Very pleased with the service my parents received. Very professional and caring staff.
The App is excellent and gives details of each visit which I used every day.

Highly recommended and we will be using them again.

Very much impressed with the support carers that have attended to my mother over a 2 week period. We found them to be punctual, friendly, eager to please and courteous and the management supporting these carers were in touch with what was happening on the ground. We are very grateful for all the help that we have received.

Started with Helping at Home in January and having experienced 4-months of care for my mum we could not be happier. The visit timings are perfect, they vary no more than 15 minutes and the pool of carers who support mum is very consistent. Mum is very happy and speaks highly of all the carers with a couple of favourites. We get weekly rotas in advance and every time I have spoken to the office team they have been professional, supportive and very friendly. A recent highlight was a home visit to review the care and support mum is getting. Megan was friendly, professional and attentive with mum, taking care to allow time for mum to process what she was being asked and answer in her own time. We are totally happy with the team and the care provided, and I recommend anyone looking for care in the home speak to the Helping at Home team as part of their search, they're excellent.

I have only high praise for all the carers that look after my Mother in Law, she is confined to bed and not easy to manage but your girls all do a brilliant job, all so friendly and caring, we wouldn't be able to cope without home care. Thank you all for doing a great job !

All the staff are really nice people, kind and caring and respectful of both myself and my home. Needs are not only physical, but the friendliness and sympathetic attitude really help with mental health. Also, staff have been very willing to accommodate special needs, e.g. escorts to hospital or doctor appointments. I would have no hesitation in recommending Helping at Home.

We've been really pleased with the care that we have received for my mum. It was a big step for us as a family to have extra support in to help with her changing needs but the staff have been very understanding and always reply to any questions promptly, and are very flexible to mums needs.

My mum has also been positive about her visits which is really reassuring to us.

since we have been using Helping at Home, their service and staff have been exceptional. The ladies who visit my mum, for a cuppa and to supervise her exercises, have been amazing. Kind and friendly, and really caring. The Office staff are On the Case, and happy to oblige when I need days changing due to my work. We have been lucky to find you, thanks

Helping at Home were professional and responsive from the initial enquiry I made through to the end of providing care. The management team have been amazing, so quick to put in some urgent care and the carers visiting have all been very caring, thorough and professional. The timings were reliable and communication was quick and straight forward. They helped support to the end of life which is what we wanted, to keep the care at home in a comfortable, quiet setting and avoid a care home or hospital.

I would highly recommend them without a doubt.

Helping at home have been looking after our Mum for some time now.
We have no complaints, office staff & carers are all wonderful .
They work together with a "live in carer from another agency due to Mum's increasing needs.

All are very approachable and professional, they really "get it" regarding the stress of looking after someone

Courtney Pike
Courtney PikeJob Title:Registered Care ManagerJoined: 2024

Courtney joined in 2024 and is the heart and soul of the business, as well as our CQC Registered Manager. That role is a regulated one: the Care Quality Commission holds her personally accountable for the safety and quality of the care we provide, and it is part of why we are rated Good.

She holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, the qualification the regulator expects of a registered manager, and her formal training is matched by deep hands-on experience.

She is unflappable and calm under pressure, and she weighs the voices of our clients and their families in every decision she makes. Courtney oversees care planning, safeguarding, training and quality, and personally replies to the families who review us.

Megan Williams
Megan WilliamsJob Title:Deputy ManagerJoined: 2022

Megan has been with us since 2021, our third team member and one of the originals. We've supported her the whole way: from Carer to Care Co-ordinator, then Trainer, and now Deputy Manager.

Along that path she earned her NVQ Level 3 and Level 5 in adult care, both funded by Helping at Home, and as Deputy Manager she now helps lead the training and development of the carers who follow her.

She knows the work from the front line up, and we couldn't be prouder of how far she's come.

Charlotte Offord
Charlotte OffordJob Title:Care Team LeaderJoined: 2024

Charlotte joined in 2024 and is vastly experienced across both residential and home care, and she holds a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care. She has progressed from Carer to Care Co-ordinator and now forms a vital part of our leadership team.

Charlotte matches each client with their carers based on location, care needs and personality, and leads the introductions before care starts, so the first visit is a familiar face rather than a stranger at the door. She is deeply professional and genuinely empathetic, and we're glad to have her.
