Sylvian Care have been such an enormous help to my family, at a time when we felt my mum needed some ongoing support for a short amount of time. My mum had been in hospital for a few days, following a collapse, a bad chest and urine infection, and acute confusion. She was usually very independent and active, and although she lived on her own, she was a very able, fit lady. When she was discharged from hospital she stayed with me for a week, but wanted to return home after that. We decided that she needed some help to do this, and encouragement to eat etc, but it was practically, very difficult for us be with her all the time. I contacted Sylvian Care after reading that they were local to me and seemed to have a lovely philosophy of helping people to get back on their feet again.
Paul organized live in care for a week for us, with very short notice. Najati was a life saver! Very kind, patient and caring. She definitely helped my mum get back to normal again.

As one of your parents age and become frailer, it's a worrying and upsetting time as you struggle to do the right thing and make the right decisions. All staff we have encountered at Sylvian Care have been so professional, caring and knowledgeable. As we navigated our way through some very difficult decisions, we have known that Sylvian Care always had Mum's best interests at heart and helped us to ensure she has been well looked after, always keeping her dignity and feeling respected. It is such a relief to know that she is in great hands and has taken the stress away from our family knowing she is happy and safe. They are always on time and communication is great with any questions we have or updates. Me and my mum had a very pleasant experience from the beginning organising the care package and I cannot recommend them enough. It was a welcomed change from the previous care company we used.
