Dad, and any of the family who were present at the time of their visit.
The office staff were so pleasant, polite, caring and helpful. I just cannot thank Sylvian enough.
I am so impressed with the care, I have recommended them to another person, who has now booked Sylvian for their relative too. I will continue to recommend them to anyone who needs carers for their loved ones.

Sylvian provides twice daily carers for my elderly mother, who is living with a degenerative condition. The carers are reliable, kind and helpful. Jason manages it all incredibly efficiently and is extremely responsive, which I really appreciate. Highly recommend.
