Helping at Home have provided great support, from when we first contacted them. They have provided flexible care for my mother, and have responded quickly to all requests for changes to services. The carers are exactly that, they seem to genuinely care about my mother's wellbeing and are quick to alert
us to any issues. The reports on the app are very helpful, allowing us to respond to anything she needs. We have recommended Helping at Home to friends.

The Helping at Home team have now been visiting my father for around 2 months and during that time, they have built up a good rapport with my parents and are very caring, compassionate and professional in their approach.
Home visits are undertaken in a timely manner and channels of communication good.
The carers also ensure that the care being delivered to my father is always of a high standard.
The team not only provides support to my father but also to my mother who is the main carer.
Nothing is "too much trouble" and they always go the extra mile!
Thank you.

Helping at Home and all their carers were an absolute godsend!
I'd struggled to find a care agency who would cover the rural areas outside Newark, and feel that we were beyond lucky to find Helping at Home. From the very first meeting, and during every visit, they treated my mum with kindness and patience.
They took on board every request and were really flexible around changing visit times when required. The reports written on the app after every visit allowed me an insight into Mum's regime and were a comfort to me, as I live in a different part of the country. I cannot recommend the team highly enough.

I engaged the services of Helping at Home following a recommendation. My dad had been in hospital and I felt that he needed some extra support now he was at home.
The team at Helping at Home have always been great and are completely flexible regarding my dad's needs.
One carer in particular is very
accommodating and nothing is too much trouble for her.
I would thoroughly recommended this team.

Having previously used another service provider, I have been greatly impressed with the service that is provided. All of the carers without exception are professional and go the extra mile to ensure that all of my mothers' needs are met. They always have time to chat which is as important to my mother
as being washed and dressed. The app enables me to see at a glance how the visit has been and gives me total peace of mind which I find very reassuring when I am at work. It also allows for my sister who lives many miles away to keep in touch with my mother's wellbeing on a daily basis.

  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 21 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.929 for Helping at Home is calculated as follows: ( (117 Excellents x 5) + (9 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 126 Ratings = 4.929
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.5 Points for the second and third Positive Reviews, 0.25 Points for each of the next two Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.05, 7th = 0.05, 8th = 0.05, 9th = 0.05, 10th = 0.05, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025)

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Helping at Home is based on 21 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 5
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
