Helping at Home

Helping at Home is a very professional organization. The Carers are quite proficient and very capable. The staff have always been courteous, pleasant and respectful. I think everyone does a good job. Their feedback mechanism is very useful and they go to considerable lengths to ensure that communication is clear and effective.

We're very happy with the service provided by helping at home. The carers are punctual and diligent. Nothing is to much trouble for them. It's important for my parents to know who is coming to see them, and they stick very closely to the times. This isn't something all care providers can do. They also provide cleaning services - the house is spotless.

HAH has provided an excellent service to my mother for several months. Their carers always look professional in their uniforms, and are professional in their actions. They are friendly, patient and kind in their interactions with Mum. Additionally, the staff in the office have shown a high level of care and concern for Mum.

Helping at Home was recommended to us by two separate close friends, who both use their services for the care of their Mums. It was a very difficult decision for us, as we have been caring for Mum and this felt that we were letting Mum down. However, having taken that step, Helping at Home and the carers have made this so much better than we could have hoped for. Mum's carer has been exceptional, so kind, thoughtful and nothing appears to be too much trouble. After only a month, they have built up a close bond, for which we are eternally grateful. All of the carers are exceptional in their attitude and the professional way they care for my wife. They arrive on time and nothing is ever a trouble to them, when they get her up and either washed or showered and dressed. They will even go into her wardrobe and help her choose what she would like to wear so what more could I expect or say. five-stars all the way.

Helping at Home have provided great support, from when we first contacted them. They have provided flexible care for my mother, and have responded quickly to all requests for changes to services. The carers are exactly that, they seem to genuinely care about my mother's wellbeing and are quick to alert us to any issues. I'd struggled to find a care agency who would cover the rural areas outside Newark, and feel that we were beyond lucky to find Helping at Home. From the very first meeting, and during every visit, they treated my mum with kindness and patience. They took on board every request and were really flexible around changing visit times when required. The reports written on the app after every visit allowed me an insight into Mum's regime and were a comfort to me, as I live in a different part of the country. I cannot recommend the team highly enough.

Having previously used another service provider, I have been greatly impressed with the service that is provided. All of the carers without exception are professional and go the extra mile to ensure that all of my mothers' needs are met. They always have time to chat which is as important to my mother as being washed and dressed. The app enables me to see at a glance how the visit has been and gives me total peace of mind which I find very reassuring when I am at work. It also allows for my sister who lives many miles away to keep in touch with my mother's wellbeing on a daily basis.
